1) SUMMARY
It has been said that if one wants to change the world, one only needs to change oneself first, and the rest of the world will eventually follow suit. This simple precept holds great truth today as our home planet is faced with unprecedented challenges and as the survival of countless species is critically at stake. One has to wonder what it will take to finally bring the entire world population to realize that something is deeply amiss and needs to be healed within most everyone for the world to be put right and for balance and harmony within the human community and with the natural world to once again prevail. The crux of the matter is that for far too long now, the basic premises of what constitutes a balanced human being have been overlooked while the consequences of this deeply rooted imbalance stare us all in the face. Just like everything else in this physical universe, each human being is born with two innate and equally important qualities that normally balance out each other to enable a sane outlook on life and a healthy relationship with all other beings. We are each supposed to express both the feminine and masculine sides of our soul in equal measure so as to participate from a balanced perspective to all aspects of the human existence.
Yet, sadly, because of an overpowering cultural influence deeply skewed in favor of the masculine and often domineering view of the world, most humans tend to show various degrees of imbalance in their behaviors and perceptions on life in general. Cultures dominated by a predominantly masculine energy bent have been at the source of countless wars and of incalculable damages sustained by the environment of our living planet. To say that a more caring, compassionate attitude towards each other and all other life forms is badly needed today is clearly an understatement. It is conceivable that unless a complete re-balancing between our basic feminine and masculine polarities is soon achieved, the root cause of most of our global problems will remain unaddressed and the direction toward which our civilization is headed won't change. There is not much time left to undertake one of the key changes that will go a long way towards solving much of what's wrong today. Yet, again, as for so many other subtle aspects of the human conundrum which can be and have been successfully addressed through a collective focus on what is best for us all, we can influence positively the global psyche of humanity through first allowing this rebalancing to take place within oneself so as to be a better conduit for the high vibrational healing powers of the Omniversal Being of Love, and simultaneously radiating this healing and rebalancing process to all human beings, as guided from within, and so contribute exponentially to help bring about the global changes needed.
Please, consider joining this common endeavor in the coming four weeks, both during the globally synchronized Sunday meditations and at any other given moment when you will feel prompted to do so, so as to help heal the feminine and balance the masculine within yourself, thus contributing to creating a world where true Compassion, unconditional Love and universal Peace will prevail, for the Highest Good of All.

Balancing Masculine & Feminine

The balance of male and female makes us whole. We all have a feminine side and a masculine side to us. In Jungian psychology, it is termed the anima and animus: the male has an inner feminine, while the female has an inner masculine. This makes total sense, as we all come from both the masculine and the feminine - a mother and a father: egg and sperm. Neither is more or less important than the other - they simply offer us different and very necessary parts of our being.
The aspect of the masculine contains (in brief) the more rational, direct, practical, assertive qualities, while the feminine is the creative, intuitive, feeling, visionary part. The feminine also contains the ability to look inward, as the masculine quality is outward directed. Just as it is necessary to be able to cope with the world and its demands, as the masculine part of our being does so well in its pure, non distorted state, so too, being introspective is a crucial aspect of who we are. In our society in general, the feminine aspect of our being, (as with women in general), has been labeled "less than." For a man, in some ways, showing feminine qualities, or feelings, has even been forbidden. If a man is seen as sensitive and introspective, he is laughed at and labeled a wimp. Therefore, for a man, often it becomes dangerous to show feelings or let others in, as there is a great fear of ridicule and rejection.
Why this has come to be is a long story, but the gist of it is, it is unbalanced to think that either aspect of our being, whether it be our masculine energy or our feminine energy, is stupid, less than, or something to be demeaned or denied. It is clear as crystal that one without the other doesn't work to create life, whether that means the creation of various aspects of our life and dreams, or the creation of a child. The old and unbalanced masculine programming that most men were given tells one that when you are introspective you are doing something wrong. Your feminine part knows you must go inward to be a clear human being. Women are also told that to be assertive, pro active, and use one's own power and abilities - the masculine aspect of oneself - is not appropriate. When the pure essence of the masculine energy is distorted, it turns into aggression. When the true essence of the feminine is distorted, it becomes resentful and withdraws love and connectedness. The feminine energy is all about relationship, connecting with love and support and nurturance, sensitive to the needs and feelings of others. The masculine, in its true essence, gets the job done in a way that is reliable, trustworthy, protective. When the masculine is balanced, it responds and communicates in such a way that others feel safe, physically as well as emotionally.
If a man gets very much out of balance by denying his feminine inner self, he will most likely have difficulties in that he will not be able to be in touch with his feelings, and this can lead to difficulties in relationships with others, not to mention oneself. A man, or woman, who denies her feminine, may substitute the lack of warmth that they feel in themselves for ambition, for ego attainment and accomplishment. and live a mostly analytical way of life. Mind over heart, in other words. While the rational certainly has its place and is an extremely important aspect of our being, without heart it becomes hard and cold, judgmental, critical, and aloof. A woman who denies her masculine becomes too soft, too passive, unable to move forward in her life or make decisions, and overly dependent upon others.
There are many ways to get in touch with whatever part of us has been repressed or has become distorted, or out of balance. One excellent method is to do a visualization where you find some quiet, alone time. Put on some gentle, soothing music (instrumental, no voices) and, after becoming quiet and relaxed, breathing deeply and gently for a few minutes, with eyes closed, you ask to see and speak with your feminine side. Then you Trust whatever shows up for you - whether it be impressions, or information, or thoughts, or a visual image, or a flash of memory or understanding. You then hold a conversation with this part and ask it what it needs, what may be troubling it, asking how you can help it to be more available to you, or more healthy. Then you also do this with your masculine side.
As you work and directly connect with both parts of yourself, you will create a new and healthier, more dynamic balance between them. You can then ask them to converse together, with each other, to share with one another what is needed also to create a symbiotic and complimentary, safe, trustworthy, wholeness between them. What is revealed may prove to be quite interesting. It is a good practice to do this checking in now and again to continue the healing and the growth process. This allows a healthy evolution of the masculine and feminine aspects of oneself. It creates a highly functional relationship between them, which then allows one to create healthy relationships in the external world. Working in harmony, honoring the gifts which each aspect of our being brings to us, creates a dynamic and healthy, well balanced life.
It is a timely issue. It IS time for all of us to be in and create a harmonious balance between the male and female parts of ourselves, to get beyond the duality of conflict into wholeness, where the whole is greater than the parts. We see this evidenced in the outer world every day as women struggle to be accepted, to find their own power, fearing that they will be put down or thought of as sexual objects. We see it in the aggression, stress, and fear men experience, struggling to be in relationship, but not knowing how. We see it in the movements that have taken place over the last 20 years to bring greater equality to the sexes. We have become polarized, the male and female struggling against one another, out of touch with one another, with no tools to bridge the gap. We see this in the high divorce rates, in unhappy lives, and in the distress of our children. We even see this division polarized on a world wide level - the issues of aggression and domination, and war. We need to be moving beyond partisanship, toward living in harmonious, honoring relationship as a global community. In reality the male/female balance is a oneness, as everything in Life is, both beautiful, both equal, different parts of a greater whole.

Phoenix Rising
We are all dancing, sometimes softly and gently, sometimes hot and steamy, sometimes together, sometimes alone. The divine music joins us always.
Let us reconnect with the lifeblood of creation. Let men and women create a sacred space together. Connecting with the lifeblood of creation means reconnecting with the feminine essence of divinity on earth. She has been waiting patiently – laid down for centuries.
Man and Woman ate the apple and lost consciousness and connection to the whole of divinity, to each other, to spirit and body. We are in a vortex of insanity. And we are searching for our path back to consciousness.
We make up that the feminine energy that men and women embody is all about love, nurturing, softness, giving, taking care of, nourishing, passive. And it is. And it is also power, sex, bleeding, dangerous, sultry, sensuous, daring, dancing, sizzling, passionate, birth, death, cyclical connecting energy. We are afraid of recognizing, embodying and unleashing this dark energy. It is an energy that embodies loving creation, but in the darkness it is destructive.
Imagine dancing with chaos and allowing the sultry, sizzling power of the divine goddess to emerge.
There is a divine intelligence always present, always loving and compassionate and full of joy. The darkness that hides this from us is what we must ride into the light.
Let us take another bite of the apple, the sweet, succulent, juicy divine apple, and together ride into the darkness and emerge on the path to consciousness and renewed divinity. This is every person’s birthright.
Let us ride the unicorn, a stallion, proud and beautiful, elegant and strong, mysterious, magical and powerful, to our divine essence.
Lets ride our hearts out while waving our wand of wild ecstatic love and rest in the stillness of peaceful bliss.
Like the phoenix, we must die into our life. We must let go into the mundane and magical power of life. We must fall into each other.

We would wish to thank you for being open to perceiving changes that are coming forth upon your planet. It deals with the concepts concerning masculine energy. We wish to speak of the representation of masculine energy upon your planet. We wish to call this the Divine Masculine. We wish to discuss how all of you may bring forth this energy with your life and bring it into balance.
Inherent in the physical form that you are presently residing in are aspects of masculine and feminine. Wether your body is of the masculine gender or not, there still is a masculine aspect in all beings upon this planet. There is a feminine aspect in all beings as well.
Much attention has been put upon healing the feminine energy upon this planet. This is very beautiful indeed. Feminine energy has been greatly suppressed upon this planet.
Within the past quarter century, women have begun to connect with their energy and strength. This has empowered many women upon the planet. Their sense of themselves is healing and expanding rapidly. Even those in the male body are feeling that they would like to be in touch with what has been described as the Divine Feminine within them.
Now it is time to think upon the Divine Masculine. This is a very important aspect indeed. It is something that living beings, even animals, have within them. All humans need to be in touch with this energy and allow it to expand in a positive, harmonious way.
There has been much negativity directed to the concept of masculine energy. Masculine energy has been that which has been credited with much of the disharmony, killing and suppression that is still going on upon this planet. Many have come to connect pain and suffering with masculine energy. It is important to realize that the masculine energy manifested upon this planet is out of balance. It needs to come into balance with the feminine.
First we would wish to address those who are in the male body, who are of the masculine gender. They are struggling to come into harmony with the energy that is generated within them. They wish to come into harmony with their driving force and the intense emotions. Many men are constantly challenged to maintain control of their impulses. For many years the masculine energy within men has dominated their entire being and there has been great killing and domination of the physically weaker by the physically stronger. This has come about by the over stimulation of the male energy.
Now that those in the female body have been honoring their particular type of strength, there can be balance between these two polarities.
The way of living by force and taking what is desired by this means is out of control with many and therefore is enacted throughout the planet. For the weapons of destruction, be they a gun or a bomb, are extensions of the masculine force. It is the masculine energy within men and women that make them feel that they must conquer or dominate others by force. In this way, they create pain and suffering for what the perceive as weak. This illustrates that this energy force is out of balance upon this planet.
What is the basic nature of the masculine energy? What are it’s beauties? How can it be brought into balance? The great aspect of the masculine is that it is outwardly creative. The feminine creates within its body. The masculine goes out and seeks the new. It wishes to explore, discover and build outwardly something that is an extension of itself. This energy has created a great deal of practical inventions as well as great beauty. The divine masculine has discovered the laws of nature and has created everything from the wheel to the computer to enhance the quality of life here. The divine masculine has created the desire to go into outer space. It is the force behind the drive to explore and populate all areas of the globe. Due to the unevolved nature of the masculine energy on your planet, it has brought with it destruction of the land of the earth, enslavement of its people and inequality in many aspects of life.
When the masculine comes into balance within each person there will be harmony and peace upon this planet. There will then be a balance of the masculine and feminine. These energies are meant to work together, they are meant to be equal. Each of these energies is like one side of a coin. The front or “head” of the coin is not better then the back or “tail” of the coin. They both work together to pay for what is needed.
Until the masculine energy of all, and particularly those in the male body, comes in harmony with themselves, there will be havoc, rape and domination in your world.
Many that are now in the male gender do not wish to look at themselves. They do not wish to look in to the inner recesses of their being, but they wish to conquer and expand outwardly. It is very important for men to be able to create balance and harmony within themselves.
This idea has proved to be very difficult for many men. The true challenge to men is to trade domination over others for dominion over themselves. They need to bring harmony to the forces within themselves that cause them to bring imbalance in their world.
This change in the use of masculine energy may seem to be something that may appeal to men who wish to meditate or grow spiritually. The great majority of those in the masculine body are not aware of the need for balance of their energies. The trends in the evolution of consciousness that are transpiring upon this planet are beginning to assist those in the masculine form to seek harmony within themselves and their world.
So it is that those in the masculine form at this time( for those who are now upon this planet have been both male and female), are in need of support at this time. They will begin to feel a calling within themselves. They will have a desire to heal this division that goes on within them.
This calling will come to men of all races and social-economic levels. It will come to be part of their way of thinking to desire to find balance within themselves. When this balance within them is stabilized, they will not seek to create distruction.
It has been the prayer of many upon this planet that this balance will come to those in government and to those who are creating war and havoc. This influence for change is coming from many different sources. It is coming from a change in consciousness that is growing upon this planet.
Many men and women are beginning to create peace within themselves. They are beginning to find balance within their nature. This will begin to work upon the male gender at large. Many more men will be seeking awareness of their nature. They will be seeking harmony within their impulses. It is important for those sisters and brothers who have started to walk in this direction to be open to giving them the assistance that they are seeking. It is important to honor this beauty that is emerging within them. Support them in their growth. In each man and woman this change is a personal journey. It is more obvious for those within the male form, but many women have allowed their male energy to dominate them as well. For these women, it is a matter of restoring the strength of their feminine energy as well as allowing their masculine nature to be expressed when necessary.
This way the divine masculine and feminine within each person will unite and work together in all the life situations that confront each person. One will not have a louder voice then the other, but will create a divine duet that will come forth as needed.
It is important at this time to realize that many have blundered, and have allowed the masculine energy to run rampant within them and their world in the past. Now they may wish forgiveness. It is important to be open to this forgiveness. It is important to assist them in this healing.
The imbalance of masculine and feminine energy within a person can cause great pain physically, mentally and emotionally. For those who have been touched by this dynamic force when it is out of control there has probably been great suffering. When one has offended you in this way wishes to seek assistance in changing their imbalance, we encourage you to be open to working with them. Allow the divine blessings of forgiveness to come forth within you. Assist them in whatever way is possible to help them heal and change.
For now the change will be permanent. Now there will be changes coming forth from men and women who have had their masculine energy out of control.
When this energy is harnessed in the right way, it creates beautiful buildings, cities and wonderful inventions that can be in balance with the feminine energy of nature and the environment. It is one of the most important issues to be evaluated at this time.
Rectifying this imbalance within the beings of your planet will bring about the answer to the greatest prayer of humanity: the prayer for peace.
Peace for all beings. This is what you all seek. We do not wish those in the male body to feel that it is solely directed at them. There are women whose masculine energy is also out of balance. They can be destructive as well. For both genders will begin to come into balance.
We encourage you to be open to assisting with this aspect of change in any way that feels appropriate to you. When any man or woman comes to you feeling the guilt about the pain and destruction they have caused by their energies being out of control, we would encourage you to be open to working with them to find their balance within. For often they need the mirror of another to really see themselves.
We would wish to give you this meditation. It is the meditation of the Harmony of the Divine Masculine and Feminine.
We would wish you to see a beautiful man and woman. They are standing side by side. They are holding each other’s hand and smiling. Joy and love is passing between them. Now see yourself standing opposite them. This beautiful man and woman will start to shrink. They will begin to come into your heart area. They will finally settle within your heart. As they enter your body, you will begin to see yourself glowing with a beautiful white light.
This beautiful quality is beginning to be established within you. You are also assisting to create this balance within people you do not know when you allow it to manifest within you.
If you feel so inclined, you may wish to create drawings or poems that speak of this balance. Create something in the material world that will be a symbol of this growing harmony.
Each person’s connection to their Higher Self, teachers and guides will enable them to know what must be done. You can help by forgiving them and supporting them in creating change within their lives. Bring them food, go have coffee with them, show them love and perhaps give them a gift. This will spur them on to their goal, which is the goal of all humanity. As more open to the energy of their divine totality, great healing will commence.
So think about your own Divine Masculine and Feminine energy. Ask Divine Guidance to assist you in healing the imbalance within you. It is a wonderful time to see this transformation take place within you and before you.

The Point of Return
PESSIMISM IS IN fashion. Scientists, environmentalists and climatologists are claiming that collapse is around the corner and civilisation is coming to an end. Book after book tells us that we have passed the tipping point and have reached the point of no return. The skies are saturated with CO2 and the atmosphere is filled with greenhouse gases. We are told over and over that whatever we do, we cannot reverse the rise in temperature or prevent the sea from flooding London! What happened to New Orleans will happen to New York. Global warming is here to stay. The scenario of doom and gloom is expounded by experts and activists alike.
We do not underestimate the severity of the climate crisis. We respect the scientists who are predicting a catastrophic future for humanity. We agree that our present way of life, so dependent on the use of fossil fuel, is hanging on a cliff edge. If we go any further we will fall into the abyss. So the only thing we can do now is to take a step back; let’s call it “the point of return”. We need to return to a way of life that is free from damaging dependence on fossil fuel.
At present we burn billions of barrels of petroleum every day for our food, clothes, homes, heating, lighting, transport and entertainment. This way of life is not only wasteful and unsustainable, but also very dangerous. As Sir Crispin Tickell writes in his article, it took nature 200 million years to create the vast store of fossil energy that we have almost spent in 200 years. The speed with which we are exhausting fossil energy is incredible. Sir Crispin suggests a fundamental shift in values and a radical return to a holistic worldview.
There is a word in Sanskrit for the point of return: it is pratikraman. Its opposite is atikraman, which means stepping outside our natural limits. Atikraman happens when we break the universal law. Returning to the centre of one’s being or to the source of inner wisdom is pratikraman. These two Sanskrit words provide a useful approach to understanding the current human predicament and a possible way out. A profound introspection is needed to examine the state of our psyche; we need to ask, are we meeting our need or indulging our greed? Are we healing or wounding the Earth?
In the context of climate change and global warming, addiction to oil is atikraman and a return to the energy derived from air, water and sun is pratikraman. One way to begin our pratikraman is to stop and put a cap on consumerism. We need a moratorium on motorways and runways. No new homes without insulation. We need to put an immediate freeze on industrialised agriculture everywhere in the world. Once we have put such a complete freeze on the use of fossil fuel, we can start the reduction process and the return journey to renewable resources. If we plan and manage our return journey carefully we should be able to escape the projected meltdown. We were able to repair the hole in the ozone layer by reducing the use of CFCs; we should be able to mitigate the extreme consequences of global warming if we can put an immediate cap on the use of fossil fuel and prepare to make the return journey instantly.
To meet the challenge of global warming, we need to change from being consumers to being artists; we have to take refuge in the arts and crafts. As William Morris advocated long ago, arts and crafts ignite our imagination, stimulate our creativity and bring us a sense of fulfilment. Poetry, painting, pottery, music, meditation, gardening, sculpting and umpteen other forms of arts and crafts can meet all basic human needs; produce beautiful objects to use, which need not require the use of fossil fuel. Human happiness, true prosperity and joyful living can only emerge from a life of elegant simplicity.
We are at the point of return from gross to subtle, from glamorous to gracious, from hedonism to healing, from conquest of the Earth to conservation of Nature, and from quantities of possessions to quality of life. It is ‘cool’ to be an optimist.

MAKING A LIVING THAT AFFIRMS LIFE
Each of us experiences a lifelong tug-of-war between our money interests and the calling of our soul. When we're in the domain of soul, we act with integrity. We are thoughtful and generous, allowing, courageous, and committed. We recognize the value of love and friendship. We admire a small thing well done. We experience moments of awe in the presence of nature and its unrefined beauty. We are open, vulnerable, and heartful. We have the capacity to be moved, and generosity is natural. We are trustworthy and trusting of others, and our self-expression flourishes. We feel at peace within ourselves and confidant that we are an integral part of a larger, more universal experience, something greater than ourselves.
When we enter the domain of money, there often seems to be a disconnect from the soulful person we have known ourselves to be. It is as if we are suddenly transported to a different playing field where all the rules have changed. In the grip of money, those wonderful qualities of soul seem to be less available. We become smaller. We scramble or race to "get what's ours." We often grow selfish, greedy, petty, fearful, or controlling, or sometimes confused, conflicted or guilty. We see ourselves as winners or losers, powerful or helpless, and we let those labels deeply define us in ways that are inaccurate, as if financial wealth and control indicate innate superiority, and lack of them suggests a lack of worth or basic human potential. Visions of possibility dissolve. We become wary and mistrusting, protective of our little piece, or helpless and hopeless. We sometimes feel driven to behave in ways inconsistent with our core values, and unable to act differently.
The result is a deep division in our way of being, in our behaviour, and in our sense of our own character and integrity. This dichotomy, this break in our truth, not only confuses us around the issue of money, it also keeps us from integrating our inner and outer worlds to experience wholeness in our lives, the exquisite moment when we feel at peace in the moment, a part of and one with life. This quieter experience of wholeness has been largely lost in our culture, overtaken by the noise and scramble around money. The gap exists for all of us -- myself included -- and is at the very heart of the toughest struggles in life for all of us.
Money itself isn't the problem. Money itself isn't bad or good. Money itself doesn't have power or not have power. It is our interpretation of money, our interaction with it, where the real mischief is and where we find the real opportunity for self-discovery and personal transformation. CLIP
