George The Menace #3: Psychotic Fruitcakes Armed With Nuclear Weapons Seeking Urgent Therapy

Hello everyone!

This compilation is definitely the largest I've ever sent out to this list - over 108 pages! That's what happens when I skip a week. Sorry for the huge lump of reading material.

On the other hand, if you have time to review some of what I've put together for you, you'll certainly find many valuable nuggets - that's how it feel to me every time I stumble upon some amazing stuff or simply read the voluminous email correspondence I constantly receive. So, of course, you'll read about North Korea, Iran, the continuing (and really horrendous!) carnage in Iraq, the infamous Foley scandal (only the mere tip of the paedophilia iceberg floating around DC), and some really amazing revelations (or confirmations depending on your level of knowledge) as you'll find in the transcript of a recent interview with 'Henry Deacon'. There are also some pretty uplifting spiritual messages for good measure. But before you start reading all this, I'd like to include here for your review - this is pretty IMPORTANT I feel - the addition I made a couple days ago the to welcome message that is automatically emailed by the listserver system to each new subscriber. Since most of you will probably never have an opportunity to see it otherwise, here it is right away...

(...) In case you do not receive some parts of my compilations (split in several 20-page parts, because this automated listserver cannot handle larger emails) as it sometimes happens, please do not email me to request the missing parts. Go instead at to access the missing material in the archived copy. Note also that the URL to access directly each new compilation is always included at the top of each part.

Finally, there is an important warning that you need to receive. If you are completely new to the kind of information I network, you may become disturbed by some aspects of what you will learn. People who rely solely on the mainstream media to form their understanding of the world we live in often are shocked to discover the duplicitous nature of what some governments are doing and have a hard time adjusting to this new information and the resulting paradigm shift thus required. Here is how I was summarizing this problem (in October 2006): "How can you expose people to such disheartening information while making sure they remain above, spiritually and emotionally speaking, this morass and derive from this even more resolve to manifest their unique contribution to global awakening and continue forging ahead in their own spiritual upliftment."

As you will see, when I feel it is necessary, I often include a short introductory comment to my compilations designed to help mitigate some of the worst demoralizing effects of some of the material in it. I also sometimes add additional comments to specific articles within the compilation. I usually strive to balance out the challenging information in each compilation with more uplifting material, but this is not always possible. The global Meditation Focus regularly suggested are a way for many people to achieve a sense of personal empowerment in the face of the many challenges of our time and they provide a unique opportunity to be of real service to help mitigate humanitarian crises and positively influence the course of events and the pace of spiritual awakening in this world. But in the end, each reader must come with her/his own personal way to deal with the harsher aspects of reality sometimes featured in my compilations.

Many subscribers over the years have provided precious contributions, inspirational material and advices on this matter and others, which I have been most happy to pass on in my compilations. You too may have some unique contributions to offer at some point which I'll be happy to review and network if I feel it is relevant to the overall awakening and empowerment process we are engaged in. Such contributions are always welcomed! Please note however that, due to the large volume of emails I continuously receive, I cannot allow everyone on this list to add me to their own personal e-list and thus forward me all kinds of stuff. You may send me *occasionally* material you feel would fit well into a compilation, but please, do not add me to your regular list of Cc.

It is my deeply held conviction that we are going to see a truly wonderful future unfold and my sense is that, instead of denying oneself the opportunity to be challenged by the knowledge of the often traumatic evolutionary experiences humanity is undergoing, we can gain the most spiritually from engaging ourselves as co-creators of a brighter future, individually, locally and even globally, and manifesting the unique and vital contribution to this process we are here to manifest.

Trusting the innate divine abilities we all have and being the best we can be in everything will be the saving grace of this world.

Be all That You Are and enjoy the ride!

"Again, dear Jean, thank you for your compilations. Somehow the Light shines so bright in you that you can compile the most sci-fi, terrible, unbelievable truths, and still convey the certainty that the Light shall prevail!"

- "Kathleen Beatty">

"The Light turned into the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen: a mandala of human souls on this planet. Now I came to this with my negative view of what has happened on the planet. So as I asked the light to keep clarifying for me, I saw in this magnificent mandala how beautiful we all are in our essence, our core. We are the most beautiful creations. The human soul, the human matrix that we all make together is absolutely fantastic, elegant, exotic, everything. I just cannot say enough about how it changed my opinion of human beings in that instant. I said, "Oh, God, I did not know how beautiful we are." At any level, high or low, in whatever shape you are in, you are the most beautiful creation, you are. I was astonished to find that there was no evil in any soul. I said "How can this be?" The answer was that no soul was inherently evil. The terrible things that happened to people might make them do evil things, but their souls were not evil. What all people seek, what sustains them, is love, the Light told me. What distorts people is a lack of love."

"The Democrats will not lead us out of Iraq. As heretical as this may sound, I am more afraid of the wrong Democrat winning the White House than I am the wrong Republican -- because then we will feel the need to support ‘our’ president, and his or her ‘difficult decisions’ on how to ‘do the right thing for Iraq’ and ‘withdraw with honor’. We will divide, and conquer ourselves. We know from Vietnam that there is no way to withdraw with honor from a corrupt war."

– Paul Haggis

"I cannot endorse strongly enough this report prepared by Karen Parker regarding U.S. war crimes in Iraq. Having witnessed much of what is so well documented in this report, it is a clear and encompassing indictment of the Bush Administration for the war crimes they are directly responsible for in Iraq. Until evidence such as this begins to see the light of day in a court of law and the perpetrators brought to justice, the world remains unsafe and unstable from an administration determined to rule the world. After witnessing what they are capable of in Iraq, I have no doubt these people will not stop in their quest for world domination.? Instead, they must be stopped. And the only way to do that is bring the guilty to justice. This document will help achieve that goal." Click here to read the report in full [pdf]

- Dahr Jamail, noted independent journalist who spent more than eight months reporting from occupied Iraq - Taken from

"After spending four days in the fortified and secure Green Zone, in Iraq, during September 06, former Secretary of State James Baker III assured that the investigative panel he led had not spent any time wringing our hands over what mistakes might or might not have been created in the past. (NYT, September 20, 2006). The Consumers for Peace report on war crimes committed in Iraq helps us understand our responsibility not to wring our hands but rather to demand accountability from elected representatives by delivering this report to them and to local media. How many people killed? How many families torn apart? How many homes destroyed? How many livelihoods gone? How many lives ruined? How many cities sacrificed? We bear responsibility to end the war in Iraq, insist on just reparations for suffering caused, and promote careful, legal scrutiny of the crimes committed. This report beckons all who read it to stop collaborating with illegal, immoral warmongers who recklessly afflict Iraq."

"I charge that the government is engaged in immoral and criminal conduct on a global scale. That it does not conform to the norms of civil society; that it is sociopathic, and flagrantly violates domestic and international law. The form of government that we have does not serve the citizenry˜it preys upon them. It is not a government of the people, for the people. It is government of the corporations, for the corporations, by the corporations˜a corporate Plutocracy."

- Charles Sullivan -- Taken from The Assassins of Truth

"Light is shining on Earth more brightly than ever before in the current, multi-millennial epoch. Men and women all over the planet, from every nation, every religion, and every culture, are lovingly grounding this Light. It is not organizational; it is organic. It is the Light of a spiritual revolution that is changing the world forever, ushering in an unprecedented age of peace and prosperity for all. Yes, we are on the threshold of the Golden Age that has been promised throughout human history. Global societies, even with all of the technological advancements in our generation, have long lived in spiritual darkness and ignorance. Our religions, though based on nuggets of truth, contain many serious distortions of both God and Man. Our governments have not really been the benign influence many may have imagined. Together, religion and politics (which we have been told we are not supposed to talk about—more on that later) have attempted to control humanity for the benefit of those who sit at the top of the heap, so to speak. These have deceived, plundered, conspired, and used force to keep humanity in its place. They have mastered manipulation of entire populations through guilt and fear. Their “largeness” is maintained by convincing others they are too small and stupid to take control of their own lives, which, unfortunately, most humans readily accept as true. This Light that shines everywhere is revealing the distortions and misconceptions. Essentially, it is unmasking the puppet masters who have been pulling our strings for millennia. People are finally becoming able to see behind the curtains and into the ivory towers of those who have ruled by the so-called “divine right of kings” and priests. What is it that we are seeing? It’s even seeping into the mainstream news: gross corruption at the highest levels of government and religion. Our leadership is sick and out of touch; and they are desperately trying to maintain their illusion of control. Their charade is ending; and even force will not prevail against the Power of Truth manifest in and by the Light of Love. There will be no more hiding places as every secret abomination gets revealed."

Please gather as many signatures as possible. We would like to take a global collective declaration of peace to the United Nations and the Hague. (...) This Treaty is a call to the People of the World to seek and affirm peace first and foremost to one another. It is intended to show all governments of the world that the instruments of war are no longer the sounds we will allow to be played. They must, for the sake of all creation, learn a new song. Another "Average American" Ready To Confront The New World Order Before It's Too Late

America: Freedom to Fascism movie now available for free on the Internet
I met Aaron Russo at the Friday night showing. Because of the removal of the Right to Habeas Corpus, the government can now arrest you, in your home and without a warrant, and incarcerate you without honoring your request for a lawyer. You can disappear for as long as they wish to hold you and you have no recourse. Aaron said that due to this, his plan of theatre release will take too much time to get this film to the public so he will place it on the Internet for free. Good to his word, Aaron Russo has made the America: Freedom to Fascism movie available, free, on the Internet. Also, you will find on the same page, two other movies that will give insight on how our Republic and our Sovereignty has been compromised so that now we are on the brink of slavery to a one world dictatorship. This is a must see film and I urge you to take advantage of this opportunity. Recommended by Leonard Spade>

U. K.'s Last 2006 Wheat Formation - A Mayan "Lamat"? (FASCINATING STUFF!)
(...) That day the moon, Earth, the Sun, the Pleiades will be aligned and we will be, according to the Mayans, in direct alignment with the center of our galaxy. For that reason, it is a very important astronomical day. We found that eclipse date in the 2005 Wayland’s Smithy formation. For that reason, my geologist friend, Calderon, considers that this Etchilhampton message is related to the message at Wayland’s Smithy. He is considering that Lamat is probably the sign of the change of the era, the end and beginning of the new era. According to codex information, the transition of the Lamat end of the big calendar will start with the solar eclipse on May 20, 2012. And we know that the calendar of the Mayan will finish in December. We also have to remember that we are moving toward a very big cycle of the Sun, the Solar Maximum. According to many scientists around the world, this one is going to be spectacular, very strong. We have to remember the Mayan prophecies told us that the Sun, would more or less take out of balance all the natural systems of the Earth. This would change the conditions of the Earth and our civilization. CLIP

A COSMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR DIVINE GOVERNMENT (For those who believe in this...)
Note from Jean: I personally believe this very imaginative idea is bogus but, from the numerous forwards I got, apparently many people feel otherwise. See for yourself... More details below...

Missions 1017 (Posted Sept 13)
A cosmic trigger event is occurring on the 17th of October 2006 - NUMEROUS comments posted there including this one...

"Hey … October 17 could be just another day like any other … but then again, maybe it won’t be. Does it REALLY matter if this started out as something “real” or not or just as someone’s imaginative idea of what would be nice to have happen? I don’t think the source of this idea does matter; what matters is HOW WE EACH FEEL INDIVIDUALLY ABOUT IT! If you believe that we manifest our own realities, then it certainly can’t hurt to spend some time sending out positive thoughts and wishes at the same time as a million other souls on Earth … and who knows, it just might help. I plan to put some extra effort into my thoughts, prayers, and blessings that day, just in case I can help a good thought become part of a great reality. After all, every little drop of Love adds to the ocean of support that keeps us all afloat."

and this one...

"Well, why don’t we create Mission 365.25?! That is, every single moment of our lives we live as though all is One, is Peace and is Love? I read a book by Walter Russell a while back, called the Universal One. Time is an illusion. The power of Love is at the neutral center, and it is from that point that twin cycles in nature commence. There would be no need to say “ok, it’s gonna be 17th October, I’m gonna send out a UV beam”. Some people know that they can make a name for themselves by preaching peace and love, and by securing a little slice of the action by having a channelled message and getting people to believe it. We want to believe because we all want a change. Let’s make it from that place we are all One, the neutral center, and then apply it to the fullness of the cycles, all year round. Of course it is 17th October, and 18th and 19th etc."

N Korea carries out nuclear test (Oct 9)
NORTH Korea has this afternoon detonated a nuclear device despite global warnings that it would bring a powerful response from the international community.

All Nine Nuclear Powers Are Violating Non-Proliferation Treaty
"As North Korea becomes the eighth confirmed nuclear power (Israel is not confirmed but considered the ninth) some of the blame has to go to the original five nuclear powers," writes Scott Galindez. "When the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty went into effect in 1970, the five countries who had nuclear bombs - the US, France, China, Great Britain, and the USSR - agreed to work to reduce and eventually eliminate their nuclear arsenals. Now, 36 years later, no disarmament talks are taking place between those countries."

Kim's Message: War is coming to US soil
By Kim Myong Chol
("Unofficial" spokesman of Kim Jong-il and North Korea.)
It is sheer illusion to think that sanctions and isolation will stop North Korea from the planned nuclear test. US hostility, threats and sanctions are the very engines that have propelled the development of nuclear weapons. Absent US hostility, nuclear blackmailing, sanctions, threats of isolation and regime change, the Kim administration would never have thought at all of acquiring nuclear deterrence.

Nuclear Blackmail
North Korea has repeatedly agreed to junk its nuclear weapons provided the US does three things: 1. deal directly with Pyongyang, which Washington refuses to do; 2. provide security guarantees that the US will not attack North Korea; 3. provide economic aid. The Bush Administration's hard-line neoconservatives refuse to validate‚ North Korea's totalitarian regime through direct talks. Neocons are determined to overthrow Kim Jong-il.

Ambling towards Disaster; Bush's North Korea Policy
It took 6 years of relentless threats, sanctions and belligerence, but Bush finally succeeded in pushing Kim Jong-Il to build North Korea's first nuclear bomb. Now, Kim can just add a few finishing touches to his ballistic-missile delivery system, the Taepo-dong ICBM, and he'll be able to wipe out the 9 western states with a flip of the switch.

US push for air strikes (Oct 10)
PENTAGON hawks will try to persuade US President George W. Bush he should order immediate military air strikes to obliterate North Korean nuclear sites. (...) He said the problem the US faced in attacking would be North Korean leader Kim Jong-il's promise to turn South Korean capital Seoul into "a sea of fire" and the potential for it to launch missiles on Japan.Dr Ayson said the US had 37,000 troops in South Korea and casualties would be high. Pyongyang had an estimated 80,000 artillery pieces concentrated on the area and may use non-conventional chemical weapons.Despite the risks, Dr Ayson, a specialist in North Asian strategy, said the US military option was a real possibility, given Mr Bush has said he could not tolerate a nuclear North Korea."Military action is now more likely after the test, but is probably less than 50 per cent (likely)," Dr Ayson said.US intelligence sources said the Bush Administration was considering naval action around North Korea, stopping short of a blockade but intercepting and inspecting all ships off the peninsula.Analysts estimate North Korea may have enough nuclear material for a dozen weapons and has built two or three, but is yet to miniaturise them enough for long-range missiles. The major threat its nuclear capacity posed was the potential for it to sell a bomb to a terrorist group that would sail it to a US port, or the possibility for it to drop a device from an aircraft over a major city. Bush's Nuclear Apocalypse
The aircraft carrier Eisenhower, accompanied by the guided-missile cruiser USS Anzio, guided-missile destroyer USS Ramage, guided-missile destroyer USS Mason and the fast-attack submarine USS Newport News, is, as I write, making its way to the Straits of Hormuz off Iran. The ships will be in place to strike Iran by the end of the month. It may be a bluff. It may be a feint. It may be a simple show of American power. But I doubt it.

The October Surprise (October 3)
It should come as no surprise if the Bush Administration undertakes a preemptive war against Iran sometime before the November election. Were these more normal times, this would be a stunning possibility, quickly dismissed by thoughtful people as dangerous, unprovoked, and out of keeping with our national character. But we do not live in normal times. And we do not have a government much concerned with our national character. If anything, our current Administration is out to remake our national character into something it has never been. The steps will be these: Air Force tankers will be deployed to fuel B-2 bombers, Navy cruise missile ships will be positioned at strategic points in the northern Indian Ocean and perhaps the Persian Gulf, unmanned drones will collect target data, and commando teams will refine those data. The latter two steps are already being taken. Then the president will speak on national television. He will say this: Iran is determined to develop nuclear weapons; if this happens, the entire region will go nuclear; our diplomatic efforts to prevent this have failed; Iran is offering a haven to known al Qaeda leaders; the fate of our ally Israel is at stake; Iran persists in supporting terrorism, including in Iraq; and sanctions will have no affect (and besides they are for sissies). He will not say: ...and besides, we need the oil. Therefore, he will announce, our own national security and the security of the region requires us to act. "Tonight, I have ordered the elimination of all facilities in Iran that are dedicated to the production of weapons of mass destruction....." In the narrowest terms this includes perhaps two dozen targets. But the authors of the war on Iraq have "regime change" in mind in Iran. According to Colonel Sam Gardiner (author of "The End of the 'Summer of Diplomacy': Assessing U.S. Military Options in Iran," The Century Foundation, 2006) to have any hope of success, such a policy would require attacking at least 400 targets, including the Revolutionary Guard. But even this presumes the Iranian people will respond to a massive U.S. attack on their country by overthrowing their government. Only an Administration inspired by pre-Enlightenment fantasy could believe a notion such as this.(...) In more rational times, including at the height of the Cold War, bizarre actions such as unilateral, unprovoked, preventive war are dismissed by thoughtful, seasoned, experienced men and women as mad. But those qualities do not characterize our current leadership. For a divinely guided president who imagines himself to be a latter day Winston Churchill (albeit lacking the ability to formulate intelligent sentences), and who professedly does not care about public opinion at home or abroad, anything is possible, and dwindling days in power may be seen as making the most apocalyptic actions necessary.

Nuclear Umbrella? The Peril of Missile Defense
The US will spend some $9 billion this year to develop ballistic missile defenses, with $9.3 billion slated for next year. Total US military spending exceeds half a trillion dollars for 2006. The September 16, 2006 International Herald Tribune reports that the US now spends more on its military than does the rest of the world combined.

War or Rumors of War?
According to Time, the Navy has issued "Prepare to Deploy Orders" (PTDOs) to a strike group including minesweepers, a submarine, an Aegis class cruiser, and a mine hunter. Taken alongside disclosures that the chief of naval operations asked his planners for a rundown of how a blockade of Iranian oil ports would work, these military preparations led Time to conclude cautiously that the United States "may be preparing for war with Iran."

Lebanon- Prelude to the Rape of Iran
An October attack would rally the US public around the currently unpopular Republican Congress and undercut the hapless Democratic Party whose virtually only appeal is "anti-Bush". It would also undermine the attempt of Iran to establish its oil bourse, a move that would bring Iran an additional $10 billion in revenues, and that some think would help undermine the US dollar as the world reserve currency.

Russia slams US "unilateral" move on Iran:
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday slammed Washington for acting "unilaterally" in the crisis over Iran's nuclear programme and urged the world powers to continue diplomatic efforts to resolve the standoff with Teheran.

Foley Scandal a Disaster for GOP
Republican strategists said yesterday that public revulsion over the sexually graphic online conversations between Congressman Mark Foley (R-Fla.) and former House pages could compound the party's problems enough to tip the House to the Democrats in November - and could jeopardize the party's hold on the Senate as well.

Foley's Behavior No Secret on Capitol Hill (October 1, 2006)
[Congressman] Foley's obsession with 16- and 17-year-old male pages has been known to Republicans on Capitol Hill for at least five years. But other than issue a warning, little else seems to have been done about the congressman. A former page has come forward to tell ABC News warnings were issued about Foley to the pages in 2001. Internet messages [were] sent by Foley to three different pages after that warning. Two of them were sent to pages in the 2001-2002 class, with sexually explicit messages, most too graphic to be broadcast, from Foley using the screen name Maf54. "Maf54: To be honest, I am a little to interested in you. So that's why I need to back off a little. Teen: Ya slow things down a little im still young - like under 18. don't want to do anything illegal - im not 18. Maf54: cool..dont forget to measure for me." [This last sentence was] a reference to his request that the page provide the ! measurements of his sexual organ, a request he repeatedly made to another page as well. Former pages tell ABC News the pages involved with Foley were afraid to offend the powerful Republican congressman. It's possible Foley could end up being prosecuted under laws he helped to enact as the co-chairman of the House caucus on Missing and Exploited Children. Note: If you want to know the degree of sexual corruption which reaches to the highest levels in government, see the incredibly well done Discovery Channel documentary Conspiracy of Silence available free online at (More on this below in "The Dark Side of the Stone")

Rice More Sordid Than Foley
"They are such liars," writes Robert Scheer. "In his book, Woodward described an encounter between Rice and Tenet, in a near panic about a rising flood of intelligence warnings just presented to him by top aide Cofer Black. Tenet forced an unscheduled meeting with Rice on July 10, 2001, because he wanted the Bush administration to take action immediately against Al Qaeda to disrupt a possible domestic attack."

The Tipping Point
"This Foley scandal may well become the tipping point that drives this catastrophically dangerous Republican party out of power in Congress come November, and may finally unleash an avalanche that will sweep some degree of accountability back into government," writes William Rivers Pitt.

In House Races, More GOP Seats Are Seen at Risk
At least five more Republican Congressional seats are in serious contention, analysts said Friday, as signs that the Congressional page scandal are sapping the enthusiasm of a group essential to Republican victories in 2002 and 2004: religious conservatives.

The White House and Mr. Abramoff
The New York Times: "The sordid Mark Foley controversy has diverted public attention from another major Washington ethics scandal - the influence peddling involving the disgraced former superlobbyist Jack Abramoff. That's good news for the Bush administration, given freshly heightened suspicion that its dealings with Mr. Abramoff and his sleazy K Street operation were far cozier than it is willing to admit."

A New "Night of Long Knives?"
Larry C. Johnson says: "It looks like Republican homosexuals who work on the Hill are being set up as the ultimate scapegoat for the electoral disaster awaiting the Republicans in November. It remains to be seen whether there will be a purge, albeit a bloodless one, of homosexual staffers, but the tale of the rocky relationship between Adolf Hitler and the co-founder of the Nazis, Ernst Roehm, who also led the Storm Troopers offers some fascinating parallels."

Elections in the USA: Justice And The Perversion of Justice
In a month in which the US Congress voted to legalize torture, discard the US Constitution by abolishing habeas corpus and increase the military budget to prolong the daily slaughter of hundreds of Iraqis and Afghanis, the big controversy among the mass media and elected officials is the sexual overtures of a Republican Congressman to adolescent boys employed by Congress.

U.S.: Attack Dogs Used Against Prisoners
Five state prison systems in the United States permit the use of aggressive, unmuzzled dogs to terrify and even attack prisoners in efforts to remove them from their cells, Human Rights Watch said today in a new report.

George W. Bush versus The U.S. Constitution (05 Oct 2006)
Chicago Academy Publishers has just released a book version of my Report on Bush Administration abuses, which they have entitled George W. Bush versus the U.S. Constitution. The blockbuster book is nearly one year in the making and more than 280 pages, including an introduction by Ambassador Joe Wilson. In only 33 days we will experience the most important election of my lifetime. We can continue down the same path of abusive one-party rule, or we can vote for change and accountability. For the last two years, from the election debacle in Ohio, the Downing Street Memos revelations, the shame of Abu Ghraib, the smearing of Valerie Plame, disclosures of illegal domestic spying, and more, I have heard your concerns and done everything within my power to expose the wrongdoing, deceptions, and power grabs in Washington. Help Me Help Democrats Retake the House. Now I need your support to help the Democrats retake the House. This is our best opportunity in the last 12 years, and I firmly believe that if we have the resources to combat the GOP spin and attack machines we will be victorious in November. Please donate to my campaign and you can also receive a complimentary signed copy of the edited version of the George W. Bush versus the U.S. Constitution book or a "John Conyers is My Congressman" bumper sticker. Thank you. Your Friend, John Conyers, Jr. -- Recommended by

Military Commissions Act Shames the Constitution and Weakens America
Stephen Rohde writes: "The Military Commission Act is breathtaking in its denial of fundamental rights under the Constitution and international law. The law re-establishes virtually intact President Bush's military tribunals, which were rejected by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional."

The US Enabling Act (10/01/2006)
It was an event little noted by persons other than those of us who are devoted to the American Dream of Constitutional Democracy. But it will be long remembered by the whole world, if there is a future history to record it. On Sept. 29, 2006, the Congress of the United States passed what can be termed "The US Enabling Act." It is the equivalent of the Act by the same name passed by the German Reichstag on March 23, 1933. The latter gave the German Chancellor, Adolf Hitler, the power to over-ride the protections for freedom and liberty written into the German (Weimar) Constitution of the time, if he determined that so doing was necessary to protect the nation from terrorism and "actions endangering the state." It was under that Act, of course, that Hitler established his dictatorship. CLIP

Why Does Habeas Corpus Hate America
Keith Olbermann discusses habeas corpus and examines the founding fathers' words: "'Depriving us of Trial by Jury' was actually considered sufficient cause to start a War of Independence, based on the then-fashionable idea that 'liberty' was an unalienable right."

The End of the U.S. as a Civilized Nation
The recently passed Military Commissions Act removes the United States from the ranks of civilized nations. It codifies racial and political discrimination, legalizes kidnapping and torture of those the government deems its political enemies, and eliminates habeas corpus--the ancient precept that prevents the police from arresting and holding you without cause--a basic protection common to all (other) modern legal systems, and one that dates to the Magna Carta.

Update on Padilla motion to dismiss for outrageous government conduct
In an effort to gain Mr. Padilla's "dependency and trust," he was tortured for nearly the entire three years and eight months of his unlawful detention. The torture took myriad forms, each designed to cause pain, anguish, depression and, ultimately, the loss of will to live.

655,000 Iraqis Dead Since US Invasion
Epidemiologists estimate that 655,000 more people have died in Iraq since coalition forces arrived in March 2003 than would have died if the invasion had not occurred. This is more than 20 times the estimate of 30,000 civilian deaths that President Bush gave in a speech in December.

A Last Wild Ride on the Titanic
Yesterday's report in the Washington Post that over 650,000 Iraqis have died as a result of the US-led invasion is just the latest bit of bad news to hit the Bush administration. In fact, the buzzards have been circling the White House for some time now and they won't be leaving anytime soon.

Escalating violence in Iraq prompts UN aid official to call for urgent help from leaders (11 October 2006)
The violence inside Iraq has “spiralled totally out of control,” the United Nations’ top humanitarian official said today as he appealed to the country’s religious, ethnic and other community leaders to do much more to try to stop the killings and massive displacement of people. At least 315,000 people have fled their homes in the past seven or eight months, driven by military operations or sectarian violence that has escalated since a key Shiite shrine in Samarra was bombed in February, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Jan Egeland told a press briefing in Geneva.Armed sectarian militias and death squads murder an average of 100 people every day, he added, noting that no segment of society was immune. “These are police and their recruits, these are judges, these are lawyers, these are journalists, and there are increasingly women,” he said. “And the latter group is particularly targeted for so-called honour killings… Revenge killings seem now to be totally out of control.” There are now thought to be 1.5 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) within Iraq, as well as an estimated 1.2 to 1.5 million Iraqi refugees in neighbouring countries. Each day as many as 2,000 people cross the border into Syria as the trend accelerates. CLIP

War Crimes Report Shows US Violations of International Law - Demands Prosecution of US Military and Civilian Leaders
The violence of the Iraq War, the chaos that has come to Iraq, can be traced directly to the illegality of the invasion and occupation of that country and the illegality of the tactics and weapons being used to maintain the occupation. U.S. War Crimes in Iraq and Mechanisms for Accountability documents these violations and calls on us all to demand investigation and prosecution of violations of international law by military and civilian leaders.

17 US Troops Killed in Iraq Since Saturday (Oct 4)

The Ground Truth: "A Cinematic Call to Arms"
"The Ground Truth: After the Killing Ends" takes an unflinching look at the training and dehumanization of US soldiers, and how they struggle to come to terms with it when they come back home. This film overrides familiar images of heroic soldiers in battle and their overjoyed returning faces as they reunite with their families with one effortless stroke. Instead, we see a scenario that includes illness, amputation and injury, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), of which Iraq has become a fertile breeding ground. While America's poor treatment of veterans is not news to most, "The Ground Truth" makes it so personal and real, it is impossible to dismiss its characters simply as war statistics.

Report says detainee plan would pardon U.S. officials (Sept 30)
CNN: Congressional work on tribunal hearings grants amnesty - A video report from CNN's Jack Cafferty says that buried deep within the pending plan to create military tribunals for those suspected of terrorism is amnesty for present U.S. officials. He said that President Bush "is trying to pardon himself" with the plan, which is in the last stage of congressional endorsement and next will go to the president's desk.

Vote Democratic and Always Carry a Toothbrush
Dave Lindorff writes, "Congress, with almost no discussion, has just approved a law ostensibly about authorizing military tribunals for alleged terrorists, which actually went way beyond that bad enough end run on the Constitution to include giving the president the Congressional sanction to torture captives and, as well, the power to snatch up any American citizen and declare her or him to be an 'unlawful combatant,' devoid of Constitutional rights."

The Deeper Evil Behind the Detainee Bill
Chris Floyd writes: "It was a dark hour indeed on Thursday when the United States Senate voted to end the constitutional republic and transform the country into a 'Leader-State,' giving the president and his agents the power to capture, torture and imprison forever anyone - American citizens included - whom they arbitrarily decide is an 'enemy combatant.' This also includes those who merely give 'terrorism' some kind of 'support,' defined so vaguely that many experts say it could encompass legal advice, innocent gifts to charities or even political opposition to US government policy within its draconian strictures."

The Day America Died (September 29, 2006)
Actually, our country died on December 12, 2000, when a partisan Supreme Court, instead of addressing the widespread disenfranchisement of voters, instead decided to give the presidency to George W. Bush. But the final nail in the coffin of America was hammered in yesterday, when the Senate decided to give a president who has said on at least three separate occasions that he could like to be a dictator and whose spokesman once said, "If you're not with us, you're against us" and "People should watch what they say, watch what they do" absolute and unilateral authority to decide who is an enemy of the state. Now That You Could be Labeled an Enemy Combatant... (Oct 4)
Since Congress recently handed Bush the power to identify American citizens as "unlawful enemy combatants" and detain them indefinitely without charge, it's worth examining the administration's record of prisoner abuse as well as the building of stateside detention centers. (...) In 2002, wacko former Attorney General John Ashcroft called for the indefinite detainment of US citizens he considered to be "enemy combatants," and while widely criticized at the time, Congress went ahead and fulfilled Ashcroft's nefarious vision last week. Ashcroft had also called for stateside internment camps, and accordingly, in January 2006 the US government awarded a Halliburton subsidiary $385 million to build detention centers to be used for, "an unexpected influx of immigrants or to house people after a natural disaster or for new programs that require additional detention space." New programs that require additional detention space. Hmm.The disgraceful Military Commissions Act and the building of domestic internment camps are yet more examples of blowback from the administration's so-called war on terror, and we ignore these increasing assaults on our civil liberties at our own peril.

Tenet Warned Congress in February 2001 About al-Qaeda
Jason Leopold reports that in February 2001, seven months before 9/11, George Tenet, then the director of the CIA, testified before Congress and told lawmakers that the single greatest threat to the United States was Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda network, according to a little known copy of Tenet's Congressional testimony. During his report to Congress, Tenet eerily described a scenario that seven months later would become a grim reality.

Condi Rice, 9/11 and Another Nest of Lies
William Rivers Pitt writes: "Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice may have committed perjury in her testimony before the 9/11 Commission in May of 2004. At a minimum, her testimony was a convenient mishmash of half-truths and omissions which served to paint the White House as innocent bystanders as the attacks of 9/11 unfolded."

The mystery of America (October 8, 2006)
It happens once every few months. Like a periodic visit by an especially annoying relative from overseas, Condoleezza Rice was here again. The same declarations, the same texts devoid of content, the same sycophancy, the same official aircraft heading back to where it came from. The results were also the same: Israel promised in December, after a stormy night of discussions, to open the "safe passage" between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. This time, in what was considered the "achievement" of the current visit, Israel also promised to open the Karni crossing. Karni will be open, one can assume, only slightly more than the "safe passage," which never opened following the previous futile visit. Rice has been here six times in the course of a year and a half, and what has come of it? Has anyone asked her about this? Does she ask herself? It is hard to understand how the secretary of state allows herself to be so humiliated. It is even harder to understand how the superpower she represents allows itself to act in such a hollow and useless way. The mystery of America remains unsolved: How is it that the United States is doing nothing to advance a solution to the most dangerous and lengthiest conflict in our world? How is it that the world's only superpower, which has the power to quickly facilitate a solution, does not lift a finger to promote it? CLIP

A Rush to Medicate Young Minds
I have been treating, educating and caring for children for more than 30 years, half of that time as a child psychiatrist, and the changes I have seen in the practice of child psychiatry are shocking. Psychiatrists are now misdiagnosing and overmedicating children for ordinary defiance and misbehavior. The temper tantrums of belligerent children are increasingly being characterized as psychiatric illnesses. Using such diagnoses as bipolar disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Asperger's, doctors are justifying the sedation of difficult kids with powerful psychiatric drugs that may have serious, permanent or even lethal side effects. There has been a staggering jump in the percentage of children diagnosed with a mental illness and treated with psychiatric medications. (...) According to psychiatrist Jennifer Harris, quoted in the January/February issue of Psychotherapy Networker, "Many clinicians find it easier to tell parents their child has a brain-based disorder than to suggest parenting changes." Parents and teachers today seem to believe that any boy who wriggles in his seat and willfully defies his teacher's rules has ADHD. Likewise, any child who has a temper tantrum is diagnosed with bipolar disorder. After all, an anger outburst is how most parents define a "mood swing." Contributing to this widespread problem of misdiagnosis is the doctor's willingness to accept, without question, the assessment offered by a parent or teacher. What was once a somber, heart-wrenching decision for a parent and something children often resisted -- medicating a child's mind -- has now become a widely used technique in parenting a belligerent child. As if they were debating parental locks on the home computer or whether to allow a co-ed sleepover, parents now share notes with each other about whose child is taking what pill for which diagnosis. These days parents cruise the Internet, take self-administered surveys, diagnose their children and choose a medication before they ever set foot in the psychiatrist's office. If the first doctor doesn't prescribe what you want, the next one will. CLIP

Note from Jean: There is so much difficult information to consider in this compilation that I feel it is essential, before you go any further into this, that you take a couple minutes to read this quite IMPORTANT message channeled through Mike Quinsey and kindly recommended to my attention by Florence Chapgier - It will add a measure of balance to the rest...

Diane - 10 October 2006

The times you are in at present are a far cry from those more spiritual periods in your past, when many of you were aware of the truth. Cycles have always allowed for both the dark and Light to hold a prominent and leading position. You will however find that neither can hold it indefinitely, and each is allowed to challenge the other. Without that allowance there would be little spiritual growth, whereas even in your present experience you have grown whilst they have been in opposition to each other.

The result is that every opportunity is given for spiritual understanding and enlightenment. Clearly there must ultimately be a point reached where one has to concede to the other. That time is rapidly approaching and although it may not be apparent to many of you, the Light is embracing more people than ever before and they are responding to it. This in turn brings even more Light to bear upon those enmeshed with the dark forces, and they are finding themselves unable to maintain their position.

It is both fortuitous and ironic that those who choose to create chaos for others, are now themselves under so much pressure that they are losing their hold. When an edifice starts to crumble, at first it is very slight and hardly noticeable. However, in the course of time cracks appear elsewhere and suddenly with little warning it completely collapses. Your dark forces are close to such a collapse, and we would ask you to be alert and you will sense when it is about to happen. We have often given you clear indications that the changes would come quickly, so allow for our depth of knowledge to be able to advise you as to what is happening on Earth.

We have been instrumental in stopping an escalation of the Middle East War much to the chagrin of those who have planned it. We are the invisible forces that serve the Light, and often there is no outer indication of our activities. This is very disconcerting for the dark that are sometimes at their wits end in knowing how to deal with us. Of course you frequently see our craft in your skies, and it serves a dual purpose by letting you know of our benign presence, and also signals to the dark that we can come and go with impunity.

We are very active dealing with conditions on Earth that threaten your very existence. Have no fear, as we are used to holding the balance for you. If we were authorized to do so, we would dearly love to bring the dark forces to heel, but what has been put into being must also be cleared with your participation and not just simply ours alone.

The greater meaning to life is one of experiencing that which adds to your spiritual growth. Even as an outsider learning of other peoples problems, you are expanding your understanding about it. You subconsciously "sort" out what goes into it, and from it you are continually shifting your position. You will only need to look back some 20 years or so, and if you are a seeker of the truth you will surely recognize that you have changed.

Keeping an open mind and being prepared to question your present day understanding, is the key to ensuring that you continue to evolve. Do not necessarily be influenced by others regardless of what position they hold. Be prepared to weigh up what is presented to you, and intuitively take that which adds to your knowledge. Your truth may be following a different course to someone else's, so do not feel that you are a lesser Being if you cannot fully accept their teaching. It is so important that you take responsibility for your own beliefs and understanding, and realize that you are all unique.

There is but the one Truth, and finding it seems to cause many of you so much soul searching. Take one step at the time, and all will eventually fall into place. Deep within, each of you hold the truth and you are constantly revealing it to yourself. Over eons of time you have simply lost touch with your Higher Selves, as the dark vibration has often reduced your glorious Light to just a flicker. However, know that your Light is indestructible and is your assurance of infinite life.

One day soon you shall clearly understand the journey through duality, and when you do so none of the heartache and sadness that you experienced will remain. It will all eventually seem as a mere moment in time, and that you have never really left the higher dimensions at all. In them your whole demeanor will be different to the way you view things at present. There is no place for negative vibrations, and indeed you cannot go forward with them. This is why you are presently spending much of your time dealing with karmic responsibilities.

As a background to what is happening the great forces of Light are amassed all around you, and will play their part in ensuring that the Creator's plan for these end times is fulfilled. How can anyone doubt that the Light will be successful when such powerful Beings hold your future in their hands. It just seems at times that the dark have a free hand to do what they like, and this may indeed be how they view their actions. Be assured that it is not the case, and there are many limitations placed upon them.

This period of intense and dramatic happenings all over your world is the last attempt of the dark forces to take control. They will not succeed and as they overreach themselves in desperation, they will lay down the very opportunities that will present the Light with their chance to remove them. Little can move forward whilst the Illuminati and their minions hold positions of power. This is why their removal is of vital importance, and why the plans that will follow on are fully ready. Once the initial changes have taken place you will find matters speeding ahead.

The Lightworkers and all of those in anyway actively connected with the coming period, are accompanied by many Guides who surround you with love. They inspire you to forge ahead, and most importantly fulfill your life plans and your commitment to bringing Light to Earth. For many this lifetime is the culmination of many previous ones that have prepared you precisely for this most important time. Ascension is your goal and failure is not an option for those who have prepared to travel the full path to success. Be assured that if you have aspired to ascend at the completion of this cycle, you will do so. Once that decision has been made, you are effectively already there. Remember that Ascension takes place on many levels, and it is not just your solar system that is involved, but also your Universe.

You will have noticed that the Earth is relatively quiet at present, but again this is largely due to our presence and efforts to dampen down the likelihood of a major incident. To some extent you are also instrumental in shaping the outcome, as your collective consciousness provides an energy that can trigger events. With so much negativity upon Earth the balance is very fine between the dark and Light. To your credit, the Light is expanding and it will continue to do so, thus guaranteeing your victory.

I am Diane of the Galactic Federation, and wish you to know that we are ready to reveal ourselves, once the correct and agreed approach has been made to those who considered to be worthy of their appointment to positions of leadership. Once they are in place, we know that we will receive the authorization needed to go ahead with a multitude of changes. These will ensure that the promises made to you will be kept, and we shall fully cooperate together in the knowledge of the Creator's plan for you all.

Dear Ones, I assure you we are in full realization of your predicaments, but be patient in the knowing that your destiny is a pathway amongst the stars which are your true home. The Earth has served you well and your appreciation of what Mother Earth has done for you, will be shown by your willingness to ensure that the Earth is fully restored so that she may ascend with you. There really is a Universal Love that enfolds you, which we hold in our hearts for you all. Go about your work with the assurance of ones who know your lighted path is beckoning to you now, and that the portal is opening to the marvels, happiness and joy of the Golden Age.

Thank you Diane.

The Netroots Hit Their Limits

Liberal online activists are finding you can't move elections with just modems and IM

Sep. 24, 2006

You've heard the story: the Netroots, the Democratic Party's equivalent of a punk garage band--edgy, loud and antiauthoritarian--are suddenly on the verge of the big time. The gang of liberal bloggers and online activists who helped raise millions of dollars for Howard Dean's presidential campaign two years ago are now said to be Democratic kingmakers. Last month in Connecticut, they fanned anti-incumbent and antiwar flames and were widely credited with the primary defeat of Senator Joe Lieberman, leading him to run as an independent. After they relentlessly derided Senator Hillary Clinton as calculating, overly cautious and lacking true liberal bona fides, she hired an adviser just to deal with them and even demanded that Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld resign. Coincidence? Moderate Democrats say it with remorse, conservatives with glee, but the conventional wisdom is bipartisan: progressive bloggers are pushing the Democratic Party so far to the left that it will have no chance of capturing the presidency in 2008.

Or maybe the Netroots aren't all that. Make no mistake, these online activists are having a profound impact on the Democrats and on politics in general. But the phenomenon is in its infancy. Compared with established interest groups like organized labor and conservative Christians, the Netroots play a small role in national politics. Even their most ardent players now recognize that you can't create a true movement using nothing but modems and instant messaging. "The Netroots cannot elect someone alone," says Matt Stoller, a blogger at the popular group site MyDD.

So they're branching out. Beyond posting exhaustive pieces about bias in Fox News coverage and uploading videos of presidential wannabe George Allen making a fool of himself, they're adopting the old-school tools of electoral politics, like canvassing their neighborhoods and calling their member of Congress. They're getting nitty-gritty in their focus too. The liberal online fund-raising group ActBlue, for instance, is trying to get activists to donate serious money to state-legislature campaigns that bloggers once considered too unsexy to care about. The goal is to put Democrats in control of state governments, where many key decisions are made.

The Netroots phenomenon began in 1998 when two Silicon Valley entrepreneurs circulated an online petition demanding that Congress, in their phrase, "move on"--that is, stop trying to impeach President Clinton. Thus was born which now has 3.2 million members. Most of the bloggers who have become Netroots leaders can trace their influence back only a couple of years, to 2003 and '04, when the growth of partisan liberal online activism was spurred by a strain of antiwar, anti-Bush fervor and frustration with congressional Democrats for not standing up to the President. Blogs like Daily Kos and MyDD grew rapidly. Today their combined readership (more than a million people weekly) dwarfs that of the dead-tree versions of established purveyors of liberal thought like the New Republic, which has a print circulation of about 62,000. The conservative Rightroots movement is only just getting started.

Because the Netroots are bound by a medium and not by geography, they have been able to nationalize fund raising for congressional and Senate races more effectively than other groups of their size and relative inexperience. They are also the liberal rival to conservative "noise machines" like the online Drudge Report and talk-radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh. When Allen called an opponent's political operative by the racial slur macaca at a recent rally, the blogs touted the video, and the incident became a national story, contributing to a troubled campaign that has shrunk Allen's lead in his Senate race from double digits to 3 points.

Yet a coarse estimate of the Netroots' numbers shows them to be something less than a groundswell. The readership of the largest liberal blogs and the membership of MoveOn suggest that the Netroots could total 6 million people, and that assumes blog audiences don't overlap, which they do. That's only a small fraction of even the Democrats in the U.S., who number more than 70 million. While 5 million people can elect the Governor of California, the Netroots are dispersed all over the country. Even in Connecticut, one of the most liberal states, Ned Lamont, Lieberman's primary nemesis, couldn't rely on just the Netroots to get him elected. MoveOn has 50,000 members in the state; Lamont got 146,000 votes to win the Democratic nomination. Netroot strength is even less potent in a general election, as Lamont is discovering; he trails an independent Lieberman in the polls.

When it comes to money, the bloggers are still playing with Monopoly dollars compared with groups like Emily's List and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The top several liberal blogs together have raised about $1.2 million over the past year, which isn't enough in most districts to run a successful congressional campaign. To be sure, MoveOn has more money; it plans to spend $25 million this election cycle, targeting 40 key congressional races with television ads and a get-out-the-vote operation.

No one recognizes the Netroots' limits more than the activists themselves, which is why they are changing their tactics. First of all, they're becoming pragmatic about policy goals. There's little demand from the Netroots for Democrats to support gay marriage, for example, even though 91% of the people who gave money to or worked on Dean's campaign back it, according to a 2005 Pew poll. "We're not asking anyone to commit political suicide," says Eli Pariser, executive director of MoveOn. If the Democrats win the House, it will be on the strength of moderate candidates in places like Indiana, many of whom don't support one of MoveOn's top priorities, a timetable for withdrawal of troops from Iraq. And the bloggers are actively supporting and giving money to many of these more centrist candidates. Virginia Senate candidate Jim Webb was encouraged to run and has received more than $280,000 from the Netroots, even though he served in the Reagan Administration as Navy Secretary and was a Republican until recently.

What's more, the Netroots are, paradoxically, attempting to maximize their effectiveness by going off-line. MoveOn is organizing its members to make a combined 5 million phone calls before Election Day, asking people to vote for Democrats. Markos Moulitsas, who runs Daily Kos, is talking about building real, bricks-and-mortar gathering halls where progressives can meet and organize political activities in person. Jane Hamsher, who runs the piquant online hangout Firedoglake, and other bloggers have started the "roots project," in which they employ nonweb political tactics like writing letters to the editors of their local newspapers. "We can hammer the New York Times and the Washington Post forever," Hamsher said, but "candidates are more influenced by what we're doing in their own backyards."

Even with these changes, the Netroots won't be kingmakers. The fact is, day-to-day campaigning in 2006 is not very different from how it was in 1996: candidates call a few very rich people to ask them to give money so the campaign can run ads on television and hope soccer moms catch them between cooking dinner and driving to practice. If the Democrats win in the fall elections, the roots of that victory will not be on the Net.

Subject: A quiet revolution - Control and influence

Dear Jean and all concerned,

Articles such as the one you have included reflect the power of the “control matrix” to continue to herd the populace into structures and processes under their control. Most of these so-called “Net-roots” are dominated by coordinated forces who serve the status quo under the guise of superficial “liberal” Democratic Party “alternatives”. Those not organizationally controlled are easily manipulated through the control over language and control over what gets discussed and terms of discussion. In turn, those who are more naïve are easily carried along by the process and their potential energy for genuine change effectively siphoned off or mis-directed. This is partly done with the active complicity of many seemingly “well-intentioned” individuals – some who ought to know better and others who are simply too naïve.

Their immediate goal is to maintain social control and order within one of the preferred headquarter countries for the NWO elite. After all they do want too much open unrest in their temporary backyard, it would force them to implement more draconian measures against the US populace.

In the case of the U.S it is the Janus-faced two-party “pinball machine” and sophisticated manipulation of the voting process and the mind-dulling mantra of “terrorism”.  Millions of dollars have gone to fund consultants, progressive-left gatekeepers”, so-called “independent” Internet “alternatives”, “alternative” media mouthpieces, various political operatives, pop-culture groups, ad nauseum, all for the singular purpose of maintaining the grip of the power elites over the traditional  mechanisms of social control in the US. Their knowledge and reach is vast and well-organized. They think trans-generationally, not just short term.  In contrast, those who are honestly spiritually-progressive in their outlook lack the resources, lack the capacity for cooperation, lack the big-picture strategic perspective of those they so righteously decry. I say this not out of negativity, but out of the need to speak honestly and plainly of what I see. A Mayan prophet, Carlos Barrios, has said as much over recent years.

Those rare individuals on the Internet who are speaking the truth are primarily focused in exposure and opposition, even rarer are those putting forth strategies for something entirely new.  Some who are speaking the truth about the NWO do so with too much hatred to have room for creating something new and beautiful in the world.

So this is not about the Internet or not. This is not about the Democratic Party or not. This is not about liberal or not. These are all simplistic formulations that in their infinite variations serve to control thoughts and actions.

There is little point in “pressuring” the Democratic Party or certain elected individuals – at the most the result will be twisted lip-service made to look like there was an effective response. Also, it is simply not a good use of energy. So the D Party might adopt a few loosely worded statements. Nothing would change, however.

Our energies must be focused on creating something new that will serve as a transition -- from the corruption and decrepitude of the old paradigm and social order – with new parallel structures and processes that can at times challenge the powers that be, but most importantly, that will quietly work and grow and nourish all those people who have a thirst for living a new life. As the old order structures increasingly breakdown on many fronts, it will be these pockets and zones of community and light that will help magnetize more people. This is a quiet “revolution”. To focus what meager energies there are in opposing the powers-that-be would generally dissipate in a wasteful and discouraging manner. One must carefully pick the terms of engagement and then only when necessary.

Until there are new virtual (and actual) centers of new leadership in the world, those humans who work in league with the greater dark forces will continue to run their wars, exploit and oppress countless millions, etc. Civil strife will be the natural mass response and that is likely to lead to harsh repressive measures. As you know I continue to maintain that the USA still has and can play an extraordinary role in helping to transform the world. This is predicated on a new leadership and social movement – this “window” of opportunity is closing fast.  However, such a positive change cannot happen without new leaders – both mass movement leaders as well as elected ones. Where are the new leaders? How are they being developed and assisted? In the US there are way too few individuals who could run for elected office and who are capable of envisioning anything beyond the current paradigm. This is true at all levels from local to national. The higher the office, the more it is controlled by the dark of course. I am sorry to say, that without an agency such as the GIC to help develop and sustain new leaders, it is highly unlikely that a new leadership will emerge in any time soon. I would say it would take a few years at least.

Clearly there needs to be new leaders prepared simultaneous with a new social movement -- new structures and processes must be created. At first the strength will be at more localized levels reaching to state-office. For those rare few individuals who hold elected national and state office, they will need to periodically pass some sort of basic “litmus test” in terms of their positions on key points of global concern (see forthcoming article on “litmus test”).  It is clear today that the vast majority of the Senate and House are either bought off financially, bought off politically, blackmailed into submission somehow, or are morally or ethically corrupt people who are rabidly enthusiastic about the NWO worldview.  So a combination of sub-regionalism and networking with others around the world will be of great importance while global communication capabilities still exist.

We (those genuinely focused on ushering in an awakened humanity) need to look ahead (think future-present) and apply certain new-paradigm principles and energy to the present situation and create new transitional structures and process that will help facilitate more enlightened society. This has been the focus of our work for several years. We offer serious strategic approaches to those who are ready to engage relative to social, political, and economic fronts.

I am not “pushing” GIC as something of “ours” -- it is a planned model ready to be implemented. However it is based on the fortuitous use of some very serious human and financial resources, decades of experience in many facets of society, some heavy-duty research and planning, and much more. This project is something much bigger than just another good idea floating out there, or someone’s proprietary “product”.  As a coordinated entity, GIC would far exceed the reach and influence of the various entities in consulting, Internet, and political operations that, over in recent years, received many millions of dollars from a few well-coordinated sources for the sole purpose of steering a significant portion of the US public back to the dark control matrix represented by the Dem-Rep “pinball machine”.

It is our gift for those who are ready to make this happen. We have expended substantial financial and human resources over several years listening very deeply to many leaders and organizations to understand why there is such a lack of synergy and cooperation and to address what processes and material structures would help bring to fore of humanity a new leadership that is aligned with enlightened and more evolved society. We had years of meetings with many leaders and would-be leaders, and applied all our experience in info tech, politics, business, spirituality, organizational models, etc . The result was the GIC -- our answer in the 3-D world to the urgently painful need for a genuine alternative that is 110% dedicated to facilitating (I use facilitate in its most thorough and profound manner) a more enlightened and compassionate society. This concept and its implementation is the most sophisticated and comprehensive proposition – and remains so to this day, to the best of our knowledge.

My support and advice is available to leaders who are stepping forward. I am sure we will have much to learn from one another.

Best to all !

Subject: Silence+Torture=Complicity in NY Times today

Yes! In the nation’s “paper of record” a FULL page (see ad below) exposing the torture bill, and telling people what to do about it. It’s p. 21 in the National Section today.

“Can’t the United States see that when we allow someone to be tortured by our agents, it is not only the victim and the perpetrator who are corrupted, not only the ‘intelligence’ that is contaminated, but also everyone who looked away and said they did not know, everyone who consented tacitly to that outrage so they could sleep a little safer at night, all the citizens who did not march in the streets by the millions to demand the resignation of whoever suggested, even whispered, that torture is inevitable in our day and age, that we must embrace its darkness?”
Ariel Dorfman, “Are We Really So Fearful?”

Your government HAS NOW CODIFIED torture. The new law does not prohibit the government from using “alternative interrogation techniques” that include sleep deprivation, extreme cold, personal degradation, waterboarding (simulated drowning), “temporary” disablement, and psychological disorientation. The new law grants George Bush the sole authority to decide what torture is. Abu Ghraib and the secret renditions were horrible. But to take the next step and write such practices into law is even worse — qualitatively worse.

Your government has officially shredded constitutional promises of basic and fundamental rights to due process — taking a huge step towards replacing the rule of law with the arbitrary rule of men. The new law will give the president the right to hold people indefinitely without charging them, and without review from the courts, nullifying habeas corpus rights. Congress has now passed legislation that denies defendants the right to see evidence used against them, and allows the use of “evidence” gained through torture. It forbids anyone to invoke the Geneva Conventions in any civil case or habeas corpus proceedings undertaken against the U.S. government, and, according to some experts, it may also forbid this in criminal cases.

Your government – which already holds over 14,000 people overseas without charges — has dramatically expanded the scope of who it can detain to include people anywhere in the world, including within the U.S. People can now be declared an “unlawful enemy combatant” simply for providing what the president decides is “material,” including financial or indirect support for hostilities against the U.S.

Your government is rewriting the law on crimes against humanity to exclude itself , incurring the contempt and hatred of people all over the planet.

Few in Congress made anything but the most token show of opposition , as leading Democrats let Bush set the agenda, staying silent when it mattered, refusing to filibuster, then voting no only when the die was cast.

This unprecedented legalization of torture is part of a package coming from the Bush regime . That package includes an atrocious, nightmarish occupation of Iraq and now the ominous threat of war against Iran. It includes an assault on critical thinking and serious motion toward a theocracy. It includes the criminal response to Hurricane Katrina. It includes a systematic attack on women’s reproductive rights, and the demonization of gay people and denial of their basic human rights. It includes the scapegoating of immigrants and severely repressive new legislation aimed at them.

And it gets worse with every passing week. As the call for The World Can’t Wait–Drive Out the Bush Regime states: “The Bush regime is setting out to radically remake society very quickly, in a fascist way, and for generations to come.” With this legalization of torture, who will now deny that? The stakes are clearly enormous.

If Not Now, When? If Not Us, Who?

THIS MUST HALT! This entire package must be repudiated, and the whole direction of this country must be reversed.

Initial Report on October 5 Protests

The following is an initial report from leaders of World Can't Wait on the October 5 protests:

Something new is rising – a movement of thousands of very diverse kinds of people from hundreds of cities and towns across the country who see the need to drive the Bush regime from power and are taking the responsibility to do it. These thousands are consciously breaking with the dominant pattern of day by day accommodating to new outrages. Many of them feel very acutely that the fate of humanity is hinging on what people living in this country do now, but this is not weighing them down. Instead, they are shaking off denial and despair and stepping into unfamiliar territory of taking history into their own hands – and they are expressing a lot of joy and determination at having connected with a nation-wide movement to drive the Bush regime from power.

On October 5 protests were held from coast to coast and beyond U.S. borders, in over 230 locations. Several thousand took to the streets in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, hundreds acted in cities such as Tucson, Portland, Atlanta, and Austin, and in many small towns and cities scores of people went to intersections, town centers, local beaches, and wherever they thought they would reach the most people with the message that: This Regime Does Not Represent Us and We Will Drive it Out.

At the same time, it is simply a fact that size of these outpourings fell far short of the numbers organizers had correctly aimed for (tens of thousands in the major cities and at least 100,000 nationwide). Reversing the momentum and direction that society is being dragged in, changing the political discourse so that driving out the regime is being debated, and creating a political situation where the Bush regime is driven from office required – and now all the more urgently requires – the political mobilization of hundreds of thousands.

There is time to do this, but not much time. The Bush regime has not slowed, but quickened its pace towards remaking the world in a fascist way that will have implications for generations and, despite the huge numbers of people who are horrified and disgusted by this direction, the vast majority of them are not yet acting on the necessity of coming out into the streets in massive numbers to reverse this. Meanwhile, the Bush regime is moving each day to close down the space in society from which an opposition to its program can be mobilized. This huge problem must be confronted, understood, and overcome very quickly through the collective struggle of the thousands who have courageously become the nucleus of this movement.

This will require deeply appreciating and building upon the very important advances that have been made in this last round as well as by understanding and overcoming the significant challenges still confronting humanity. The following observations are a contribution towards this process.

Attack On Iran Inevitable - Nuke Use In White House Plan

Air Force Colonel Sam Gardiner (ret.) says U.S. forces will assassinate Iran's leadership

Retired Air Force Colonel Sam Gardiner on the probability of air strikes on Iran and the likely consequences

09/30/06 INN World Report - Runtime of this video: 17 Minutes - a MUST WATCH!

The End of the “Summer of Diplomacy”

Sam Gardiner, Colonel, USAF (Ret.) The Century Foundation,

Targeting the Nuclear Program? Or the Regime?

Air-target planners orchestrate strikes on the basis of desired target destruction criteria. In the case of an attack on Iran, after five nights of bombing, we can be relatively certain of target destruction. It is even possible to project the degree to which parts of the Iranian nuclear program would be set back. For example, using Web pictures of the Natanz enrichment facility, it is possible to see three years worth of construction. An attack on that construction might appear to set the program back three years. But it is hard to judge. David Kay, the former top U.S. weapons inspector, observed during our discussions that there is the program we see, but there is also the program we do not see. Because of the gaps in U.S. intelligence on Iran, and specifically on Iran’s nuclear program, American military leaders are growing increasingly uneasy about the reliability and comprehensiveness of target selection.12 In other words, after the five-night military attack we would not be able with any degree of certainty to say how we had impacted the Iranian nuclear program.

If this uncertainty does not appear to worry the proponents of air strikes in Iran it is in no small part because the real U.S. policy objective is not merely to eliminate the nuclear program, but to overthrow the regime. It is hard to believe, after the misguided talk prior to Iraq of how American troops would be greeted with flowers and welcomed as liberators, but those inside and close to the administration who are arguing for an air strike against Iran actually sound as if they believe the regime in Tehran can be eliminated by air attacks.

In this case, the concept is not a ground force Thunder Run into Tehran of the sort used in Baghdad. It is a decapitation-based concept. Kill the leadership and enable the people of Iran to take over their government. More reasonable leadership will emerge.

Under this concept, the air operation would take longer than the five nights. The targets would be expanded. The Revolutionary Guard units would be attacked since according to the argument they are the primary force that keeps the current regime in power. There are other regime protection units in Tehran. Most important, the U.S. operation would move into targeted killing, seeking to eliminate the leadership of Iran.

It sounds simple. Air planners always tell a good story. By the same token, they almost always fall short of their promises, even in strictly military terms. That was true in World War II. It was true in Korea. It was true in Vietnam. It has just proved true with the Israeli attacks on Hezbollah. No serious expert on Iran believes the argument about enabling a regime change. On the contrary, whereas the presumed goal is to weaken or disable the leadership and then replace it with others who would improve relations between Iran and the United States, it is far more likely that such strikes would strengthen the clerical leadership and turn the United States into Iran’s permanent enemy.

Iran’s Response

Having demonstrated that air strikes are unlikely either to eliminate the nuclear program or to bring about the overthrow of the Islamic regime in Iran, we must now turn to what, precisely, they would achieve. It is important to remember that some of Iran’s threats, demonstrations of new weapons, and military exercises are designed to have a deterrent effect. As such we should not deduce too much about what Iran would do in the event of an attack on the basis of what it might say and do in advance of an attack. A former CIA Middle East Station Chief told me once that predicting the consequences of a strategic event in the Middle East was as difficult as predicting how an Alexander Calder mobile would come to rest after you flicked one of its hanging pieces.

It is possible, however, to identify some high probability immediate consequences.

The Iranians would likely look to target Israel as a response to a U.S. strike, using Hezbollah as the primary vehicle for retaliation. For Tehran, there is the added benefit that blaming Israel (even for a U.S. strike) would play well at home, and probably throughout the region.

Moqtada al-Sadr has said publicly that if the United States were to attack Iran, he would target U.S. forces in Iraq.

Iran could channel more individuals and weapons into Iraq. Specifically, Iran could upgrade technology among Shiite militias, with weapons like the laser-guided anti-tank missiles Hezbollah had in Lebanon. We might even see more direct operations like missile attacks against U.S. forces.

Moqtada al-Sadr controls the large Facilities Protection Service forces in Iraq. Some estimates put this force as large as 140,000. Among other missions, they guard the oil pipelines. If Iran wants to cut the flow of oil, Iraq is the best place to begin, and the means are in place to take on the mission. The impact of severing Iraq’s oil supplies would be an immediate increase in its own oil revenue.

Iran is not going to wipe Israel from the map or force the United States to leave Iraq with these operations. But in causing these various complications, Iran can still achieve a degree of success. As we recently witnessed in the clash between Hezbollah and Israel, Iran can seem stronger just by virtue of making the United States and Israel seem weaker.

Round Two

Once the nature of the Iranian retaliation becomes apparent, the United States will not likely declare success and walk away from the problem. Clearly, the pressure will be to expand the targets and punish Iran even more. The government of Iran is fragile, the thinking goes; it could even be on the verge of falling; it is time to “enable” the Iranian people. The Iranians will react with their own horizontal escalation. (See Table 2.)

Iran has been sending mixed signals about whether or not it would cut its own oil production or attempt to restrict the flow of oil from the Gulf. A strike of five nights might not push them to cut the flow of oil. But continued operations probably would. Iran does have some flexibility to do without oil revenues for a period because of surpluses from currently high oil prices. In addition, it has plans for rationing refined petroleum products that it must import.

Executing the oil option might not be limited to operations against tankers moving in and out of the Gulf. Iran has the capability, and we have seen some indications of the intent, to attack facilities of other oil providers in the region.

It would be tougher for Iran and Hezbollah to attack UN forces in Lebanon. If the UN forces were to become too aggressive in response to Hezbollah attacks against Israel, they would most likely become targets. In addition, at some point in the expanding conflict, Iran might see a value to making the war about attempts at Western domination of the region and not just about the United States and Israel. In that case, a focused attack on something like the Italian headquarters would resonate in the region.

It took a while for the nations of the region to react to the Israeli attack into Lebanon. That most likely would be the case in the event of a U.S. strike against Iran. As attacks continued and as the television coverage intensified, however, we could see something similar to the reactions to the Danish cartoons. We could see the “Arab Street” asserting itself.
Syria and Iran signed a defense agreement on June 15. Under this agreement Syrian forces would be brought into a fight if Iran were attacked. Syrian President Bashar Assad might be a reluctant participant, but as the conflict expands, he might not have a choice.

The Iranians could conduct targeted killing outside the region. They have used this tactic in the past: in 1991, Shapour Bakhtiar, the Shah’s last prime minister, was decapitated in his apartment in Paris.

Continued air strikes and demonstrations could have a compounding effect. Weak governments in the Muslim world could be threatened. The governments of Pakistan, Jordan, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia are vulnerable.

As an obvious consequence of the instability resulting from a U.S. strike, the price of oil almost certainly will spike. The impact will depend on how high and how long. The longer the conflict goes, the higher the price. A former Kuwaiti oil minister privately suggested a plateau of $125 per barrel. Confidential analysis by a major European bank suggests it would level off at $130, and a very conservative estimate would be over $200.

With prices surging to this level, third order consequences become apparent. The most obvious would be a global, synchronized recession, intensified by the existing U.S. trade and fiscal imbalances. Another political consequence would be that oil exporting countries outside the region would enjoy significant surges in revenue from higher prices. As a result, countries such as Venezuela and Russia would enjoy expanded influence while the West would be reeling from recession.

I should note that in the preceding discussion of the cycle of action and reaction, I have not mentioned large U.S. ground unit formations. That is because I do not believe we will come to a point where that option will make sense to policymakers. This is the one lesson the administration seems to have learned from Iraq—occupation does not work. And that realization brings us back to why the air strike option has been so attractive to the administration from the beginning.

Fear the Penis

Thank God for Mark Foley.

It proves that the American people still care about something.

It happens to be penises. But still.

They care about who talks about them, who plays with them, who covers them up, who uncovers them, who covers up the uncovering of them.

Even Jon Stewart put the big penis cover-up ahead of the fact that this government just passed a law that says that George Bush can say, "Hey you, you're an enemy combatant, "and once he says that they can whisk you away.

This is literally true. It's like that joke in the first grade.

Make me a milkshake

Poof: You're a milkshake

If George Bush says: you're an enemy combatant. Poof! You are one. And then they can take you to Guantanamo, do not pass go, do not call your attorney, do not see a judge, do not hear the charges against you, go straight to the cage they want to put you in. The cage comes with lights that stay on 24 hours a day and wake-up calls every fifteen minutes so you never get to sleep and special exercise programs where you stand for hours in 'stress' positions, upward screaming cat, squatting tortured turtle, and other light abuses that used to be quaintly prohibited by the Geneva Conventions.

Today's joke:

Q: What do Americans do after they commit war crimes?

A: They pass a law that says they can't be prosecuted for committing war crimes.

If you don't find that funny, if you actually think that's serious, then ask you come nobody else does. How come CNN doesn't care, NBC, the NY Times? How come the Democratic leadership doesn't care?

How did that that bill - that contains all those provisions and more - get passed without a filibuster? Without a fuss?

Thank God for Mark Foley. An old congressman hitting on teenage boys, that's real news.

I was watching CNN yesterday afternoon. It was All Penis, All the Time.

Here's a quote, from one of their reporters, "One question always rises to the top: 'who knew what, and when did they know it?'"

That's true, but only when it has to do with a penis.

Last week Bob Woodward's new book came out. One of the things he revealed was an additional meeting between the head of the CIA and Condoleeza Rice, back in July 2001, in which they tried to shock her, shake her up in doing something about terrorism.

That meeting is important for several reasons.

The fact that she didn't do anything about it led to the deaths of at least 3,000 people. Call me me crazy, call me irresponsible, but that seems more important than an old queen hitting on young teens.

That meeting was kept secret from the 9/11 Commission, congress and the American people. There's no security reason for it to be secret. Only a political one. Proof, once again, that 9/11 happened because the Bush Administration was asleep at the wheel.

When the book came out, Rice denied the meeting had happened. She flat out lied about it.

Documents proved it took place.

I don't see CNN, or anybody else, hounding the White House about Condoleeza Rice's cover up and her lies.

"One question always rises to the top: who knew what and when did they know it?"

Yeah, when the warnings are about the use of a penis. But not when the warnings are about a terrorist attack on New York.

The Rice lie and cover-up is not insignificant. It's not ancient history. Because the whole point of Woodward's book is that it's still going on. The real experts are still warning the Bush administration that their policies - and lack of policies - are deadly disasters. Costing lives, costing money, creating enemies, with no chance of success. The president is still putting his fingers in his ears and not hearing them. His spokespeople are continuing to pretend the information doesn't exist and lying, by omission and commission, to congress and the American people.

Even if we concede that obscene instant messages are a greater danger to the Republic than a military quagmire that we entered into based on deliberate lies, the danger from Mark Foley is done. The danger from additional congressman trolling for young stuff, if there are any, is easily met (A War on Congress, does have a certain appeal and would be vastly cheaper than the War on Terror). But the war in Iraq, and the war in Afghanistan, go on and on and on, like toxic Energizer Bunnies killing and maiming, laying waste to the landscape and breeding virulent new strains of violent jihadists.

A few years ago, there was a play- still around - called the Vagina Monologues.

American politics, at the same time, turned into the Penis Monologues.

Anything else, in between penises, is just marking time. Fail to get bin Laden, who cares? Discover proof that the administration made up stories so they could have their war in Iraq, no big deal, not even news, according to the NY Times. Best estimate is that US bombs and artillery killed 100,000 Iraqi civilians, it would be rude to mention it. Then there's all that money that disappeared. Paul Bremer blew through twenty billion (yes, Billion) dollars that was supposed to be held in trust for the Iraqi people and there's no records and nothing to show for it. After that was gone, the occupation authorities blew through another twenty billion that was supposed to go for the reconstruction of Iraq. Let's not ask where the money went - no major media outlet has.

If you're in the cable news business, you're happy. This is the first really good penis since Bill's.

If you're anti-Republican, there's another bit of good news. The Republican's are slipping. It took Dennis Hastert a full week before he remembered to blame Bill Clinton.

Let me close with this. Advice to the youth of our country.

Dear youth; if you have dreams of going into politics, you should be fearless. Do not fear committing war crimes. Do not fear lying about terrorist warnings. Do not fear losing billions of dollars or reconstructions that never happen. But if you have a penis - whether you're a man or a woman - leave your penis at home, before you venture forth to do battle in the field of America's political wars.

The Real Foley Scandal is Much Bigger than Foley

By Dave Lindorff

01/04/06 --Information Clearing House -- It's a sad commentary on the state of American democracy, on the instincts of the American citizenry, and on the standards and judgement of the American newsmedia that the unsavory advances of a pathetic Florida congressman can have the nation in high dudgeon, while the ramming through of a patently illegal piece of legislation undermining a crucial 13th century civil liberty (habeas corpus), and the Fourth and Eithth Amendments of the constitution, and the secret planning for an illegal and catastrophic attack on Iran, both merit almost no complaint or mention.

Far be it from me to complain if Rep. Mark Foley's sexual obsession with teenage boys ends up sinking Republican hopes for hanging onto the House and Senate. But how sad that it would be if it is this, and the coverup of his crimes by the Republican leadership, that undoes the Bush administration, when its real crimes are of such grandeur and seriousness?

How are we to compare seeking to screw an underage youth with totally screwing the Constitution? How are we to compare secret email solicitations with a secret plot to attack a nation of 62 million that poses no immediate threat to the U.S.?

How are we to compare the Republican Party's cover-up of a member's efforts to corrupt young pages with the same party's conspiracy to cover up the Bush administration's ineptness and possible foreknowledge of the 9-11 attacks, and of the campaign of lies and misinformation it used to drum up hysteria for an illegal and totally unwarranted invasion of Iraq?

How are we to compare the media feeding frenzy over the Foley scandal with the profound silence about Bush's Iran invasion planning, and with the deliberate brownout about information regarding a growing popular movement to impeach the president for his crimes?

And finally, how to we to compare the public revulsion over Foley's indiscretions with the widespread acceptance or, or even support for abuse of American captives in the War in Afghanistan, the Iraq War, and the so-called "War" on Terror, which has included rape, sodomy, sexual humiliation and torture of all kinds, and murder--especially when it is known that the vast majority of those captives were either guilty of nothing but being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or of simply being honest fighters for their respective countries, deserving of decent treatment under the Geneva Convention, and of a fair hearing into the propriety of their detention?

What kind of nation have we become?

At least the Foley saga makes it clear why the farcical impeachment of Bill Clinton for his extramarital escapade moved forward through the House to a Senate trial, while George Bush, whose crimes far exceed those of any president before him, including Richard Nixon, and place the whole American experiment in jeopardy, has not even faced censure, much less a bill of impeachment.

Democratic Congressional leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should be ashamed of themselves for leaping so boldly to the attack over Foley's crime and the Republican leadership's cover-up, while continuing to assert that there will be no effort to impeach the president for his own crimes even if they manage, with Foley's assistance, to wrest control of the House November 8.

The American media should be ashamed of themselves for wallowing in swill, when there is a cancer in the White House that is attacking the very foundations of the nation.

The American public should be ashamed for its sheer inanity and inattention to the responsibilities of citizenship.

Hello all ...

For more than a decade I have been exposing the horrific abuse of children by some of the world's most famous people and I know that many have thought I have been exaggerating the scale of what is going on.
If only.

I understand the reaction because it sounds so fantastic compared with the daily experience of the overwhelming majority, but when you research the background to world events and their perpetrators you get used to the merely fantastic. Nothing prepares you for what lies under the stone.

We need to avoid the trap of judging what others will do on the basis of what we would do. The two are not the same. The dark side of the stone is a realm of evil where anything goes.

The sexual abuse of children is absolutely rife within the political and religious establishment and, with the system protecting its own, it is only rarely that the public have even a glimpse of the dark, dark world peopled by those who claim the right to govern and dictate religious belief.

In the last ten days a sex scandal has erupted in Washington with the resignation of Republican Representative, Mark Foley, who made sexual advances to a 16-year-old boy in email exchanges (the latest of many). And a BBC Panorama documentary has detailed the abuse of children by Roman Catholic clergy and its cover-up by the church hierarchy - including Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger before he became Pope Benedict XVI.

The Roman Church: Children should be obscene, but not heard

Panorama revealed what anyone who has studied the Roman Catholic Church already knows. Even when paedophile priests are identified, the concern is not for the child victims, but how to cover-up the abuse and protect the 'reputation' - the gravy train - of this sick institution. If that means further abusing and intimidating the children to keep them quiet, which it does, then so be it.

The scale of paedophilia within the Church is mirrored in politics. From the earliest years of my research into the global elite and their network within politics, business, media, military and religion, it was clear that paedophilia was a common thread - see The Biggest Secret.

For some reason, child sexual abuse is far more prevalent among the establishment 'elite' than in the general population.

Former Nebraska state senator, John W. DeCamp, exposed the paedophile ring run in Omaha by Republican Party bigwig, Lawrence King, who was jailed for financial corruption, but not for supplying children for the rich and famous, including father George Bush. Instead, the children, by then young adults, were intimidated or jailed for telling their story.

In 1989, the Washington Times also exposed a paedophile network supplying children to the Washington establishment, which included underage male prostitutes, or 'call boys', being given midnight tours of the father Bush/Reagan White House.

Washington journalist, Wayne Madsen, says he was told by one of the chief investigators that a teenage prostitute noticed damage to the underside of a cornice in one of the bedrooms in the private quarters of the White House during an overnight stay. A White House source later confirmed the damage, which could only be seen when lying on the bed.

This paedophile network was run by Craig J. Spence, an associate of Lawrence King, and a former ABC news reporter in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Spence, who became a registered lobbyist for Japan, hosted huge parties for 'U.S. military officers, businessmen, lawyers, bankers, congressional aides, media representatives and other professionals' at which underage male prostitutes were supplied.

In one interview, Spence said:

'How do you think a little faggot like me moved in the circles I did? It's because I had contacts at the highest levels of government. They'll deny it, but how do they make me go away when so many have been at my house, at my parties and at my side?'

Spence was arrested on cocaine and gun charges and then, in November 1989, he was found dead in his Boston hotel room, fully clothed in tuxedo and bow tie, and with no sign of injury. Verdict: 'suicide'.

Similar stories threaten to come to light in the wake of the Mark Foley scandal, which has triggered what some are calling 'Pagegate'. The United States Congress employs young people as 'pages' who act as messengers and do administrative work. They are high-school juniors who must be nominated by their Congressional representative or Senator and the 16-year-old who attracted the attention of Representative Foley was a page.

House Speaker Dennis Hastert and other well known Washington names are embroiled in the scandal and desperately hoping it blows over like the ones highlighted in the late 1980s by the Washington Times and in the 1990s by John W. DeCamp.

The latter was suppressed by the intimidation and jailing of the young witnesses and included the blatant and outrageous banning of a television documentary exposing the Lawrence King paedophile ring in Nebraska and the procurement of children for the American establishment.

The programme was made by Britain's Yorkshire Television and was due to be broadcast in America on the Discovery Channel. It was inspired by DeCamp's book, The Franklin Cover-up, which exposed Lawrence King and co. DeCamp said of the programme:

'They spent many months in Nebraska, and also travelled this country from one end to the other, interviewing, filming, and documenting piece-by-piece the Franklin story as I had told it in the book. They spent somewhere between a quarter-million and one-half million dollars investigating the story, deploying probably a thousand times the resources and abilities that I personally had.

Over the year that I worked with them, I was amazed at the team's ability to gather new documents and witnesses which kept opening up new and frightening facts about Franklin. They were a crack team. In the final weeks that they were in Nebraska, they expressed their certainty that they would win awards for this documented horror story of government-sanctioned abuse of children; and government protection of some of this country's most powerful businessmen and politicians, who had been the chief acts in the Franklin story.'

But the programme has never been shown. Conspiracy of Silence was supposed to air on May 3rd, 1994, and had been advertised in TV Guide and newspapers, but suddenly it was pulled without explanation. It was two years later that DeCamp began to understand what had happened:

'During the several months that the documentary was being prepared and advertised for showing, major legislation impacting the entire future of the Cable TV industry was being debated on Capitol Hill. Legislation, which the industry opposed, was under debate for placing controls on the industry and the contents of what could be shown.

Messages were delivered in no uncertain terms from key politicians involved in the Cable TV battle, that if the Conspiracy of Silence were shown on the Discovery Channel as planned, then the industry would probably lose the debate.

An agreement was reached: Conspiracy of Silence was pulled, and with no rights for sale or broadcast by any other program; Yorkshire TV would be reimbursed for the costs of production, the Discovery Channel itself would never be linked to the documentary; and copies of Conspiracy of Silence would be destroyed.'

Fortunately, someone on the inside made copies and there is a link to watch the programme at the end of this article.

But you can see from what happened to Conspiracy of Silence, and those abused young people, that the highest levels of political power were involved in the cover-up. Why? Because the number of paedophiles in the major offices of government in the United States, and in Britain and elsewhere, is simply astonishing.

Father George Bush may be the best known establishment paedophile, but he is one among so many.

The attempted cover-up of the present scandal - or rather the continuation of the same one - is well underway. Washington investigative journalist, Wayne Madsen, says that his Congressional sources report that the Republican Party leadership knew of Mark Foley's 'improper communications' with pages for years and did nothing. But why would they when many of them would have been doing the same?

Other reports and revelations have confirmed the accuracy of Madsen's sources.

Mark Foley... iceberg and tip come to mind

Madsen writes that after Foley's resignation, his House office, computer, and files were under the control of the House Clerk's Office, a position of Republican political patronage, and not the police. 'The House Clerk is also a member of the House Page Board, which was supposedly aware of Foley's page issue for at least the past 11 months,' says Madsen. The Capitol Police eventually took control of Foley's office and computer records, but the House Sergeant-at-Arms, currently appointed by the Republican Party, is responsible for the Capitol Police as a member of the Capitol Police Board - and he is also a member of the House Page Board which, yes, was supposedly aware of Foley's attraction to pages for at least the past 11 months.

The establishment can weave a web to put a spider to shame.

The House Republican leadership now being accused of the Foley cover-up includes members of the House Page Board - Representatives John Shimkus of Illinois and Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia; House Speaker Dennis Hastert; Majority Leader John Boehner; Majority Whip Roy Blunt; and Republican Congressional Campaign Committee chairman Tom Reynolds. The latter was reported to have received $100,000 from Foley campaign funds after he was first told of the sexual e-mail correspondence.

It also makes sense when you understand the interconnections why Wayne Madsen's sources should indicate links between Republican 'lawmakers' and John Mark Karr, the former school teacher who was arrested in Thailand and deported to the United States after he claimed to have killed six-year old Jon Benet Ramsey at her home in Boulder, Colorado in 1996. He was cleared by DNA evidence, so why did he admit to a crime he did not commit?

Apparently, a US Intelligence source revealed that the 'high degree of interest' shown in Karr by the Department of Homeland Security and intelligence officials - including sending a CIA officer to Bangkok - was because Karr knew of leading American government and political figures involved in a major paedophilia ring.

What a cesspit it all is and these are the people sending young men and women to war to die in their 'moral crusades' for 'freedom and justice'.

'Go die for freedom boys, I have some children to see ...'

The sexual scandals include not only children, but male prostitutes who visit the White House of George W. Bush. Both he and Tony Blair are homosexual, or at least go both ways, as Washington and London insiders have long been aware. In saying that, I am not condemning homosexuality in the least. My philosophy on life is simple: do what you like so long as you don't force it on anyone else. It is the enforcement, the imposition against the will of another, that I challenge - and the gross hypocrisy of those who would claim to be our moral guardians. Spare us the cover-story wives and make-believe morality.

The 'Jeff Gannon' scandal that broke in early 2005 was another window on the shadow world that was quickly buried and forgotten. 'Jeff Gannon' was a fake 'journalist' working under a fake name - his real name is James Guckert (unless that's false also).

He was given media credentials by the Bush administration to become a White House correspondent working for a website called Talon News and they may have got away with it had 'Gannon' not asked Bush such friendly and supportive questions at press conferences.

Further investigation revealed that 'Gannon/Guckert' was a male prostitute who advertised his wares at websites like Once again, how he lives his life is up to him among consenting adults, but we are talking the White House here with all the implications that has for blackmailing policy into law.

Jeff Gannon ... male prostitute, White House 'reporter' and Bush supporter ...

.. . Georgie meets 'Jeff'...

.. they're just good friends ...

There are many issues involved here, especially the unspeakable abuse and suffering of the children and young people involved. The character of many in positions of power is also confirmed still further by these revelations, but we should not underestimate the blackmail aspect to this.

I have written many times of how the intelligence and secret society networks entrap their targets and front people in compromising situations that would destroy them if the truth came out.

Child procurer, Craig Spence, told several friends that the CIA used his 'service' to compromise other federal intelligence officials and foreign diplomats. One of his close associates was the Japanese nuclear scientist Motoo Shiina, a Liberal Democratic Party politician who was suspected of passing defence secrets to the Soviet Union.

Of course, they seek to entrap domestic politicians also, not least the president or prime minister. When they do, these hidden forces control their compromised targets who are terrified of the consequences of exposure.

Such entrapment, and therefore control, is far more widespread than most people imagine and fundamentally impacts on world policy and events. That's one reason, and only one, why so many paedophiles make it to the 'top'.

But then comes the question of 'Why now?' Foley's behaviour was clearly well known for a long time and then suddenly his emails are leaked to ABC.

At the same time, the passing of the Military Commissions Act, the confirmation of America as a fascist state, should have been dominating the news coverage. But once the Foley scandal broke there was only one story in town.

The Military Commissions Act

On the day of 9/11, a British government spinner told colleagues that it was a day 'to bury bad news' - in other words the day to release the stories you have to make public but don't want to be noticed.

This was one major consequence of the Foley story breaking when it did. It effectively buried the potentially vast coverage in the mainstream media of the Military Commissions Act and its consequences for what is left of American liberty.

But doesn't the sex scandal also harm Bush and the Republicans? Yes, it does, but then Bush can't be 'elected' again and what is happening is good for would-be president and Illuminati-stooge, Hillary Clinton, unless, of course, her own seedy background is exposed.

And it's not Bush or the Republican high command who would have taken the decision to 'out' Foley at this time - they have too much to lose themselves if the dominoes fall.

Much more powerful and insidious forces were behind that - the forces that see everyone and everything as expendable to the 'greater' cause of global tyranny.

The same the whole world over ... Ties Between Elites and Child Sex Rings 'Beyond Imagination'

'The complicity in Mexico between child sex rings and the political and business elites "goes beyond what we can even imagine," says activist Lydia Cacho, who faces death threats and was even thrown briefly into prison for revealing those ties in a book. "What we have just seen is only the tip of the iceberg."

Cacho told IPS, after the local media aired recordings of telephone conversations between two prominent politicians and a hotel owner now in prison, and a wealthy local businessman. The number of Mexican politicians and businessmen involved in child pornography and sex rings "would shock us if we knew the real extent of the phenomenon," said Cacho.'
So it is in the United States, Canada, Europe, everywhere ... and it always involves those in power

Background to the Foley story

Foley e-mails 'leaked by Justice Department and FBI'

WMR has learned from informed sources in the Justice Department that the salacious e-mails from Rep. Mark Foley were leaked to ABC News by career Justice Department prosecutors and FBI agents who are incensed that Attorneys General John Ashcroft and Alberto Gonzales covered up the House page scandal for political reasons.

The back story of Pagegate is that there was a criminal conspiracy by the top political leadership of the Justice Department to cover up the predatory activities of Foley and other GOP members of Congress since at least 2003 and, likely, as early as 2001.

Other informed sources in the nation's capital report that Pagegate will soon implicate a number of GOP staffers in both the House and the Senate who intimidated and pressured male pages into inappropriate sexual relationships. One source confided that the staff members' contact with pages was "more egregious" than Foley's behavior.

The Pagegate scandal also involves senior officials of the Republican National Committee, located near the House Office Buildings, according to our Capitol Hill sources.

The bottom line is that the GOP is facing its worst political scandal since Watergate and the White House, already under assault from the revelations in Bob Woodward's insider account of the Bush presidency and the Iraq war, has told GOP members of Congress that they are on their own as far as Pagegate damage control is concerned.

Hastert ignores call to resign amid Foley fallout

'House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Illinois, ignored a call by a conservative Washington newspaper for him to resign as fallout continued from the political scandal involving former Rep. Mark Foley and his explicit instant messages. "The Speaker has and will lead the Republican conference to another majority in the 110th Congress," Hastert spokesman Ron Bonjean said in a statement that comes a little over a month ahead of midterm elections.'

The Cesspit Vortex Around Mark Foley

'... rather than dealing with Foley's sexual habits on the Web, the GOP leadership sank deeper into cover-up mode, burying the Foley matter lest it shine a light on other GOP gay hypocrites in Congress whose anti-gay agenda would embarrass the party a few months before a critical presidential and congressional election year.

It is now being reported that the House Page Board chairman John Shimkus (R-IL) actually enabled Foley to meet an underage pages for dinner dates after the House GOP leadership were aware of Foley's inappropriate communications with the teens. In fact, according to ABC News, Foley told the 2001-02 page class about them bidding for dinner with Foley.

Jeb Bush 'Aware Of Foley Conduct But Supported Cover-up'

'Informed sources in Tallahassee, Florida have told WMR that Governor Jeb Bush was fully aware of ex-Rep. Mark Foley's conduct with underage male pages but sat on the information to protect Foley and another top GOP Florida official, Attorney General Charlie Crist, who is currently running for governor to replace Bush.'

Republicans Pass Mandatory Child Strip Search Bill?

'A bill approved by the U.S. House yesterday would require school districts around the country to establish policies making it easier for teachers and school officials to conduct wide scale searches of students. These searches could take the form of pat-downs, bag searches, or strip searches depending on how administrators interpret the law.

The Student Teacher Safety Act of 2006 (HR 5295) would require any school receiving federal funding--essentially every public school--to adopt policies allowing teachers and school officials to conduct random, warrantless searches of every student, at any time, on the flimsiest of pretexts. Saying they suspect that one student might have drugs could give officials the authority to search every student in the building.'

Earth's Ecological Debt Crisis: Mankind's "Borrowing" From Nature Hits New Record

By Martin Hickman

The Independent UK

09 October 2006

Today is a bleak day for the environment, the day of the year when mankind over-exploits the world's resources - the day when we start living beyond our ecological means.

Evidence is mounting that rapid population growth and rising living standards among the Earth's six billion inhabitants are putting an intolerable strain on nature. For the first time an organisation - a British think-tank - has sought to pinpoint how quickly man is using the global resources of farming land, forests, fish, air and energy.

The new economics foundation has calculated from research by a US academic group, Global Footprint Network, that the day when we use more than our fair share of the Earth - when "humanity starts eating the planet" - is October 9.

In other words, assuming that the world has a certain quantity of natural resources that can sustainably be used up each year, today is the date at which this annual capacity is reached. And environmentalists warn that just as a company bound for bankruptcy plunging into the red or a borrower " maxing out" on credit cards must face the consequences, so must man.

The biggest problem relating to the over-consumption of resources is climate change, but its other effects include deforestation, falling agricultural yields and overfishing.

Overfishing is one of the most easily understood examples of the abuse of nature. Catching too many fish has left species that were once common, such as cod in the North Sea and bluefin tuna in the Mediterranean, struggling to survive.

Although it is possible to make ever-increasing catches for a while, eventually only small, juvenile fish are left, and stocks become unviable. Similarly, emissions of greenhouse gases are rising, exacerbated by the growth of China and India, but the climate is poised to wreak its revenge. Already polar ice caps are melting at a rate that is startling scientists, and examples of extreme weather, such as Hurricane Katrina, which devastated New Orleans in August last year, are being attributed to global climate change. In February, when he was Defence Secretary, John Reid revealed that British military planners were already preparing for conflicts arising from the scramble for resources in 20 to 30 years' time.

Outlining the impact of global warming, he said: "Impacts such as flooding, melting permafrost and desertification could lead to loss of agricultural land, poisoning of water supplies and destruction of economic infrastructure."

Global Footprint estimates that the human race is over-using the Earth's resources by 23 per cent. While each individual should use up no more than the equivalent of 1.8 hectares of the Earth's surface, the actual area we use is 2.2 hectares per person.

Mathis Wackernagel, executive director of Global Footprint Network, which analyses 6,000 pieces of data from such sources as the United Nations, warned that the limit of the Earth's endurance had already been reached.

He said: "Humanity is living off its ecological credit card and can only do this by liquidating the planet's natural resources."

According to nef's analysis, the unsustainability of human behaviour has speeded up markedly. Humanity started living beyond its means on a global level in 1987, when the limit of sustainability was reached on 19 December. By 1995, the day was arriving by 21 November and began arriving in October shortly after the millennium.

Consumption is particularly profligate in the West, where individuals consume air-freighted food, buy hardwood furniture, enjoy foreign holidays and own cars. Global Footprint estimates the world would need five planet Earths to sustain a global materialistic society such as that in the US while almost three would be needed for the UK.

By contrast, developing countries such as Kenya use a fraction of the resources. Nef highlighted the energy wasted in trade. In 2004, for example, Britain exported 1,500 tons of potatoes to Germany and imported the same amount. We sent 10,200 tons of milk and cream to France and imported 9,900 tons.

Andrew Simms, policy director of nef, warned the world was living far beyond our environmental means.

Professor Tim Jackson, head of sustainable development at Surrey University, one of Britain's leading experts in sustainability, said the research was broadly right and that we are using resources faster than they can be replaced by the planet.

He said: "We are clearly drawing natural capital and the point about collapse is that we don't know when some of the systems in the global atmosphere and fish will collapse but we do know that collapse is a very real possibility."

Our Dwindling Natural Assets

Degradation of the marine ecosystem is one of the world's biggest problems after climate change. Many fish population have shrunk by 90 per cent in 50 years. Species in particular danger are bluefin tuna in the Mediterranean and Atlantic and cod in the North Sea.

Oil reserves are fast running out: "peak oil" - the point from which oil reserves start to decline - is imminent, with world consumption of oil at 84 million barrels a day. In turn, the burning of fossil fuels is the largest source of emissions of CO2.

Some 13 million hectares of forest are lost every year, says the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation. Almost 20 per cent of The Amazon - the world's " lung" - has been felled. In 2004 the rate of forest clearance in the Amazon was the second highest on record, caused by the boom in growing soya beans. Deforestation of tropical rainforests may account for the loss of as many as 100 species a day.

Population growth, pollution and climate change are making water a scarce resource. Only 2 per cent of water on Earth is fresh, the rest is salt or trapped in glaciers and snow. By 2050, 7 billion people in 60 countries could be short of drinking water.

Farming Land

Overfarming drains the soil of nutrients, while the chemicals used in the process pollute waterways. Farming uses 70 per cent of the world's water supply: to provide 2,700 calories a day requires 4,300 litres (more than seven bathtubs) of water.

Subject: Iran War Nearer ; The Left and the 911 Truth Movement

1. IRAN - THE GATHERING STORM Claims the White House wants a peaceful solution should not be taken at face value, but the prospect of military and financial meltdowm for the American Empire could yet head off war. Indications that Rove and "Al Qaeda" plan October Surprise.

2. PUBLIC MEETING MONDAY 16 OCTOBER Magic bullet or conspiracy black hole: should the Left support the 911 Truth Movement? Leftists who believe the official 911 story welcome to attend.

Last crisisnewsletter warned readers to expect a hot autumn, and the indications are if anything worse than ever. In this survey we look at war plans against Iran, the next move from "Al Qaeda" and what happens when the war ends.

The apparent good news is also the bad news. Israel's bloody nose in Lebanon may have knocked some of the shine off the military jackboot, but the pro-Israel lobby is retrenching.

With nuclear missiles directed at every Arab capital why should Israel change its strategy just because a few of their "dumb animals" in the military (a phrase ascribed to Henry Kissinger) have been blown away by Hizbollah. When you are a warmonger and out of the line of fire, flirting with war is a win-win game: the setback in Lebanon has only strengthened the hawks.

Currently the big lie is that Iran wishes to commit genocide against Israel. Iran has in fact made its position clear: they wish to remove Israel from the face of the map using non-military means. Given that Israel has been an unmitigated disaster for almost everyone, including Jewish people who live there (but excluding the lucrative Tel Aviv and Washington war industries) this is hardly an unreasonable position.

All it would take to dissolve Israel would be a change of policy in Washington. This can happen - Saddam Hussein was once a favoured ally. This is why the more far sighted Israelis like Uri Avnery and a recent commentator in Haaretz are saying that rather than wait for that, the experiment has failed and should be wound up now from a position of strength.

Precedents for the peaceful dissolution of Israel are the Soviet Union, East Germany or Scotland. You don't need to take Iran's position on trust: with one of the world's largest nuclear arsenals directed at it, an Iranian attack on Israel, even a nuclear attack in the distant future, would be guaranteed to turn Iran's major cities to glass.

Having established the Iran genocide lie, the warmongers went on to spin us the fake "liquid bomb" threat. The liquid bombs would have required more than half an hour of highly skilled preparation in a plane's toilet to have any chance of exploding, but when you have the mentality of Home Secretary (and ex-communist enforcer) John Reid it's smart politics to wreck people's holidays and blame it on the Muslim enemy.

Lately they have conjured up a new threat: veiled Muslim women. Like David Blunkett Jack Straw seems to feel threatened by women who won't drop them for him. This "debate" has been peddled enthusiastically across the corporate media by ignorant reporters who are largely unaware that "Al Qaeda" operatives are often modern - they drink, snort coke and womanise, as reports from Florida, Turkey and Las Vegas confirm.

Veiled women have about as much connection with "Al Qaeda" as Catholic nuns have with the Pentagon.

Meanwhile Karl Rove has promised Republicans an October surprise to get them through the elections. Bush, facing meltdown in the mid terms, looks set to get another free gift from his old family friends. Hamid Mir and Al Quds are both reporting that "Al Qaeda" has announced a major attack on the US. These two sources have been cited in the Western media in the past as authorities and there is little doubt that, whoever really controls "Al Qaeda", middle ranking operatives do talk to them.

John Kerry has asserted that it was Osama Bin Laden who won the presidency for Bush. His fuzzy video was released three days before the election in 2004. "Osama" showed no ageing in four years on the run with kidney disease, but politically he had advanced by several centuries, bringing in Michael Moore and other Republican hate figures as his role models in a speech that sceptics said was probably drafted in Langley, Virginia.

Could the next attack be planned for the UK? 40% of the US, many of them in law enforcement, now believe the official 911 story is false, while the UK media and middle classes are some of the most gullible in the world. Sir Ian Blair, hated by senior police as the political stooge of his warmongering namesake, recently told a private meeting that the UK was headed for a "truly terrible" attack.

Was this speculation or inside knowledge? MI6 has many well documented links with "Al Qaeda", recently it was confirmed that top operative Omar Sheikh was working for them in Bosnia. The man named as the mastermind of 7/7 vanished abruptly when it was alleged he was on the MI6 payroll

Israel and NATO are currently threatening Lebanon and Syria from the Mediterranean while the US is sending out a new carrier group to threaten Iran, with minesweepers to stymie any countermeasures in the event of open war. Meanwhile Russia, China and Iran are moving closer diplomatically and there are reports of joint manoeuvres. Germany and France could be trapped by NATO treaty obligations and forced to join a US/UK war against Syria, Iran and any other government that gets in their way including Russia or China.

Norman Solomon a respected and cautious leftist commentator in Washington is the latest to raise the alarm: as a media expert he says the campaign of vilification against Iran is a strong indication that Bush plans to attack in due course. Claims that Bush and Rice wish for a peaceful solution are probably as true as similar claims which preceded the Iraq invasion: we now know they made a firm decision to attack over a year earlier. Shirley Williams, a cautious UK Libdem with good connections in the US puts, the chance of an attack at one in three.

In a complicated three way game the US refuses to negotiate with Iran, while manipulating the European negotiators to ensure no result is possible. The UN and Europe is being used to establish the idea that Iran is being unreasonable. Than they will be discarded when it comes to launching the attack.

In the UK Blair, surrounded by truly grotesque figures by now (even Jack Straw had to be replaced by the pro-Israel stalwart Margaret Beckett), would undoubtedly support another illegal attack. He could even use the crisis to renege on his promise to step down. Could Parliament rebel as it did against the Nazi appeasers in 1939? Blair is certainly the Neville Chamberlain of the hour, but Gordon Brown is an unlikely Winston Churchill. THE BIGGER PICTURE

All gloom and doom? No. On the tactical level, with awareness spreading that the official 911 story is far from the whole truth (even a senior BBC correspondent conceded recently on the flagship News at Ten that Osama and Bush benefit each other), there is always the chance that a botched "Al Qaeda" attack will rebound against Bush and the two Blairs, as happened with the Madrid bombs.

On the strategic level, there could yet be a revolt in Washington. The pro-Israel lobby there has long had most senior politicians nailed down by bribery and blackmail in much the same way that Lord Levy has New Labour in his pocket. However the survival instincts of the permanent bureaucracy, the military, and businesses outside the military industrial complex could still head off the drift to war.

There is a surprising parallel in history between the Third Reich in Russia and the situation the US Empire now finds itself in in the Middle East. (It's on record, by the way, that Hitler was a protege of the Bush dynasty, who acted as the nazis bankers in the US and had assets seized as late as 1942 for trading with the enemy).

Hitler was stopped in Stalingrad, but it was weeks before the bone-headed General Staff of the Wehrmacht even realised they were under siege. Rather than try to consolidate his position, Hitler, desperate for the oil that lay beyond Stalingrad, took his last big gamble and launched the biggest tank battle the world has ever seen at Kursk. He lost. The war was lost. But by the end, 30 million Russians and six million Jews had paid the price of the Bush family's flirtation with the Third Reich, Europe was rubble.

(After Kursk US/UK opened up the second front with the Normandy landings - delayed as long as possible while Russia bled. Terrified of Stalin's victorious armies, the Europeans welcomed the US as liberators but the Americans never went home. Stalin offered to withdraw and reunite Germany so long as it was neutral, but America turned the offer down. The modern American Empire was born.)

Back in the present, the smart money in the US knows that Iraq is the Pentagon's Stalingrad. The career generals are screaming that the US has lost the war there, but the Israeli-occupied media in London and Washington won't listen. The casualty figures look as massaged as they were in Vietnam.

Bankruptcy looms. For the first time in his long career, legendary investor Warren Buffett (aka the sage of Omaha) is divesting out of dollars, George Soros is betting against them. Why? Junk dollars are gushing out of Washington, many into the private fortunes of the Bush circle via the Pentagon, dollars that nobody except the Chinese and Japanese central banks, each for their own reasons, are willing to buy.

National bankruptcy was an early sign of the collapse of the Soviet Union. Americans are beginning to notice that the Washington oligarchy is saddling them with an unbearable debt. Rumsfeld once observed that defence spending was not a cost but an investment, but for those not in oil or arms the planned "investment" in Iran looks like pouring good money after bad. People outside the old secessionist confederacy, in states like Vermont, are beginning to mutter that Washington needs them a lot more than they need Washington.

The US property boom, based on one percent interest rates, which has sustained the economy since 2001 has already come to a shuddering halt as rates hit 5 percent. If the US attacks Iran, oil at $200 dollars a barrel will force interest rates far higher.

Can these military and financial warnings affect the political bubble that is Washington London and Tel Aviv in time to save Iran and Syria from more mass murder at the hands of the Empire? Would a Democrat victory next month in the mid terms stop Bush?

There is no policy difference between Washington Democrats and Washington Republicans: the bipartisan consensus on foreign policy is the political bedrock of the American Empire. However, there is one very important cultural difference: as Lyndon Johnson found in the riot torn sixties, Democrat warmongers cannot count on the loyalty of their grass roots.

Much as she would like to, President "let's be tougher on Iran" Hilary Clinton would have far more difficulty waging war than President "moderate torture only" McCain. And much as they are in support of the "War on Terror", a Democrat controlled Congress with subpoena powers would put the Republicans on the back foot and - unintentionally - be far less effective in suppressing the deadly testimony of 911 whistleblowers than a Republican controlled Congress has been.

If somehow the US elections can go ahead without being stolen again, if a new "Al Qaeda" attack does not swing a terrified public back to the Fuhrer in the White House, we could, just, be at the beginning of the end of the long nightmare. Washington and London might yet choose to lose the war now rather than lose the war later.

But here is the problem. Losing a war is the most dangerous time for any oligarchy. The truth about 911 will come out, as the truth of the Kennedy assassination came out in the 1970's after Vietnam was over. Unlike the Kennedy hit which could be dismissed as a mere palace coup, 911 has involved Washington conspirators conniving at the mass murder of Americans, not just to seize power but to abolish the constitution, start a war and loot the treasury. It has seen the corporate media willfully ignoring the most obvious evidence the 911 story is false. There will be - is already - a wave of popular outrage in the US as conservatives and liberals and even the religious grassroots combine against the Washington oligarchy. For gamblers like the Bush mob an attack on Iran might look like the only way out.

For the United States, built on the genocide of American Indians and the savagery of the Civil War, and feeding on blood ever since, dissolution would be the best solution. If Washington is to survive at all there will have to be major structural reforms like opening up the secret state to the light of day, freeing journalists from know-it-all editors and meddling proprietors, keeping money out of political campaigning and closing down most of the Pentagon. There will have to be hundreds of prosecutions for inciting and carrying out the criminal attack on Iraq and compounding that with war crimes that would be heinous crimes even if the war had been legal. There will be dozens of prosecutions for complicity - at least - in the 911 attacks and dozens more for covering it up after the fact.

Overthrowing the demonic leaders in Washington and London, bringing the military under political control, espousing reason and returning to a normal democracy, a highly flawed but at least not a deranged democracy. Behaving like other post-imperial states - Spain, Sweden, Germany or Japan.

In the case of US/UK it'll be a shock, but that's what happens to empires that start wars and lose them.

PUBLIC MEETING 7pm on Monday 16 October Function Room, The Counting House pub, 50 Cornhill, London EC3 nearest tube: Bank

Magic Bullet or Conspiracy Black Hole? Should the Left Support the 911 Truth Movement? Hugo Chavez does: should you?

Around 40% of Americans, including senior members of the military and political establishment, now suspect that - in some way - 911 was an inside job. The official 911 story, put out by the CIA in the hours after the attacks, has never been rigorously investigated. By now it has changed several times and changed over fundamental issues.

The 911 attacks are the crown jewels of the "War on Terror", the invasion of Iraq and threatened invasion of Iran. They have spawned a political atmosphere which has set back and even wrecked many of the Left's campaigns. Ian Henshall, co-author of the best-selling "9/11 Revealed", will be giving a talk followed by question and answer on the political issues raised by the 911 Truth movement and a brief survey of the evidence.

Also present will be Annie Machon, ex-MI5 officer, and Noel Glynn, Quaker long time peace activist and an organiser of the UK 911 Truth Campaign.

Ian Henshall will say that the peace movement, the global justice movement and the Left can gain from helping to expose what could turn out to be the Washington scandal of the century, and offer a strategy for journalists and politicians who wish to get at the truth.

Believers in the official 911 story and those who think that trying to find out the truth is a waste of time are particularly welcome to attend.

There will be an extensive question and answer session after the talk.

Israel's Plan for a Military Strike on Iran

By Jonathan Cook

10/12/06 " Information Clearing House" -- -- The Middle East, and possibly the world, stands on the brink of a terrible conflagration as Israel and the United States prepare to deal with Iran's alleged ambition to acquire nuclear weapons. Israel, it becomes clearer by the day, wants to use its air force to deliver a knock-out blow against Tehran. It is not known whether it will use conventional weapons or a nuclear warhead in such a strike.

At this potentially cataclysmic moment in global politics, it is good to see that one of the world's leading broadcasters, the BBC, decided this week that it should air a documentary entitled "Will Israel bomb Iran?". It is the question on everyone's lips and doubtless, with the imprimatur of the BBC, the programme will sell around the world.

The good news ends there, however. Because the programme addresses none of the important issues raised by Israel's increasingly belligerent posture towards Tehran.

It does not explain that, without a United Nations resolution, a military strike on Iran to destroy its nuclear research programme would be a gross violation of international law.

It does not clarify that Israel's own large nuclear arsenal was secretly developed and is entirely unmonitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency, or that it is perceived as a threat by its neighbours and may be fuelling a Middle East arms race.

Nor does the programme detail the consequences of an Israeli strike on instability and violence across the Middle East, including in Iraq, where British and American troops are stationed as an occupying force.

And there is no consideration of how in the longer term unilateral action by Israel, with implicit sanction by the international community, is certain to provoke a steep rise in global jihad against the West.

Instead the programme dedicates 40 minutes to footage of Top Gun heroics by the Israeli air force, and the recollections of pilots who carried out a similar, "daring" attack on Iraq's nuclear reactor in the early 1980s; menacing long shots of Iran's nuclear research facilities; and interviews with three former Israeli prime ministers, a former Israeli military chief of staff, various officials in Israeli military intelligence and a professor who designs Israel's military arsenal.

All of them speak with one voice: Israel, they claim, is about to be "wiped out" by Iranian nuclear weapons and must defend itself "whatever the consequences".

They are given plenty of airtime to repeat unchallenged well-worn propaganda Israel has been peddling through its own media, and which has been credulously amplified by the international media: that Iran is led by a fanatical anti-Semite who, like Adolf Hitler, believes he can commit genocide against the Jewish people, this time through a nuclear holocaust.

Other Israeli misinformation, none of it believed by serious analysts, is also uncritically spread by the film-makers: that Hizbullah in Lebanon is a puppet of Iran, waiting to aid its master in Israel's destruction; that Iran is only months away from creating nuclear weapons, a "point of no return", as the programme warns; and that a "fragile" Israel is under constant threat of annihilation from all its Arab neighbours.

But the programme's unequivocal main theme -- echoing precisely Israel's own agenda -- is that Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is hellbent on destroying Israel. The film-makers treat seriously, bordering on reverentially, preposterous comments from Israel's leaders about this threat.

Tehran or Pyongyang?

North Korea claims to have tested a nuclear weapon. Iran refuses to halt its uranium enrichment program. The non-proliferation regime teeters on the brink. Washington's uncompromising tactics with both Tehran and Pyongyang have failed to achieve anything but the most radioactive results.

When President Bush introduced the "axis of evil" of Iraq, Iran, and North Korea in his 2002 State of the Union address, he seemed to be establishing a hit list for U.S. military interventions. Four years later, the targeted countries instead represent the three most prominent foreign policy failures of the administration. Iraq is a mess, North Korea has battered down the door of the nuclear club, and Iran has moved in a more hardline direction under its president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

If Washington were sensible, it would cut its losses: negotiate a withdrawal from Iraq and sit down with both Iran and North Korea to negotiate face-saving agreements. Instead, American policy analysts and American citizens are fearful of the next war. Will it be a military strike against Tehran or Pyongyang?

Squeezing Tehran

Publicly, the United States has focused on using sanctions to deter Iran and North Korea from pursuing their nuclear aims. With Iran, the Bush administration has tightened "the financial noose on Iran, banning interaction with one of Iran's leading government-owned bank, Bank Saderat," writes Farideh Farhi in an FPIF policy report. Congress passed the Iran Freedom Support Act, extending sanctions against investments in the country's oil industry for another five years.

But sanctions may only be the visible tip of the iceberg. As FPIF columnist Frida Berrigan argues in War or Rumors of War, the Bush administration has kept the military option on the table and not simply on a rhetorical level. "Given the ongoing conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the sheer cost of existing military commitments, it would seem that the last thing the United States can afford right now is another war," she writes. But the Bush administration hasn't used much reality-based reasoning in its Iraq policy. She concludes that the administration "is therefore unlikely to use common sense in evaluating whether to attack Iran."

FPIF contributor Phyllis Bennis believes that, leading up to the November mid-term U.S. elections, another factor might be decisive. "Growing opposition to the prospect of an Iran War," she writes in an op-ed, "might lead some members of the Bush administration to decide the political cost of such a reckless adventure is too high."

Surrounding Pyongyang

The Bush administration has been approaching the situation in North Korea with almost identical hardheadedness. Instead of negotiating with Pyongyang, it has insisted on a multilateral format˜the Six Party Talks˜that has gone nowhere. It has applied a series of sanctions, including limits on financial transactions that fail to discriminate between North Korea's illicit operations and its legitimate economic activities.

As with Iran, the Bush administration has insisted on keeping all options on the table, even though the Pentagon has made it clear that a military strike against North Korea would lead to retaliatory strikes that would kill tens of thousands of U.S. and South Korean soldiers and civilians. As with Iran, the Pentagon has confessed that it would have great difficulty eliminating the dispersed nuclear facilities in North Korea.

North Korea has not made matters easier. It went ahead with missile launches in July and now a test in early October, even though both actions have further alienated its already ambivalent ally China. Even after its most recent provocation, however, Pyongyang has declared its continued willingness to negotiate. It doesn't have much choice. A nuclear weapon can't feed its people or rebuild its factories.

Will an attack on Iran or North Korea be the administration's October surprise? The rally-around-the-flag effect of bombing either North Korea or Iran would be overwhelmed by the sheer scope of the immediate consequences, not to mention the longer term blowback. For military, economic, and electoral reasons, it doesn't make sense for the Bush administration to launch an attack against any country at this moment. Alas, the administration seems to be singing only one tune these days, that old Talking Heads favorite: Stop Making Sense.

Saving the World

If the chaos of the Iraq war and the prospect of military attacks on North Korea and Iran weren't sufficiently depressing, there's always global warming to worry about. Several years ago, 162 nations signed and ratified the Kyoto protocol to reduce the emission of gasses that have contributed to climate change. The United States signed the treaty, but has not ratified it.

FPIF analyst Hoff Stauffer argues that the Kyoto's focus on "cap and trade," which establishes a market for trading pollution credits, is the wrong approach. He maintains that the older and more reliable strategy of establishing stricter standards˜on factories, cars, and home appliances˜will have a much greater impact on reducing the production of greenhouse gasses. His essay, part of a larger FPIF strategic dialogue on climate change, is worth reading all the way through. But go here if you need the 60 Second Expert version.

Recently, a group of activists decided to go to Singapore to change the world by trying to change the World Bank. Many key civil society activists, including FPIF columnist Walden Bello, weren't even let into the country. FPIF analyst Peter Bosshard puts this ban into the larger context of the World Bank's failure to listen to people on the ground where its development projects threaten the livelihoods of so many.

Elsewhere at FPIF, Tom Barry investigates the fear-mongering of the Bush administration and Jim Lobe analyzes how the United States has scrapped the Geneva Conventions.

From Freedom to Fascism -- and Back

October 9, 2006

by Steve Bhaerman

How unreal are we going to let reality get before we get real?
-- Swami Beyondananda

The other night, I watched the most heartening disheartening movie I've seen in a long time. Huh?? Let me explain. The movie was called From Freedom to Fascism, and while the content was disheartening, the context was heartening indeed.

At a time when America has surely been divided and just about conquered, segregated into two rival cultural / political tribes that are discouraged from having civil discourse, here finally is an attempt to create a unifying context. From Freedom to Fascism is the work of Libertarian activist and film producer Aaron Russo (The Rose, Trading Places), and it takes on the illegality of the Internal Revenue Service and the private ownership of the Federal Reserve Bank -- pet libertarian issues generally associated with the right wing. The movie also criticizes the war in Iraq, the Patriot Act, and other recent attempts to turn due process into "doo-doo process." The result is a film that shows how both political parties operate to the detriment of the vast majority of Americans. Could it be that we the people finally have a unifying tool to help grow the "up-wising?"

Consider that earlier this year, Jefferson Public Radio (Ashland, Oregon) talk show host Jeff Golden (author of As If We Were Grown-ups) cosponsored a showing of the movie with a right-wing Rush Limbaugh-clone talk show host from nearby Medford. The film played to a full house, roughly half of whom identified as "progressive," and half "conservative." As the final credits rolled, the entire crowd stood up and cheered together.

This should be cause for all of us to cheer.

While strategically it makes all the sense in the world to throw the Republicans out of power in Congress this fall, throwing the Democrats in will not in and of itself alter the corporate influence in government. A Democratic victory should definitely be seen as the first step for "we the people" taking back America, but it is only a first step. And given the Democrats‚ uncanny knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory -- primarily by not facing the fundamental issues that are apparent to more and more Americans daily -- their regaining Congress would be even more an expression of changing political will in this country.

Lasting change of direction can only come when a significant number of Americans choose to step away from the limiting positions of "left" and "right" and come together to thoughtfully face the real issues that confront us:

- What really creates safety and security in a shrinking world that could use a good shrink?
- How can we use our human and planetary resources to feed the whole -- instead of the "hole" we seem to be feeding now?
- How can we nourish independence and interdependence at the same time?
- How do we turn issues like global warming, peak oil and environmental reconstruction into economic and spiritual opportunities?

But before we talk about what could be happening in this country, it's essential that we face what IS happening here. Put another way, before we put the body politic on a bodybuilding regimen, we must address the life-threatening situation it's in right now.

First the Good News: The Law of 75

Several years ago, spiritual psychologist Patricia Sun was speaking at a "new age" bookstore being picketed by four Christian fundamentalists. When she suggested going out and talking to the pickets, the bookstore owner rolled her eyes and said, "You can't talk to those people." Patricia decided to do it anyway. She went out there, looked them in the eye and spoke from her heart. After a short while three of the four put down their signs. "You're saying what Jesus said!" they said, and hugged her. The fourth refused and continued picketing

This story led me to conclude that three out of four people -- whatever their ideological orientation -- are capable of transcending that belief system in the face of something greater: The power of love and respect. Or as the Swami has said, "Get 'em by their hearts and their heads will follow." Hence what I call "The Law of 75."

Of course, in this divide-and-conquer atmosphere where the media tends to spark heat instead of light, the "you can't talk to those people" mentality prevails. And it doesn't seem to matter whether those people are Christian fundamentalists or Muslim ones. Merely the disdainful designation as "those people" is enough to tear the thin membrane of mutual respect, even before a word is uttered.

A recent article in the Washington Post suggests that "those people" might not be what we've been led to think. According to the article, between 20% and 35% of so-called "evangelicals" actually subscribe to progressive values like economic equity, environmentalism (which they call "Care for Creation") and ending the war in Iraq. So, if these evangelicals make up 25% of America's population, and at least one fifth of them don't buy into the religious right's religious wrongs, that means that the "base" of the religious right is less than 20% of American voters.

So how is it that the Neocon Republicans can rule on the basis of such a small base? Well, as we will see it's not their base that has debased our democracy and put freedom in the basement. It's their baseness.

And Now the Other News: It's Not the Base, It's the Baseness

This past Saturday night in Santa Rosa, the Swami had the honor of opening for Mark Crispin Miller, author of Fooled Again: How the Right Stole the 2004 Election and Why They'll Steal the Next One (Unless We Stop Them).

Miller, a respected writer and professor at NYU, has been -- in the parlance of the 60s -- "radicalized." That's when some significant emotional event springs you from the matrix of conventional beliefs, and all of a sudden you find yourself saying things you never dreamed you'd be saying. Miller's radicalizing experience came when he began investigating election fraud before the 2004 election, and then had his suspicions fully confirmed afterward. As Miller said to open his talk, when you allow yourself to look at the evidence there is no doubt whatsoever that not only are voting machines hackable, they have been hacked and they will be hacked again.

The issue, Miller maintains, is not just the electronic voting machines but the electronic counting of ballots, where "black box" technology is used and no one is allowed to monitor the process! "Faith-based vote counting," Swami calls it. Thanks to an article earlier this year by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. in Rolling Stone, the voting fraud issue has broken through the "soundless barrier."

Indeed, a recent Zogby poll indicates that 45% of Americans now believe that it was election fraud that put George Bush in office the past two elections. And the other 55%? They just don't want to go there. However, as Miller so starkly pointed out, "there" has already come here. Sadly, what has kept this neo-fascist regime in power -- in addition to their willingness to do anything to stay in power -- is "Not-Seeism," the choice too many Americans have made to not see what's right in front of them.

This is understandable. Who wants to go to bed (or wake up) with the thought that the leaders we have supposedly elected have fixed elections, lied us into war, and possibly allowed or caused our nation to be attacked precisely so that we could go to war? However, as someone who has been a student of politics since I was a kid -- and not someone given to paranoid pronouncements -- I have concluded that this current regime is a different creature from any in America's history. We keep wanting to imagine them as simply a pesky and persistent brand of "conservatives" who will get their comedownance at the polls someday. In reality, they are the most toxic sociopathogen our body politic has ever had to endure, and their goal is what can only be called "the final solution to the democracy problem."

They have violated, flouted, twisted and defied the most basic common understandings of our 220-year-old political system. Their proven corruption is unbounded, and it doesn't seem to matter to them who knows it. They act as if they will never really have to face the electorate, nor be held accountable. One alarm bell is that a panoply of true conservatives -- from the far-right Cato Foundation to William F. Buckley to Richard Viguerie to John Dean -- have condemned the abuses of power on the part of the neocons and say that neo-conservatism has no resemblance whatever to real conservatism. Ironically, conservatives with conscience have been more pointed in their critique of this un-American regime than many mainstream Democrats.

According to Miller, the recent Bush campaign to "rally his base" by invoking 9/11 and security issues is a ruse. He knows his base is a minority to start with and shrinking daily. The ruse, says Miller, is merely a cover so that if and when the election is stolen -- as in 2004 -- the Republicans can crow that their "base" showed up at the polls, when it was their baseness that showed up instead. And if for some reason the Republicans still lose their grip on Congress? We can expect -- as Thom Hartmann reported on his show recently -- that THEY will cry foul, and say the Democrats perpetrated voter fraud!

So ... what to do?

From Bad News to Good News: The Antidote for Big Brother is Bigger Brotherhood

As anyone who's ever been to a 12-step program will tell you, the first step is acknowledge you have a problem. So here is the problem as clearly and starkly as it can be stated: We have a de facto dictatorship in America now, and the only thing to prevent it from becoming an "in facto" one is the awakening of we the people. As Mark Crispin Miller pointed out, even if the vote IS stolen the one thing we the people can do to assert ourselves is to vote in record numbers anyway, and to vote for regime change. The more overwhelming the turnout, the less able they will be to steal it -- and in case they do, the more overwhelming the outcry.

It's taken the body politic years to lose its muscle tone, so it would be unreasonable to expect that we can get our "mojo" back all at once. Consequently, we should do all we can to win at the polls this time and realize the "up-wising" and subsequent revitalization of America's true values is a longer term conversation. We should soberly face the likely truth that the only thing that can shore up their regime is more force, and that their ultimate goal is neo-feudalism disguised as Big Brother totalitarianism.

And the only way to outstrip Big Brother is by cultivating "bigger brotherhood." Let's remind ourselves of the Law of 75 and realize that at least 75% of American want an open society, not totalitarianism. That means, we should -- as Patricia Sun showed us -- speak face-to-face and heart-to-heart with the "heartland." I would even suggest replacing the word "Republican" with "Neocon" to describe this regime, and become familiar with what true conservatives and even Republicans (like former Rep. Bob Barr of Georgia) have said about Bush and company.

Get a copy of From Freedom to Fascism and show it to friends, family -- and in a public gathering if possible -- between now and election day. Familiarize yourself with the conservative critics of the neocon con, and quote them frequently. While the chances of registering new voters grow slimmer as election day approaches, one of our hopes is to "convert" Republicans to turn away from neocon fascism in favor of true conservatism. A good innocent opening question when talking with those who identify as conservatives is, "Do you trust our government to tell you the truth?" Second question is, "Would you prefer to have a government that is truthful and responsive or one that lies to you for its own benefit?" Then finally, "So what are you going to do about it?"

One likely response you'll get is the cynical one: "That's the way things are, and that's the way they'll always be. There will always be corruption, abuse, etc."

A possible answer to that is: "That's exactly what they want you to believe -- that greed and evil are our nature. But maybe they want you to believe that to provide cover for their own actions. Are people in your own family greedy and evil? Or are they, just like you, trying to get by and provide for their families?"

On the progressive side of the fence, contextualize pet progressive issues from peace to environmentalism to civil rights to social security reform as all part of the bigger conversation of restoring "government of, by and for the people where our government does the people's bidding, not the bidding of the highest bidder." From the strategic standpoint, the ONLY thing happening between now and November 7th, is changing those "R's" to "D's" in Congress (and not the way Fox did either). Think of all those issues as the body politic fighting a case of the flu. Think of this election as escaping from a burning building. If you were bed-ridden with the flu and the building was on fire, would you stay and nurse the flu or get out of the building?

If you can volunteer an hour or two or ten between now and then to call or mobilize voters, to be a poll watcher, to write letters to the editor -- anything -- know that you are a part of a growing energy field, no matter what the results this time around. Consider that the current gang of misleaders have the media in their pocket, have zillions of dollars to spend and have the power of force and fraud on their side. And STILL they are concerned about losing. Keep this in mind: Their greatest weapon is fear, and their greatest fear is truth.

Finally the most valuable -- and perhaps underrated -- action you can take is to keep the field of truth moving forward. In every conversation, in every meditation, in every prayer move the truth forward fearlessly. The more the field expands, the more likely change is to unfold, often in a surprising way. Last week, Trudy and I did a prayer and visualization for the body politic to "operate from the qualities of the intelligent heart" and that "the transition to the truth is safe and just."

The next morning, the headlines were full of Rep. Foley's resignation -- and the subsequent exposure of the hypocrisy of those who hide behind puritanism and yet cynically live by their own rules. The Republican misleadership immediately activated their spin and blame machine, but all indications were people just weren't buying it.

As a "coincidence theorist," I can only conclude this surprising outbreak of truth was merely a coincidence, and it sure would be nice if we could create more of them. So, here's my "tell a vision": Let's create the greatest coincidence ever -- that the reality of what America is finally coincides with the dream our Founders had. And there's no one here to do it but us.

Certain details have been deleted and/or amended in order to ensure that his identity remains concealed, and the transcript has been “cleaned” of most expressed natural hesitations and the like. Meanwhile, it is most important to note that none of the factual information disclosed has been altered or amended in any way.

Henry’s name and employment details are known and verified and we were able to meet with him personally more than once. He was understandably a little nervous but definitely wanted to talk with us. In conversation, he sometimes responded with silence and meaningful glances or enigmatic smiles rather than words. He was entirely disarming, in a very quiet way, and was not always certain about what he should or shouldn't say. At times, however, he took great pleasure in revealing the truth about some key matter in a way that could not be traced back to him. One or two supplementary details were provided by e-mail after the interview. The most important piece of additional information comes at the very end of the transcript, where Henry confirms Dan Burisch's testimony.Readers are welcome to distribute this freely with the proviso that no part of it must be altered or deleted. Unaltered extracts can be quoted if the context is made clear. We consider this interview to be extremely important and in our opinion the information revealed should be made widely known.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself – as much as you feel you can.

I’m a current employee of one of the three letter agencies [he plays a little word game with us until we guess the right agency, which he then confirms]. I’m probably taking quite a risk by speaking to you like this, though I don't intend to reveal any information that in my judgment is both classified and specific to national security. I’ve been involved in many projects with many different agencies over many years. To jump right in at the deep end, I believe I was a walk-in around eighth grade. I have memories of coming from another planet, and these are all mixed up, all mingled with human boyhood memories. It's very weird, and hard to explain what it feels like. I’ve never had any problems intuitively accessing complex scientific information and I've often found myself understanding complex systems with no detailed briefing or training. I work essentially with systems. I don't mean to be arrogant, but I do know a great deal of advanced information, scientific and otherwise. I just seem to know it. I can’t say more than that right now.

Can you give even any clues about which agency you work for?

No, not on public record. I just can't afford that.

What information do you feel you have that’s important for the world to know?

There’s so much that it’s hard to know where to start.I knew about 9/11 two years before the event, for instance. Not in specific terms, but certainly in general ones. It was talked about, an event like that, something that would change the game, let's say.I know that there’s a planned war between the US and China scheduled for late 2008. This is also geopolitical and not concerned with Black Ops as such. These were both just events that I got to hear about in passing. I have no detailed information about them.

You mean that China and the US are working together to stage a war?

The Pentagon started the planning in 1998. You have to understand that China and the US are hand in glove with everything. This war is a joint op between the US and China. Most wars are set up that way and have been for a while. You want something else that’s just unpleasant to hear? I also heard from someone who was serving in a unit that worked with missiles deployed for testing in the Pacific and the Far East. The missiles were shipped to the test location in very tightly sealed containers, very secure, hermetically sealed. After the tests, the container would be shipped back, sealed the same way, but empty, supposedly empty. On one occasion, this guy was present when a container was opened. It wasn't empty. It was filled with bags of white powder.

I leave you to draw your own conclusions. I doubt it was sugar. Let me just say that, hypothetically speaking, and let just me say that to protect myself, if such a plan was in operation, it makes perfect logistical sense as it’s a totally secure way to get around all security, customs, international boundaries and ports, and all those checks. It’s perfect, like the way guns and ammunition used to cross borders in diplomatic bags going between consulates. This happens all the time.

Would you call yourself a physicist?

Yes. I cover other specialties as well, but yes, I’m a physicist. And I specialize in systems. Livermore is a good place to be, everyone's very professional there. They don’t, you know, they don’t play games there.

What can you say about the current state of physics in the military-industrial complex?

It’s dozens of years ahead of mainstream physics which is published in journals in the public domain. There are projects dealing with subjects beyond the belief or experience, beyond the imagination, of many public domain physicists.

Can you give us any examples?

[long pause]There's a project called Shiva Nova at Livermore which uses arrays of giant lasers. These are huge lasers, huge capacitors, many terawatts of energy, in a building built on giant springs [extends his arms to show the size], all focused on a tiny tiny point. This creates a fusion reaction which replicates certain conditions for nuclear weapons testing. It’s like a nuke test in lab conditions, and there's very powerful data collection focused on that point where all the energy is focused. The problem is that all extremely high-energy events like this create rips in the fabric of spacetime. This was observed back in the early Hiroshima and Nagasaki events, and you can even see it in the old movies. Look for what looks like an expanding energy sphere, and I can send you a link to show you. The problem with creating rips in spacetime, whether they're big or little, is that things get in that you don’t want to be there.

Things get in?

Things get in. Things that we all know about that are discussed on the net a lot. Beings, and influences, and all kinds of weird stuff, and I can tell you they’ve created big problems.

What kind of problems?

[pause]The problem of their presence and then what happens next. The other problem is that if you’re creating rips in spacetime you’re messing with time itself, whether you mean to or not. There have been attempts to fix that, and it all results in a complicated overlay of time loops. Some ETs are trying to help, and others, others are not. When predicting futures, we can only talk about probable and possible futures. This is all extremely complex and very highly classified. Basically, it’s just a huge mess. We've opened Pandora’s Box, starting with the Manhattan Project, and we haven't yet found a way to deal with the consequences.

The problem of multiple timelines sounds like the information reported by Dan Burisch... can you comment on that?

[shakes head] I don’t know about any of that.

OK. We’ll send you the links so that you can see the interviews. But what you’re saying also corroborates the information reported by "Mr X" on the Camelot website. Have you seen or read those interviews?

No, what does he say?

"Mr X" is an archivist who for a six-month period had the opportunity to work with classified documents, films, photos and artifacts back in the mid-80s when he was working on a special project with a defense contractor. He says that he read that the principal reason for the ETs' interest in us was because of nuclear testing and the general threat of nuclear weapons.

That sounds about right. Except only one or two ET groups are concerned about nuclear weapons, not all of them.

OK. What else can you tell us about the timeline problem?

Just that it’s unresolved. The risk is, you see, that each time we try to fix it, it adds to the problem. It just gets worse all the time.

Are the aliens – or some of the aliens – time travelers? Dan Burisch states this.

Do you know about the Montauk Project?

That caused a huge problem, and generated a... created a 40-year loop.I don’t know about Al Bielek. I believe some of his information is suspect. But something like that definitely did happen, the Philadelphia Experiment, too. John Neumann was very involved in all of that.

And Tesla, and Einstein?

Don’t know. But Neumann... [nods head]

Montauk was real?

Yes. That was a real mess. They created a time split we’re still unable to mend. Now, understand this also relates to Project Rainbow, the Stargates… they were also working on that there. But some of the Montauk reports on the net are unconvincing to me. I’ve seen some of the photos of the equipment they’re supposed to have used, and it’s junk, just a pile of junk.

[Bill] I’ve always had a problem with the idea of time portals because I don’t see how or why they’d stay with the planet at a certain location as it moves through space. If a portal was created in spacetime, you’d expect it to be left behind somewhere very quickly as the earth rotates, and moves round in its orbit, and the solar system itself is orbiting the galaxy in a huge cycle. I mean, everything’s in motion, all the time, and this is well known. Can you explain this?

No, I can’t... but I know what you mean, and the portals do stay in specific locations, kind of anchored to this planet. That does happen that way. Why they don’t get left behind or just kind of float off somewhere, I have no idea. Maybe they’re gravitationally anchored in some way. Your guess is as good as mine. One of the portals connects to Mars, and it’s a stable connection, no matter where Earth and Mars are in their orbits. We have a base there established in the early sixties. Actually, we have a number of bases.

So we’ve explored Mars already.

Sure, a long time ago. Have you seen Alternative Three?

That had some truth to it. The Mars landing video was all a spoof, and other parts of it were as well, but there’s truth there.

What else do you know as a physicist working on these projects?

OK. This may interest you if you have a physics background. You know what signal non-locality is, right? When two particles in different parts of the universe can apparently communicate with each other simultaneously, no matter what the distance. Communications devices have been made for communicating across vast distances and also locally using a methodology that’s impossible to eavesdrop on, because there's nothing traveling between the two devices that can be intercepted. It’s impossible to crack or codebreak or eavesdrop because no signal travels anywhere, so there’s no signal to be intercepted or decoded. It just doesn’t work like that. The beauty of it is that the devices are actually so simple to build. You can create two chaotic circuits, on a couple of small breadboards using cheap components which anyone can buy, and they communicate with each other in this way. You can build these if you know how.

Are there any other applications besides communication?

What else can you tell us about this?

That’s it. Oh, I should say that I didn’t realize at first that you were also the guy who created the Serpo website. Let me just say that it wasn’t called by that name. And I doubt that the travel took nine months. That's not how they traveled there.

Oh, you mean the travel was instantaneous?

I don’t think they traveled the way they say they did on the Serpo website. Maybe there were other programs. There may have been many. But travel across large distances is best done using portals. Anything else is really... it's just inefficient.

You mean they used Stargates?

I guess you could call them that, yes.

I also suspect the system isn’t Zeta Reticuli. It sounds to me like Alpha Centauri. I think you mentioned this on the site.

Do you have a reason for saying that?

Well, Zeta 1 and 2 are a long way apart from one another. Alpha Centauri and Promixa Centauri are close together. Alpha Centauri has a solar system very much like ours, but it's older. The planets are in stable orbits. There are three inhabited planets, the second, third and fourth. No, wait, the fifth, I think. Second, third and fifth.

That’s astonishing… you knew this professionally? I mean, you came across this in the course of your work?

Yes. This is known. It’s comparatively easy to get there, less than five light years away, and that’s, you know, it's right next door to us. The… people… there are very human-like. They're not Grays, they’re like us. The human form is very common in the universe.

[Bill] Is one of the planets desert-like? That’s what I saw in the photo I described. Two setting suns, over a desert landscape. It really blew me away. [See this article on the Serpo website at]

Yes, it is. A desert planet.

Are you familiar with Project Looking Glass?

That sounds kind of familiar...

It was a kind of technology that Dan Burisch told us about that involved seeing into the future. Were you involved with it?

OK, that technology wasn't developed by us. We were given it, or it was taken from a craft we acquired. I didn't work on that.

We heard they have a man-made Stargate as Los Alamos. Are you familiar with that?
[looks at us without answering, slight enigmatic smile]
What can you tell us about Los Alamos?

There's a Los Alamos website I'll send you, and then you can search there under “gravity shielding” and things like that. It’s all there.[Note: the website is]Now, it may have been an error that it’s in the public domain. You might want to advise people to archive the pages they find there before they’re taken off the web once this gets out, if it does. But right now you can see it with your own eyes. It’s hard to know what else to say.

What can you tell us about the ET presence?

Look up the movie Wavelength. It’s based on a totally true story. Have you seen it? It's based on an incident that took place at Hunter Liggett. This is a hot one.

No. Where’s Hunter Liggett?

90 miles south-south-east of Monterey, California. My primary station at the time was Fort Ord.I was working there back in the early 70s, when I was in the military, and I was working under CDCEC, which is Combat Developments Command Experimentation Command. You can go look that up.We were doing testing of all kinds of devices, and we lived out in the field there. We wore laser protection goggles a lot of the time and we had our eyes dialated routinely to check our retinas for burns. Some of the cattle in the fields even wore modified goggles! This was the most bizarre sight you could ever imagine.Well, one day something happened while we were testing. A disk came into the area and it was hovering, it hovered right directly in front of us, out in a field. So [pause] we shot the ****ing thing down.

You shot down a disk?

[shaking head] We should never have done it. It wasn't me personally, but the group did. Between us we had all this gizmo weaponry and I guess they panicked and thought they were in a movie or something. The disk was disabled and it was captured, and so were the occupants, and I saw these very briefly. They were small child-like humanoids, with no hair. And they had small eyes, not large almond-shaped eyes. I don’t think anyone knows about this. As far as I know it’s not on the internet.

This is incredible. I've never heard of this incident.

Most of the other witnesses ended up in Vietnam and many were killed. I may be the only living witness to what happened... I don’t know.

The rest of the story is in a sci-fi movie called Wavelength, which was released in the early '80s. I’d never heard of it until I ran into it years later, in Arizona. Did I just say this? [laughs, for the first time]

When I saw the video, I was expecting some, you know, light entertainment with a beer or two, but I mean, my mouth just hung wide open. The beginning of the film just completely clearly and accurately describes the incident, and the film is very close to the rest of the story, including the use of an abandoned Nike base in Southern California to store them.

Go find it. It’s all basically true. I was just amazed when I saw it. The person who wrote it must have been there, or knew someone who was there. But I don’t know who.

I had a genuine alien photo once. I showed it to someone, a woman, a very talented woman, who was a microbiologist working for one of the agencies. It scared the s*** out of her. I couldn’t believe it. She just didn’t want to deal with it at all. And I’d say that just suggests that the public, even scientists aren’t ready for this information to be released. And this person was really smart. It didn’t stop her from freaking out, just not wanting to know. She was just, you know, totally spooked.

Do you still have the photo? Can we see it?

I don’t know. I may still have it somewhere, and if I can find it, I’ll forward it to you.

Can you describe it?

It showed a small being with dark skin, kind of black and wrinkled. He was a sole survivor of an incident. But he died shortly afterwards. He had a suit that was self-healing, ah... self-repairing. It was a kind of fabric, or something, that would actually repair itself. And he had an artifact with him that was some kind of remote control device, and that was taken away from him.

He was the survivor of a crash?

A time traveler?

You know everything, don't you?

No, but you're giving us verification.

I mean, it’s just so incredibly complicated. It’s so complex it’s possible that no one person has all the information. Most of the agencies don’t know what the other agencies know and everything is heavily compartmentalized right up the wazoo. No-one talks to anyone else about this stuff. Sometimes entire projects are duplicated at the cost of God knows how many billions because the existence of the other project is unknown, it‘s kept from them. I mean, I’m a scientist, and scientists sometimes have one arm tied behind their backs because they can't communicate freely. In fact, they can’t communicate at all [laughs]. And there are dozens, hundreds of classified projects, I mean major ones. It’s just a total mess.

Look, there are many groups of ETs, and besides our own ancestors are mixed in there. There are time loops upon time loops, and it’s all a mess. You’d need an IQ of 190 to figure it all out.

Tell us about the time loops. By the way, can we ask you again…. you’ve not heard of Dan Burisch?

Not that I remember. It's not familiar to me.

We interviewed him last month. He was next to John Lear on the web page.

I did see your interview with John Lear, talking about the moon photos and the way they’re airbrushed. NASA does that all the time. He’s quite a character, by the way. I’d like to meet him one day. What few people know is that radar reports for the National Weather Service are also airbrushed, so that certain radar images aren’t released. I don’t mean airbrushed as in by hand. The radar images are electronically filtered using software. Some of these radar traces are huge. In addition, the weather radar won’t record traces that are moving faster than a certain high speed, a couple of thousand miles an hour. But there are still traces which need to be removed.

Sure. They’re often optically invisible, but usually show up on radar. They’re also visible in ultraviolet... I don’t think this is generally known by people.

So what can you tell us about the time loops?

Right. [long pause]The situation with time loops is that there are a large number of parallel timelines, lots of branches. There are no paradoxes. [draws a diagram] If you go back in time and kill your grandfather, that’s the grandfather paradox everyone talks about, there’s no paradox. When you go back and change the past, it creates a different timeline, which is a new branch of the original one. On that timeline, you’d not be born and wouldn’t exist, so that aspect of the paradox is true. Do you see? But on this timeline, which you’re on here and now, you do exist, and continue to do so. There’s no paradox. It’s simple… do you see? You’re dealing with different branches of a kind of time tree. No principles get violated. All future events are possibilities, not certainties. That’s kind of pretty important, an important... distinction. That's really all I can say about that.

Do you know anything about chemtrails?

OK. Chemtrails were developed by Edward Teller and are basically the seeding of thousands of tons of microparticles of aluminum on the upper atmosphere to try to increase the albedo of the planet, the reflectivity of the planet, because of global warming. Now, gold microparticles, real gold, were used once in a similar situation on another planet, but I guess they had lots of gold, and we used aluminum instead. Global warming is partly because of the greenhouse effect, and that certainly makes things worse, but most of it is because of increased solar activity. Solar activity is the real problem.

Why isn’t this information in the public domain? It seems like people should know and would like to know, and there’s no security risk if what you say is true.

Scientifically, it’s just a total gamble. Not nearly enough is understood. It may work, or maybe it won't. It could easily make things worse. There may also be health side-effects, weather side-effects, God knows what. It affects the whole planet and here you have a unilateral, non-democratic decision, unconnected with the political or democratic process, to launch a huge technological special project that affects everyone on earth. If that’s not controversial, I don’t know what is. The solution is to keep it secret. It’s the usual kneejerk solution, too.

Will it work?

I don’t know.

Is this also connected with weather wars?

[pause]Yes, there are weather wars. The Air Force will own the weather within two years.

What else can you tell us?

Read The Report from Iron Mountain. Much of that is true. I was working with a group down in [ ______ ]. They called us in and passed out a report. The weird thing is that it wasn’t even connected with what we were working on, and it came just right out of the blue, out of nowhere, and none of us were expecting it. The guy said, and I’ll never forget it because it struck me as just wrong: “There are the wolves and there are the sheep, and we are the wolves.” Then they told us to go and read the report, and that was that. There wasn’t any choice, and there still isn’t. The way they see it is there are too many people, and, you know, they're right. That's true. So they figure they need to eliminate them and they're planning solutions to this. I happen to think it doesn’t have to be that way. Apart from what I’ve mentioned so far about the spacetime problems, the problem is overpopulation. It’s as simple as that. There are programs to reduce global population for everyone’s benefit. Believe it or not, the intent there is positive. It was put together by Kennedy way back then. The RAND Corporation was involved, and one of the Rockefellers, I forget which one, probably Laurance, I think.

By killing people off?

Basically, yes. Artificial viruses that have been deployed using a number of means and are hard to detect or identify and nearly impossible to cure. Medical people in the public domain can't identify what's happening.

How do you feel about this personally?

Very mixed. [pause]As an individual flesh-and-blood human being, I’m appalled. And as a scientist trained to look at things from a high vantage point, a high overview, I have to say that I can understand the thinking. You have to understand that I’m not defending or condoning this. It’s just a comment from an abstract scientific perspective. But the problems we face on this planet are so huge that very few people have the training or experience to view it all, to see it all in the same field of vision. My situation was different, and I got a chance to see a lot of things because of the nature of my work. Most people don’t see it all. But I've worked with many agencies, and I have the big picture.Do you know that it’s legal to test biological and chemical agents against US citizens? It’s legal. You know, all that has to be done is to get the approval of the mayor of the city, or his equivalent in any area. Or some representative official. No-one knows this, but it can be checked out. Go look it up. It’s all carefully hidden away in the law somewhere, but it’s all in the public domain. It's all there.

You’ve revealed a whole lot of extraordinary material here in our conversation. What’s the most important message you’d like to leave people with?

Look, I don’t want to shock anyone, but I’m not optimistic. The problems facing us as a race on this planet are huge. I don't believe most civilians are ready and able to comprehend and deal with the sheer scale and complexity of it all. They have enough trouble managing their everyday lives, and these problems are on a completely different level. Overpopulation is really the biggest issue.

Everything else facing us is connected with this. You see, I can understand the military taking matters into their own hands. If there was full disclosure of all the problems, and all the proposed solutions, do you really think it would help any of us? I suggest the answer is probably not. It would just complicate matters further. But deep down I do feel that everyone should know these things, or else I would not be talking with you. The essential message I want to leave with is that I do actually hope and want to believe that we as a people can handle all this, but sometimes I wake up in the morning and doubt it, but deep down I want people to know the important things that have been kept from us all. But sometimes I do wonder. You don’t know what I haven't told you.

Out from under Majestic: Dan Burisch uncensored

A video interview with Dan Burisch - Las Vegas, July 2006
Shot, edited and directed by Kerry Lynn Cassidy

Most students and researchers of the UFO/alien phenomenon need no introduction to Dan Burisch. Articulate, provocative, human, compelling, and – as some insist – challenging to believe, Dan and his story are integral components of our efforts to understand and come to grips with the bewildering labyrinth that is the mystery of who the aliens are, why they are here, how we interact with them, and what may be at stake. When Project Camelot was granted an interview with Dan, we traveled to Las Vegas not knowing what to expect. In Dan and his colleague Marci McDowell we found two very human people whom we quickly came to like. We built an excellent relationship with them, and shot over two hours of video which we present here. Whatever you currently know, believe you know, or don't know about Dan's experiences, we think you will find it of significant interest.Dan discusses his experience in Area 51, where he befriended a captive J-rod called Chi'el'ah; his complex relationship with Chi'el'ah, extending across decades and timelines; his connection with Majestic-12; the war between Majestic and the Illuminati; the race to close down the Looking Glass technology and secure the man-made stargates leading up to 2012; the calculated chance (19%, or 1 in 5), that 4 billion people will die from natural catastrophes triggered by the activation of the manmade stargates; the twists and turns of the convergent timeline paradox that affect the aliens from the future as much as they do ourselves; and much, much more.In this unique interview, Dan is entertaining, humorous, serious, emotional, articulate and sincere, as he responds to incisive questions... all the questions we ourselves wanted to ask in order to better understand his experiences. This may be his last interview. This unique testimony will give viewers a long, close-up look at the real Dan Burisch. We hope you enjoy and appreciate your time with him as much as we did. - Go at to access the various formats for this 3-part interview

Secret – Eyes Only

A video interview with "Mr X", a former UFO archivist
Landers, California, May 2006
Shot, edited and directed by Kerry Lynn Cassidy

"Mr X", as he has come to be known, came forward quite unexpectedly in December 2005, posting a message to Bill Ryan on the Serpo website contact page. His story was unusual and important. He claimed that, back in the 1980s, he was employed by a Californian defense contractor as an archivist. Working long hours in a locked vault, he opened large mail bags full of photos, videotapes, alien artifacts, and volumes of top secret eyes-only documents that told the story behind Roswell, alien visitation and the government's careful handling of what was documented evidence of reverse engineering of alien craft. Softly spoken, polite and truthful to a fault in all appearances, Mr X was hard to ignore and impossible to disregard as anything but what he seemed to be: a hard working believer in the ET presence and courageous crusader on behalf of disclosure. He has chosen to put himself and his family on the line in coming forward. We salute him and applaud his valor.

Plea to the Awake, Aware and Outraged - By ERN subscriber Cathy Garger (Oct 11, 2006)
(...) Not content to use only the US as its personal kitty litter, the American Empire apparently feels the need to take a hot nuclear dump all over as many locations and defenseless peoples as it possibly can. Unlike elephant and donkey dung that’s left behind after a circus show, however, there’s only so much US military uranium waste products that can be shoveled up. Unlike animal waste products, however? This cheap, invisible, purposely-manufactured by-product of nuclear fission floats through the air and is both radioactive and, regrettably, not bio-degradable. The American Devil & Co. cooks up this stuff and claims to want to make the world safe for democracy, but is amazingly UN-concerned about dealing with this petty little issue about rendering the planet an unsafe, unfit place to live. New vocabulary lesson to expand our word power begins now. Can you say de-population, boys and girls? Holy GBUs, Uncle Sam! You’ve gone and made a radioactive wasteland of the Middle East! May the Earth Goddess show no mercy upon your vile and pathetic, twisted souls for leaving a whole lot more in Afghanistan and Iraq than merely “freedom and democracy” behind! CLIP Note from Jean: When I informed Cathy that I was including this excerpt above, she wrote back: "Thank you ever so much for featuring my piece. By being SO bold and brazen, I am trying to let other writers and would-be writers know that they simply must be courageous and educate one another about the untold numbers of atrocities that their s/elected leaders and the MSM are not committing - and no one is mentioning." She also informed me that after watching Carol Wolman's videoclip at and reading the Longhouse coalition platform she decided to get involved in supporting these fine people and felt "a sense of peace, ease, and joy I have not experienced in some time. I have a feeling I may have come home."

(...) Because prevailing winds have carried radioiodine dust to Europe and probably the U.S. it appears that at least half the persons on planet earth are currently breathing radioiodine. The topic of depleted uranium bombs and shells will not be discussed in the media because the world’s media is controlled by the New World Order elitists. World wide public outrage could ruin their plans to rapidly lower the world’s population by 90 % if this issue was publicly discussed. When a biologic warfare agent like the borrelia burgdorfi spirochete (Lyme Disease) turns out to spread person to person it becomes a gigantic success. We all must breath to stay alive. With at least half the persons on earth now breathing radioactive iodine the bio-warfare scientists appear to have their second big winner. Expect lung cancer deaths to rapidly increase worldwide.

Depleted Uranium: Dirty Bombs, Dirty Missiles, Dirty Bullets
Vietnam was a chemical war for oil, permanently contaminating large regions and countries downriver with Agent Orange, and environmentally the most devastating war in world history. But since 1991, the U.S. has staged four nuclear wars using depleted uranium weaponry, which, like Agent Orange, meets the U.S. government definition of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Vast regions in the Middle East and Central Asia have been permanently contaminated with radiation.

A Pathway Has Been Opened

St. Germain 03-October-2006

You are living in the most momentous times that you will have experienced in this cycle of duality. Oh yes, there has been drama and tremendous events in the past. However, you are now on the way out of it, and your success is assured in spite of the present low point reached because of the actions of the dark. A pathway has been opened that is your lighted way to a wonderful conclusion to this period, and the promise of your return to the higher realms.

We who are part of the Great White Brotherhood give help to the extent permitted, but it is you who are instrumental in setting the pace of events, and we encourage your full participation. We have not protected and guided you over eons of time, to see our efforts fall to the covert actions of the last cabal.

The time of truth is upon you, and you will notice that hidden truths are now being uncovered. For too long you have been deceived by those who have usurped it for their own ends to hold power over you. Nevertheless, those who became enlightened carried the torch of Light through these perilous times, often at risk of their own lives. Many a masterful person has come to Earth to create an opening for the Light so that it may be grounded for future generations. Often these Holy Beings have not been recognised or sought recognition, but have carried out their tasks to perfection in the name of the highest God.

Your history is full of the brave exploits and deeds of people that have understood their divine purpose whilst upon Earth. They are called and wait for their time to come forward, when heavenly forces accompany them on their journey. One such person with whom most of you are familiar is Joan of Arc, and her life story is sufficiently recent to be correctly recounted. In your own way all Lightworkers are on a mission, having contracted to serve the higher forces. You are in such numbers that your presence causes a great influx of Light, through your powers of attraction.

Understand that you already know the outcome of this cycle, and subconsciously you hold that knowledge and it carries you forward through the toughest times. It would be easy to say that you have nothing to worry about, as these are nevertheless volatile times. However, your Light is your assurance of a destiny that ends with the dissolution of matter, as you presently know it. All is changing to the higher vibration except that which chooses to remain in its present form, and shall necessarily be removed.

Where then shall that of the dark be placed, and the answer is of course in a dimension appropriate to its vibration? {Herculobas}

It cannot therefore remain much longer upon Earth, and you will see the commencement of its break up very soon. Is it not surprising that those forces that seek the destruction of all else eventually turn in upon themselves? Dear Ones, there are Universal Laws that cover the Light and dark, and only one force will ever remain supreme. The Light is of the outward manifestation of the Love force that permeates everything, and to which it owes its very existence.

The Creator has provided for all possible circumstances likely to be experienced in the Cycle of Duality. The Creator intended that in the giving of freewill you would be allowed to experience exactly as you desired. However, your Light was to be held regardless of how veiled it became, with the provision that one day you would fully return to the Light. In this knowing you will understand how important it is to try and see the Light in every soul you meet. In the Creator’s eyes all are equal, and held in Love that seeks only to restore you to the Source Of All That Is.

Presently, many are stepping forward to join forces with those who lead the legions of Light upon Earth. It gathers pace and speedily takes you forward to the point of no return. Once the new Light grids are fully empowered, the new will manifest upon Earth and entrances opened up to the higher dimensions. The wheels are in motion and the great plan for Earth is opening, and those of the Light are being gathered in for the final glory and lifting up.

In your humanness you struggle sometimes to grasp the immense importance of the time you are in, and I tell you that it is an event that draws many other Beings to Earth. In a free and open society you would already know the truth that is about to unfold, but there will soon be changes and revelations will abound. Where once was there was secrecy the truth shall come out, and much will be revealed following the declaration of world peace. Be assured that the majority of people require only to be allowed to live their lives peacefully. It is only the dark that foments conflict and chaos and set one against the other.

Let that which is a remnant of the past fade away to be replaced by all that is new and sits within your present visions of the New Age. It will happen because it is divinely decreed to be so, and is a natural progression as you firmly step on the path to Ascension. What you have now is unreal and simply a manifestation of that created to hold you subservient to those in power. You are sovereign Beings who shall soon claim back your heritage, and once again walk in the Light that carries truth and freedom with it.

Let go of the old and allow for the interim period of changes that will abound upon Earth. We allow for a gradual opening up of all that is new, as we wish you to ease yourselves into it quite naturally. Be prepared for monumental changes that will take you onwards in leaps and bounds. All plans are in readiness, and we have all travelled together along a very hard road. It will suddenly open up into glorious beauty, that tells of greater enlightenment and advancement into the highest dimensions.

I stand by you together with the mighty forces of Heaven, that have unleashed their energies to enfold you all. To provide the strength and power to illuminate your pathway, so that you may clearly see what you have to do. To lift you above all distractions and obstructions, intended to deflect you from your true path. Above all, be true to Self and allow your Light to shine out.

Thank you St. Germain.

Matters still remain very perilous as the last cabal see the final chance to continue their mayhem. They do not realise that their continual threats against the Iran alliance, is highlighting the very action that horrifies the majority of people. A sudden turn of events can take them by surprise, but the spectre of enlarging the Middle East confrontation has been hanging over those countries for quite a long time. It has been continually placed in the front line of the news, and the prospect of a total war has been found most chilling. However the continual banging of the war drums, is alerting more people than ever to the disastrous effect this would have on the whole world. Consequently, there is a rebellion gaining pace that is seeing masses of people coming out and protesting against the U.S. Government policies. There was a time when governments would hardly be challenged on them at all, and you believed that your representatives would work in your best interests. Now a different mindset is growing that no longer sees war as an answer to problems, and seeks a peaceful way to achieve satisfactory results. The mood of the people has dramatically changed, and it is empowering others who now join the protesters who are against war. Other countries are also expressing concern and the new way of thinking is gathering vast support. Changes are born out of such situations, and it is a sure sign that matters cannot continue in their present way for much longer. You the people are once again demonstrating how powerful you can be, when you find a common purpose to ignite your cause. The energies for change are going to bring the last cabal down, and you will take much credit for the results. CLIP -- Read the rest at

The Tree of Life

I want you to picture a lovely blue sky.
God created this sky, and the a part of God.
The air is very thin, and God is present in this thinness.

Beneath the sky lies a grassy field.
The soil is rich, moist, full of minerals, nutrients, and water;
all the things necessary to nourish life.
God created this soil, and the a part of God. God is present in its richness.
The the sacred Earth.

In the center of this field is a very special place,
a place where the God essence has gathered very densely.
This special place is a tall and magnificent tree.

Its stout trunk is filled with pulsing vitality.
The sap flows up from the roots, through the trunk,
up through the limbs to the slender branches, and outward to the twigs.
At the tips of the twigs are the buds, and we...are...the buds.

The sap is the essence of God; pure love and life.
If the buds could look back from where they came
they would see they are all interconnected, directly connected to God,
and that in each of them there is divinity.

God’s purpose for the bud is to drink of this essence,
to open outward to the sun, and to perform the dance of photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis is creation, freedom of expression, loving and living.
When the bud does this it nourishes itself, and invigorates the entire tree.

As your eyes drink in the beauty of the tree, the field, the sky,
you notice a subtle change.

A soft glow of golden light radiates from within all that lies around you.
You see this because your spiritual eyes have opened,
and it's with spiritual eyes this light is most visible.

Waves of rippling light, in all the colors of the rainbow,
and of rainbows you've never imagined,
wash down over your head, upon your shoulders and body,
filling you with the most delightful warmth you’ve ever felt,
the warmth of unconditional love, because you...are in the presence of God.

Your soul is in rapture...bliss.
And as you gaze out upon creation, you are filled with love.
You love the blue of the sky, the velvet green of the grass
and the glorious beauty of the tree—and now you see mankind through God’s eyes
