What follows is the 96th Meditation Focus suggested for the two consecutive weeks beginning Sunday, September 28, 2003.

1. SUMMARY
As much of the world's vast but finite endowment of natural resources and life-nurturing balance is being increasingly consumed and threatened by a civilization apparently bent on its own destruction through mindless, ignorant abuse of the fragile Web of Life, and as ever more humans are devoting ever more of their waking hours to fulfill gargantuan needs and desires for acquiring and using as large a share of the world's resources as they possibly can, there is precious little time left both to prevent a catastrophic plunge into ecological annihilation, within a relatively short span of time, and to come back to our senses so as to put a stop to this mad dash through changing within each of us the very nature of our consciousness and how we each perceive our relationship with each other and with the entire Web of Life.
Few people, indeed, actually take time off their busy schedule to pause long enough in an appropriate environment to reconnect, through mind and consciousness-expanding spiritual techniques, with the Life Force that makes their heart throb and sustains their very existence in this all-consuming physical experience known as life on Earth. Even fewer people do go deep enough within their soul to realize in its entire fullness, breath and scope the amazing gift of life that enables them to pursue a lifetime of accomplishment and oh! so evanescent pleasures in a body of flesh, blood and bones. And yet, a fully conscious realization of the uniquely precious nature of our existence, here and now — no matter how difficult our specific personal circumstances may sometimes appear to be — is a sine qua non condition for a global awakening, through countless individual moments of spiritual epiphany, to the grace, beauty and intrinsic Oneness of All That is, thus enabling, ultimately, a complete change of course, individually and globally, towards remembering Who We Are and acting accordingly to make this world a better place for all beings, small or great, sentient and non-sentient.
Please dedicate your prayers and meditations, as guided by Spirit, in the coming two weeks, and especially in synchronous attunement at the usual time this Sunday and the following one, to contribute in infusing humanity's consciousness with the realization, through your own personal moments of spiritual epiphany, preferably in a natural environment or at least through inner connection with the vast, magnificent Web of Life, of the innate perfection, beauty and intelligence permeating every single cell of every single life form on Earth, including our own. Completely surrendering to the ecstatic bliss of this realization, let us all link consciously as One to express, each in our own unique and vitally important way, how much we appreciate the Miracle of Life as well as the Universal Life Giver Who makes this all possible, for the Highest Good of All.

"There is a “Doorway to Eternity” in each of our experiences, a shimmering portal of light in which we dissolve all illusions of separation. As we step through this Doorway we connect with our light body and enter the Mystery of God, the I AM Presence, the aspect of Being that dwells in Unified Light. We merge the two. We then walk back through the Doorway as Embodied Presence, full awakened within the world of form, no longer held hostage by its seeming limitations. "What is the web of life? Experts often depict the web by gathering a group of people in a circle. Each person is asked to represent some part of nature, such as a bird, soil, water, etc. A large ball of string then helps members of the group see the interconnecting relationships between things in nature. For example the bird eats insects so the string is passed from the "bird person" to the "insect person." That is their connection. The insect lives in a flower, so the string is further unrolled across the circle to the "flower person." Soon a web of string is formed interconnecting all members of the group, including the one or two who represent people. Dramatically, people pull back slightly and sense how the string peacefully unites, supports and interconnects them and of all life. Then one strand of the web is cut signifying the loss of a species, habitat or relationship. Sadly, the weakening effect on all is noted. Another and another string is cut. Soon the web's integrity, support and power disintegrates along with its spirit. Because this activity reflects the reality of our lives, this has brought some participants in the activity to feelings of hurt, despair and sadness. Time Speeding Up

This page deals with the concept of time which might be speeding up according to various channeled messages. Here I have gathered some material pertaining to this topic, but I would like to find out ways to make it all more objective. Would there be a way to objectively measure something like time speeding up? In the article from Karen Danrich she says that her watch simply stopped running at certain times! That starts to smell objectively, if it occurs more often. Perhaps the experience of time speeding up is just something that comes with growing older, or because you are occupied with more things than before. This page was made to see if something else might be taking place.
