The Days of Infamy Series #1: A Fictitious Democracy - An Horrendous Carnage
Hello everyone
After reviewing what's in this compilation, I won't hide to you that this is possible the most depressing one I've ever put together. And I swear that I made absolutely no effort whatsoever to look for the material in it. It just came in my email box recommended by ERN subscribers like you and it puts together a rather nasty, gloomy picture of what our current world situation appears to be from the standpoint of the information herein.
This is so bad I even had to create a title for a new series, which hopefully won't be a regular occurrence...
I'm also working on a Rising Phoenix Series compilation. So if you have positive, constructive ideas and material to propose for it, by all means send it to me.
The battle is not just raging in Falluja, but is coming much closer to home now. Are we going to stand idle and merely hope for the best while our very house is being burned down by cosmic hooligans?
I prefer not to think of the consequences if we collectively fail to take appropriate actions to redress this situation.
I wish I could give you a better more inspiring spin on what's below but, sometimes, for real changes to occur, you need to have it right into your face and be given a proper reality-check rather than being offered rosy glasses to avoid seeing the mess that some very badly skewed people have created.
I still believe that ultimately Light, Love and Peace will prevail, but before that it seems inevitable that things will get worst, much worst!
Yet as you'll see in this and other coming compilations there are plenty of people working hard in the "trenches" to either reveal what's wrong or create the solutions for tomorrow. With a radical change of policies and determined, sustained investment in the proper solutions - in all fields of human activity - we can still turn our ship around and break free from the destructive path most people mindlessly follow.
Incredible new scientific breakthroughs are happening and sophisticated and yet often simple technological means are designed almost everyday and offer tantalizing possibilities for a pollution-free, much less resource-depleting world. Brilliant ideas and emerging new social and cultural experiments do offer life-affirming alternatives to today's rat race into oblivion.
On the other hand, other scientific and technological military innovations as well as cunning human brainwashing and manipulative techniques are being develop to further enslave humanity and push us into an abysmal inferno of endless destruction and death.
What can ultimately make the difference between which outcome will fully manifest and prevail is the emerging Oneness Consciousness and spiritual revolution now manifesting in the hearts of millions and millions of people.
This describes the very crux of where evolutionary trends are going right now. So let's get on with the vital Spirit-driven business we came here to accomplish and exemplify, 'cause there is no other game in this corner of the galaxy more worthy of our spiritual creative juices right now.

Associate United States Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson was the chief prosecutor at the Nuremberg Tribunal. In his report to the State Department, Justice Jackson wrote: "No political or economic situation can justify" the crime of aggression. He also said: "If certain acts in violation of treaties are crimes they are crimes whether the United States does them or whether Germany does them, and we are not prepared to lay down a rule of criminal conduct against others which we would not be willing to have invoked against us." To "soften up" the rebels, American forces dropped five 500-pound bombs on "insurgent targets." The Americans destroyed the Nazzal Emergency Hospital in the center of town. They stormed and occupied the Fallujah General Hospital, and have not agreed to allow doctors and ambulances go inside the main part of the city to help the wounded, in direct violation of the Geneva Conventions. The battle of Fallujah promises to be far more shocking and aweful than the bombardment of Baghdad that kicked off Operation "Iraqi Freedom" in April 2003. A senior Marine Corps surgeon warned that casualties will surpass any level seen since the Vietnam War. There have already been 100,000 "excess" Iraqi deaths since Bush launched his first strike on Iraq 18 months ago - that is, above and beyond those killed by Saddam Hussein, sanctions, U.S. bombings, and disease, all put together, in the 15 months prior to the invasion. A study published by the Lancet found that the risk of death by violence for Iraqi civilians is now 58 times higher than before Bush began to liberate them in April 2003. (...) The rest of the world has known for some time that it is pointless to oppose this Empire either militarily or electorally. They haven't the resources for the former and are legally barred from the latter. I think it's time the American people adopted the same philosophy. American companies have many reasons to be delighted with the Republican candidate's election. Over the last four years, the Bush administration has favored them with tax reduction, with relaxation of environmental legislation, with backing growth over budgetary orthodoxy and by allowing the dollar to slide. Companies have paid him back indeed by their unwavering support for the Republican Party. During the New York convention at the end of August hundreds of receptions were organized with big companies - ChevronTexaco, General Motors, Merrill Lynch, etc. - which expect political choices that benefit them. That is particularly the case for the pharmaceutical, energy, finance, and defense sectors. Already on Thursday November 4, in his first speech as reelected president, George Bush met their expectations by announcing his intention of making tax reductions permanent. The reduced tax rate on capital gains and dividends will be inscribed in marble. There's no longer any question of raising the minimum wage as John Kerry proposed. Pharmaceutical laboratories such as Pfizer, Bristol-Myers and Merck, whose stock prices rocketed on Wednesday and Thursday, are no longer threatened by price controls or imports of less expensive medicines from Canada. These groups tied to the health and pharmaceuticals industries have had a good understanding of where their interests lie and have given 26 million dollars to Mr. Bush and to the Republican Party in the last few months, according to figures from the Center for Responsible Policy in Washington. The new doctrine means that pre-emptive strikes against enemy satellites would become 'crucial steps in any military operation'. This week defence experts will attend a conference in London amid warnings that President Bush's re-election will pave the way to the arming of space. Internal USAF documents reveal that seizing control of the 'final frontier' is deemed essential for modern warfare. London - A draft of a parliamentary motion to impeach British Prime Minister Tony Blair accuses him of "gross misconduct" over the US-led invasion of Iraq, a newspaper said on Sunday. The Independent on Sunday said it had obtained the text of the motion from a cross-party group of MPs, adding it would be offered for debate soon after the new parliamentary session begins later this month. The motion calls for a select committee to investigate the "conduct of the PM in relation to the war in Iraq," the daily said. The committee would draw up the "articles of impeachment" and a panel of law lords would judge whether Blair deliberately misled the nation into waging an unlawful war, it said. A guilty verdict would see Blair arrested by parliament's Sergeant at Arms. UN study predicts falls in fertility but greater life expectancy - Fears that the human race may drive itself to extinction through over-population are challenged by new United Nations figures suggesting an eventual equilibrium as people in poorer countries come to understand the need for smaller families. If fertility levels continue to fall, global population will stabilise three centuries from now at around 9 billion - a far less alarming figure than many have been predicting. The latest calculation is based on "medium-level" expectations that fertility rates will decline significantly - to about two children per woman - even in developing nations, and then rise again slightly. But the report, issued by the UN's population division, gives warning that even slight variations - "as little as one-quarter of a child" - below or above this two-child norm could produce dramatic swings, resulting in world totals ranging from as little as 2.3 billion up to 36.4 billion. If fertility levels remained unchanged at today's levels, the current world population of 6.4 billion would rise to 44 billion in 2100, 244 billion in 2150 and 1.34 trillion in 2300, the UN says. The 300-year period covered by the report is twice as long as any previously attempted by the UN. Its authors stress that the figures are not forecasts but extrapolations of what would happen if current trends continued. In January of this year, I put together an article that appeared in the February issue that laid out the case for and against $50 oil. While the arguments against $50 oil have been thoroughly discredited, most market observers still do not understand that the price of oil will continue to head much higher. In this issue, I will examine several of the reasons why the price of oil will not significantly pull back from today's levels and is likely to reach the $80 mark within the next 24 months. (...) Even with today's low interest rates, spending on housing consumes a larger percentage of household income than at anytime in history. If the price of oil kept up with the price of housing, domestically produced oil would cost $95.31 a barrel today.The last reason that I believe we will see $80 oil within the next 24 months is that worldwide oil supply is dropping and prices have not yet reached levels high enough to choke off demand. Despite record gasoline prices in the US last summer, we saw demand increase 4% over 2003 levels. While Western economies will see modest demand growth due to the slow-growth nature of their economies, the developing world will see explosive demand growth for the foreseeable future. In 2004, China became the number two consumer of oil and the number two importer of oil behind the US. With Chinese oil imports up 30% from 2003 levels (despite today's record prices), it is quite clear that oil prices would have to achieve much higher levels before Chinese demand recedes.What does $80 oil mean for investors? Quite a lot. It is difficult to overstate the impact that $80 oil will have on every unhedged publicly traded oil and gas producer. While most companies in North America are extremely profitable at $35 oil, $80 oil will generate earnings that will dwarf the so-called "windfall profits" of the 1970s. While many Wall Street and Bay Street analysts continue to use $35 oil in their assumptions for 2005, savvy investors should realize that the average price for oil will be far higher and should adjust their portfolios accordingly.

The U.S. has surrounded the sealed off City of Fallujah and is preparing to launch the complete destruction of the city. They have told the people that any traffic on the street is now subject to attack and any males between the ages of 15 and 55 who go outside will automatically be killed by the U.S. soldiers.
Top U.S. Marine in Iraq Calls for Massacre in Fallujah
The U.S. is terrorizing and bombing the citizens of Fallujah every night, recently targeting and fully destroying its emergency hospital, collapsing homes around families, dismembering children. Many of the 300,000 population have fled for their lives, everything they have ever had left behind or destroyed.
Now the top enlisted Marine in Iraq has called on his troops to commit war crimes against the tens of thousands of remaining residents and what stands of that proud and historic city. Referring to the assault on the ancient citadel city of Hue, destroyed by U.S. soldiers in Vietnam, Sgt. Maj. Carlton W. Kent told an assembled group of 2,500 Marines in a "pep-talk": "You're all in the process of making history. This is another Hue city in the making. I have no doubt, if we do get the word, that each and every one of you is going to do what you have always done - kick some butt." (AP, November 7 2004)
The U.S. moved to reoccupy Hue after Vietnamese forces has liberated it in the Tet Offensive of 1968. The Under Secretary of the Air Force, Townsend Hoopes, described the results of the U.S. assault on Hue in a March 1968 memo as leaving "a devastated and prostrate city. Eighty per cent of the buildings had been reduced to rubble, and in the smashed ruins lay 2,000 dead civilians... Three quarters of the city's people were rendered homeless and looting was widespread, members of the ARVN [U.S. backed South Vietnamese troops] being the worst offenders." The resistance in Iraq is carrying out coordinated efforts across the country to dislodge U.S. occupation forces with attacks on police stations and other targeted representatives of U.S. puppet installations. In recent days many U.S. soldiers have been badly wounded and there is more to come as the U.S. military leadership predicts the most bloody urban fighting since Vietnam. The U.S. is using all of its firepower, night vision, high-tech weaponry, and bombing capacity against defenseless civilians as well as resistance fighters primarily armed with Kalishnakov rifles and improvised explosive devises. With all this military might, the U.S. is unable to stop the Iraqi people from fighting for their national sovereignty. The U.S. installed "prime minister" of Iraq has today declared martial law in Iraq for the next two months aggregating even greater unilateral authority.
This is no time for anti-war and progressive people in the U.S. to "mourn," dwell and lament on the failure of the Democratic Party candidate to defeat the Republican Party candidate, at least not those who are really committed to ending this criminal war and securing justice at home. If nothing else, we all know that if Kerry was President-elect, nothing would be different for the people of Iraq right now. Kerry has not condemned the bombings of Falluljah at any point, nor the attacks on the Iraqi people, nor the use of U.S. soldiers as cannon fodder in this war of aggression and conquest.
Now the people of Fallujah wait for the next attack, and the U.S. soldiers wait for their orders to carry out actions that they will have to reconcile for the rest of their lives, if they survive.

Elections and the Specter of Things Unseen

The day before the election, I visited Albuquerque and Las Vegas. Up close, I saw hundreds of people involved in vigorous get-out-the-vote efforts. Most were young; they seemed very idealistic. These Americans had an opportunity to make a difference, and -- brought together by labor unions and such groups as the MoveOn PAC -- they took it.
Watching the election returns scarcely 24 hours later, I kept an eye on the results from New Mexico and Nevada. The vote tallies were close in both states because of such activism; otherwise, the Bush-Cheney ticket would have won easily.
On Wednesday, as the pundits kept chattering on television, I thought about how far removed the TV studios and newsrooms tend to be from the active idealism of the grassroots. All over this country, literally millions of people cherish the belief that what they choose to do can make a difference. A big difference.
This belief propels many people in daily life. Yet much of the internal language of such political commitment gets lost in media translation. By the time we see accounts of political campaigns on the small screen or in print, the sound-bitten images rarely rise above a flat rendition of typecast media characters.
The passion for social justice is not a favorite media topic. On the TV news, a few seconds or even minutes are almost sure to convey little of substance. But the people I saw in New Mexico and Nevada were a far cry from the two-dimensional cutouts that so often populate the news-media landscape. Canvassing neighborhoods and passing out literature and doing all sorts of tedious necessary tasks, they were determined and inspiring.
On election eve, in a low-income Las Vegas housing project, the light was dimming and cold winds were gaining velocity as residents opened their doors and took literature from pro-Kerry canvassers. History would undergo a shift 24 hours later. The people living here, mostly African-American and Latino, would watch the TV networks and see an electoral triumph for the same president who had spent four years siding with the rich at the expense of everyone else.
The painful, gut-wrenching consequences of poverty, and the idealism of progressive social activism, don't fit in well between upbeat commercials for everything from mouthwash to credit cards to new cars. The predominant message of advertising-driven media -- explicit in the ads and often infusing the media "content" as well -- is that life can be great if only we do as we're being encouraged to do. Buy the product (merchandise or a sociopolitical mindset), whether with cash or with tacit acceptance. And don't rock corporate boats.
The young people who I met in Albuquerque and Las Vegas were boat-rockers. They had no use for the anesthetizing messages of mainstream media, and vice versa. They were about thinking and feeling and helping to create history, not merely watching it go by.
Part of life, we all learn and relearn, is disappointment: sometimes fleeting, sometimes profound and enduring. For those who have yearned to evict George W. Bush from the White House, the election results are in the category of profound loss. What has occurred will have enormous negative effects on this country and the rest of the world. Yet it's also true that the presidential election of Nov. 2, 2004, is prologue.
Remaining is a vital message of the literally millions of people who worked actively for regime change in Washington this year: We will not be passive. We decline to simply accept what is dished out by the powers that be -- more war, less justice, even more extreme economic disparities, less democracy. We won't give up. We are still here, and we're not going away. No matter what the news media say.
In the next year, the news will be filled with coverage of the war in Iraq, the nomination of at least one new Supreme Court justice, proposals for tax cuts and any number of other momentous issues that have not been settled by this election. We will need vibrant idealism and political activism as much as ever.

I personally worked early voting in Dallas, TX and saw first hand the ES&S iVotronic machines make errors. In each case a voter selecting a straight democratic ticket would be shocked to see one or more republican show up on the summary page. I never saw an error of the reverse kind.
Combined with Thom Hartmann's article, the article linked above, and my own personal observations, it all adds up to be a very suspect election.
On another board, one of the activists mentioned in the above articles has stated that her high-placed TV sources are saying the media is on lock down over voter fraud. In other words it will be up the people to spread the word.

November 7, 2004: An urgent request has been issued to specifically bombard CNN's Crossfire (home of Paul Begala and James Carville) with calls telling them the election was hacked. Call 202 898 7651. Networks continue to scapegoat exit polling to explain anomalies that occurred in the presidential election on November 2, and refuse to examine the possibility of vote mistabulation or errors with electronic voting equipment. Additionally, they fail to question the practice of tossing out millions of so-called "spoiled" legal ballots, a higher number of which are cast by minority voters.
Efforts are underway to enlist nationally known progressive voices, computer scientists, non-partisan academicans, and organizers to participate in specific pro-active measures designed to empower disenfranchised voters and to re-engage a perplexed citizenry following last week's utterly disappointing election. A record number of voters turned out who were identified by independent pollsters as "trending toward" or supporters of the Democratic candidate, John Kerry.
Associates of Bev Harris have asked supporters who anxiously await results of her investigation to remain calm and give Bev the time she needs to analyze voting data received from county elections officials. She is presently receiving a high volume of mail and would appreciate everybody's patience. While groups plan to challenge widespread voter irregularities beginning this week, it is believed protesting without a solid factual basis does not help further the case at this time. Establishment of a legal defense fund is in the works.
"It may be better to consolidate and conserve the energy for future actions when the examination of electronic voting equipment is complete and results are known," states Kat L'Estrange, organizer of the WE DO NOT CONCEDE Coalition. "Until that time, please continue to write letters to the editors in local newspapers urging democracy-loving folks in your communities not to concede their votes. Evidence Mounts That The Vote Was Hacked

When I spoke with Jeff Fisher this morning (Saturday, November 06, 2004), the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida's 16th District said he was waiting for the FBI to show up. Fisher has evidence, he says, not only that the Florida election was hacked, but of who hacked it and how. And not just this year, he said, but that these same people had previously hacked the Democratic primary race in 2002 so that Jeb Bush would not have to run against Janet Reno, who presented a real threat to Jeb, but instead against Bill McBride, who Jeb beat.
"It was practice for a national effort," Fisher told me.
And some believe evidence is accumulating that the national effort happened on November 2, 2004.
The State of Florida, for example, publishes a county-by-county record of votes cast and people registered to vote by party affiliation. Net denizen Kathy Dopp compiled the official state information into a table, available at http://ustogether.org/Florida_Election.htm, and noticed something startling.
While the heavily scrutinized touch-screen voting machines seemed to produce results in which the registered Democrat/Republican ratios largely matched the Kerry/Bush vote, in Florida's counties using results from optically scanned paper ballots -- fed into a central tabulator PC and thus vulnerable to hacking -- the results seem to contain substantial anomalies.
In Baker County, for example, with 12,887 registered voters, 69.3% of them Democrats and 24.3% of them Republicans, the vote was only 2,180 for Kerry and 7,738 for Bush, the opposite of what is seen everywhere else in the country where registered Democrats largely voted for Kerry.
In Dixie County, with 4,988 registered voters, 77.5% of them Democrats and a mere 15% registered as Republicans, only 1,959 people voted for Kerry, but 4,433 voted for Bush.
The pattern repeats over and over again -- but only in the counties where optical scanners were used. Franklin County, 77.3% registered Democrats, went 58.5% for Bush. Holmes County, 72.7% registered Democrats, went 77.25% for Bush.
Yet in the touch-screen counties, where investigators may have been more vigorously looking for such anomalies, high percentages of registered Democrats generally equaled high percentages of votes for Kerry. (I had earlier reported that county size was a variable – this turns out not to be the case. Just the use of touch-screens versus optical scanners.)

While all of this may or may not be evidence of vote tampering, it again brings the nation back to the question of why several states using electronic voting machines or scanners programmed by private, for-profit corporations and often connected to modems produced votes inconsistent with exit poll numbers.
Those exit poll results have been a problem for reporters ever since Election Day.
Election night, I'd been doing live election coverage for WDEV, one of the radio stations that carries my syndicated show, and, just after midnight, during the 12:20 a.m. Associated Press Radio News feed, I was startled to hear the reporter detail how Karen Hughes had earlier sat George W. Bush down to inform him that he'd lost the election. The exit polls were clear: Kerry was winning in a landslide. "Bush took the news stoically," noted the AP report.
But then the computers reported something different. In several pivotal states.
Conservatives see a conspiracy here: They think the exit polls were rigged.
Dick Morris, the infamous political consultant to the first Clinton campaign who became a Republican consultant and Fox News regular, wrote an article for The Hill, the publication read by every political junkie in Washington, DC, in which he made a couple of brilliant points.
"Exit Polls are almost never wrong," Morris wrote. "They eliminate the two major potential fallacies in survey research by correctly separating actual voters from those who pretend they will cast ballots but never do and by substituting actual observation for guesswork in judging the relative turnout of different parts of the state."
He added: "So, according to ABC-TVs exit polls, for example, Kerry was slated to carry Florida, Ohio, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, and Iowa, all of which Bush carried. The only swing state the network had going to Bush was West Virginia, which the president won by 10 points."
Yet a few hours after the exit polls were showing a clear Kerry sweep, as the computerized vote numbers began to come in from the various states the election was called for Bush.
How could this happen?
On the CNBC TV show "Topic A With Tina Brown," several months ago, Howard Dean had filled in for Tina Brown as guest host.His guest was Bev Harris, the Seattle grandmother who started www.blackboxvoting.org from her living room. Bev pointed out that regardless of how votes were tabulated (other than hand counts, only done in odd places like small towns in Vermont), the real "counting" is done by computers. Be they Diebold Opti-Scan machines, which read paper ballots filled in by pencil or ink in the voter's hand, or the scanners that read punch cards, or the machines that simply record a touch of the screen, in all cases the final tally is sent to a "central tabulator" machine.
That central tabulator computer is a Windows-based PC.
"In a voting system," Harris explained to Dean on national television, "you have all the different voting machines at all the different polling places, sometimes, as in a county like mine, there's a thousand polling places in a single county. All those machines feed into the one machine so it can add up all the votes. So, of course, if you were going to do something you shouldn't to a voting machine, would it be more convenient to do it to each of the 4000 machines, or just come in here and deal with all of them at once?"
Dean nodded in rhetorical agreement, and Harris continued. "What surprises people is that the central tabulator is just a PC, like what you and I use. It's just a regular computer."
"So," Dean said, "anybody who can hack into a PC can hack into a central tabulator?"
Harris nodded affirmation, and pointed out how Diebold uses a program called GEMS, which fills the screen of the PC and effectively turns it into the central tabulator system. "This is the official program that the County Supervisor sees," she said, pointing to a PC that was sitting between them loaded with Diebold's software.
Bev then had Dean open the GEMS program to see the results of a test election. They went to the screen titled "Election Summary Report" and waited a moment while the PC "adds up all the votes from all the various precincts," and then saw that in this faux election Howard Dean had 1000 votes, Lex Luthor had 500, and Tiger Woods had none. Dean was winning.
"Of course, you can't tamper with this software," Harris noted. Diebold wrote a pretty good program.
But, it's running on a Windows PC.
So Harris had Dean close the Diebold GEMS software, go back to the normal Windows PC desktop, click on the "My Computer" icon, choose "Local Disk C:," open the folder titled GEMS, and open the sub-folder "LocalDB" which, Harris noted, "stands for local database, that's where they keep the votes." Harris then had Dean double-click on a file in that folder titled "Central Tabulator Votes," which caused the PC to open the vote count in a database program like Excel.
In the "Sum of the Candidates" row of numbers, she found that in one precinct Dean had received 800 votes and Lex Luthor had gotten 400.
"Let's just flip those," Harris said, as Dean cut and pasted the numbers from one cell into the other. "And," she added magnanimously, "let's give 100 votes to Tiger."
They closed the database, went back into the official GEMS software "the legitimate way, you're the county supervisor and you're checking on the progress of your election."
As the screen displayed the official voter tabulation, Harris said, "And you can see now that Howard Dean has only 500 votes, Lex Luthor has 900, and Tiger Woods has 100." Dean, the winner, was now the loser.
Harris sat up a bit straighter, smiled, and said, "We just edited an election, and it took us 90 seconds."
On live national television. (You can see the clip on www.votergate.tv.) And they had left no tracks whatsoever, Harris said, noting that it would be nearly impossible for the election software – or a County election official -- to know that the vote database had been altered.
Which brings us back to Morris and those pesky exit polls that had Karen Hughes telling George W. Bush that he'd lost the election in a landslide.
Morris's conspiracy theory is that the exit polls "were sabotage" to cause people in the western states to not bother voting for Bush, since the networks would call the election based on the exit polls for Kerry. But the networks didn't do that, and had never intended to.
According to congressional candidate Fisher, it makes far more sense that the exit polls were right -- they weren't done on Diebold PCs -- and that the vote itself was hacked.
And not only for the presidential candidate -- Jeff Fisher thinks this hit him and pretty much every other Democratic candidate for national office in the most-hacked swing states.
So far, the only national "mainstream" media to come close to this story was Keith Olbermann on his show Friday night, November 5th, when he noted that it was curious that all the voting machine irregularities so far uncovered seem to favor Bush. In the meantime, the Washington Post and other media are now going through single-bullet-theory-like contortions to explain how the exit polls had failed.
But I agree with Fox's Dick Morris on this one, at least in large part. Wrapping up his story for The Hill, Morris wrote in his final paragraph, "This was no mere mistake. Exit polls cannot be as wrong across the board as they were on election night. I suspect foul play."

Hello! I believe what we have here as far as the 2004 elections is a close tie between the devil and God. Not Kerry and Bush. And God prevailed obviously and placed the most morale person in office during the "end times".
Abortion and Christanity are reasons for my voting for Bush along with the gay marriage ban! I have been rejoicing since Bush's (the good Lord aboves Win!) victory. He is a family and moral man and believes in the sanctity of marriage, honesty, anti-choice/pro life. He is going back to the beliefs of our founding fathers of the U.S.A.

What you have just read demonstrates how powerfully these people in Washington, in cooperation with media, tele-evangelists, right wing pundits and authors, and even local ministers, have through outrageous polarization created mindless, belief-driven drones who clearly have lost all ability to discern true good from true evil.
They have completely abandoned the warnings of Christ regarding false Christ's, false prophets and those who would 'come in His name', accepting them as genuine God-chosen leaders, with the perfect blend of psychotic nationalism and fundamentalism that can only lead to serious disaster. These people are fully convinced and persuaded that George Bush and the political party they lay claim to is just one step from holy; special, set apart from the sinful world and sinful, evil "democrats" "independents" and other Satanic non-republican/NeoCons, chosen by God, led by God, and most specifically, ordained by Jesus Christ, Himself.
They are so polarized that, as the letter above reveals, they truly believe the political opposition to be either evil, of the devil or somehow backed by Satan and clearly rejected by God. The writer of the letter sees George Bush as the hand picked man of God to lead America; even the world.
It makes me wonder what she thought of President Clinton, who was also apparently chosen by God; in fact, over Pat Robertson, a minister of the Gospel!
This is so close to worship that it is quite scary. This person is no longer making political evaluations based on facts or reality, but upon a new Christian faith suited just for US politics, created and formulated by NeoCons and others. Their Jesus is clearly not the Jesus of scripture, but a new Jesus, and Bush is His Pope.
The new Jesus is a warlord, who calls upon his earthly minions to smite evil -- whereas the Jesus of scripture says the exact opposite. The new Jesus desires to see government conformed to Christianity -- whereas the Jesus of scripture had no regard for earthly goverment, neither did any of his Apostles seek to change government.
The new Jesus believes in killing for peace, whereas the Jesus of scripture called for self-sacrifice over all, and never doing harm to another, even when wronged. The new Jesus is clearly a capitalist and favors corporate America over all -- whereas the Jesus of scripture held no reguard for business or profit making whatsoever, but gave freely and taught his followers to do likewise.
These NeoChristians have so lost their way that they represent a perfect picture of everything the prophets, Christ and the Apostles warned about regarding the seductive power of evil in the likeness of good, "for do not marvel, that Satan comes as an angel of light and his ministers as ministers of the paths of righteousness." They are the perfect example of how easy it will be for the forth coming Antichrist to bring about what Paul called "a great falling away" from the faith, when the man of sin is revealed. Through a false peace, and promise of security, he will destroy the many.
The George Bush this woman has placed her faith in to such an enormous degree is the same George Bush who, while claiming to be a Christian, put to death Carla Faye Tucker, who asked only that her death sentenced be changed to life in prison, so that she could continue her prison ministry for Christ, which she had labored over for 14 years while behind bars for a crime she committed while in drug-induced stupor as a teenager. The same George Bush who saw fit to silence the voice of the Gospel of salvation in Christ through Carla via execution, claiming he could not even stay her execution, much less commute her sentence to life in prison. The same George Bush who turned right around and stayed the execution of serial killer and sexual predator Henry Lee Lucas, allowing him to live out his life in prison and die of natural causes behind bars, while doing numerous television interviews and flaunting his grinning, Satanic face for media-hogs lapping up the blood of his sordid tales of rape, mutilation and murder.
Her reasoning is beyond comprehension. The world hates George Bush, so he MUST be approved by God, because Jesus was also hated by the world. This kind of twisted rationale is precisely the kind of retarded pablum being served in Churches and on Christian television across the nation to the ignorant and gullible. The disdain for Bush comes from him being so like Jesus. It sounds like something Sean Hannity might actually spout, with a straight face. It's enough to make one vomit.
The mass murderer Pol Pot was hated by the world, ipso facto, he MUST have been approved of God and doing the right thing. If this is the level of discernment and intellect NeoChristianity is creating in the sheeple, there is going to be serious hell to pay. Christians worth their salt and aware had better take these poor brothers and sisters aside and do everything they can to unscramble their poor brains, before it's too late.
Whether one believes in the prophets or not, the letter above is a chilling reminder of just how unhinged and divorced from reality well meaning people can be taken, with just the right finely tuned influences and forces. Every thinking Christian should distance him or herself openly, vocally, loudly and clearly from everything and anything having to do with this psychotic ilk, not only for the sake of Christ, but for the sake of the nation.

The main thing to ask in any election is "who is counting the votes and how can it be verified that the count is accurate?" Pretty much if an organized group of people have the money, power and intent, they can "rig" almost any election. It all happens so fast. Most elections are over in a 24 hour period. The people manning the voting booths are not properly trained. Things are pretty loose at voting places. As reported some votes disappear, some votes are "accidentally" thrown in the trash, some people are prevented from voting and have no time to challenge this etc. etc. etc.
The corruption in 2004 was so blatant and could be seen by the way the election ended. Here was Kerry conceding the election BEFORE all the votes were counted in Ohio. The election "looked" very close, but the Kerry team never called for any recounts in any State. Kerry and his campaign team either had to be deaf, dumb and blind to not know that the electronic voting machines were NOT secure and trustworthy and left no paper trail of individual votes, and that the votes could not be properly audited. Votes could be changed with the click of a mouse. The four companies that made the electronic voting machines just happened to be linked to the Republican party. One executive of one of the voting machine companies made a statement committing himself to deliver votes to Bush. Yet Kerry and the Democrats never went to court BEFORE the election to challenge this potential criminal fraud from happening.
Come on folks! How much more crap do the Illuminati have to throw in the People's faces before they see the Illuminati manipulation? Americans stood in long lines to vote, when all along the Illuminati had already CHOSEN Bush to continue to lead the American people on the path to death and destruction of Planet Earth. I might also have called it "Way Worse Than 'I Told You So'" after having written for months, even years, that the charade we have just witnessed, called an election, would be a repeat performance of the coup d'etat of 2000. Some months ago, I wrote an article entitled "Why I Will Not Vote in 2004" and incurred the wrath of those folks who were hellbent on voting for the "lesser evil." They could not grasp my position because their paradigm would not allow them to do so. Their paradigm goes something like this: We are still living in a democracy, although we are about to lose it, and we will lose it if G.W. Bush gets elected. So even though John Kerry is an imperialist, corporate lap dog-suck-up, we can "elect him and then fight him." Never mind that Kerry IS the ruling elite and is the embodiment of the neoliberal establishment which seeks kinder, gentler world domination and social legislation domestically that dutifully buttresses the agenda of corporate capitalism while pretending to "regulate" it. These individuals are in this moment nursing their broken hearts that Kerry lost but grasping at whatever straws of hope they might find for 2008. What they also don't get is that there isn't going to BE a 2008-well yes, there will be a 2008, but it is highly unlikely that it will include a Presidential election, and if it does, it won't be a clean, fair, equitable, democratic one.
What few people in America understand, despite the astute observations of millions of individuals around the world, is that we are living in an empire, and we are no longer living in a democracy. Every last semblance of democracy in our nation that, in our desperate denial, we leave our claw marks on, is evaporating with each tick of the clock.. America's allies and enemies internationally are calling like it is: Within four years, the so-called democratic republic of the United States will be unrecognizable. Without question, we can expect the destruction of Roe v. Wade, the packing of the Supreme Court with Christian fascist maniacs, the invasion of Iran, Syria, North Korea, and Colombia, to name a few. Even more horrifying is the likelihood that one of the cavalier, oil-sucking exploits will end up in a nuclear exchange. We can count on a ghastly tanking of the U.S. economy and a government policy of privatization (piratization?) on steroids. Endless versions of and addendums to the Patriot Act will become the law of the land, and another terrorist attack, deliberately planned, orchestrated and financed by persons in the U.S. government and the energy and financial sectors will almost certainly occur. It will undoubtedly catapult the nation into Code Red and martial law. The folks who could not grasp the futility of voting for a corporate candidate or a third-party candidate who cannot possibly win have not allowed themselves to comprehend that the Machiavelli-worshipping neoconservatives of the Bush Crime Family WILL NEVER, I said, WILL NEVER, turn over this government willingly-not in 2004, not in 2008, not EVER. They proudly proclaim that they have no problem with doing WHATEVER is required to remain in power. That includes rigging elections, assassinations, book-cooking, and above all, carefully crafting their personal propaganda machine, the American corporate media.
When an old paradigm no longer serves its adherents, serving the paradigm becomes absurdly self-destructive. Already, liberal democrats are delusionally thinking about the election they naively assume will happen in 2008, determined to resuscitate the decrepit, dying paradigm which fantacizes that some Hillary or some Obama will save us. When people understand the term, "fascist empire," and when they fully grasp that they are living in one, they will no longer waste precious physical, mental, or spiritual energy applying the bandaids of defunct democracy to the cancer of world domination and domestic devourment.
On September 11, 2001, all the rules and paradigms of our post-Cold War world were incinerated in the ashes of Ground Zero. For the past three years, 9-11 researchers (not the ones that produce substandard fiction like the 9-11 Commission Report) have gathered enough evidence to convict and imprison for life as war criminals the perpetrators many times over. Hint: The perpetrators were not Islamic terrorists, although Islamic terrorists were used as intelligence assets by the United States government to commit the atrocities. When we understand the motive, means, and opportunity (the three factors all criminal investigators examine first, but which the Kean Commission couldn't be bothered with) of September 11, we will understand unequivocally that we no longer live in a democratic republic, but rather a burgeoning fascist empire. Both corporate candidates of 2004 have been aware of the realities of Peak Oil, but had they to come clean with the American people, they would have risked putting the markets and the citizenry in chaos, not to mention decreasing the value of their own oil stocks. Peak Oil is a global energy crisis of a magnitude previously unknown to the human race and will cause food prices to skyrocket and the American way of life as we know it to disappear. It means the end of sustainability and growth on planet earth. No candidate who seriously aspires to receiving votes can even think about discussing this issue.
Some uninformed individuals erroneously insist that Peak Oil is a scam perpetrated by oil companies and vehemently attack those of us who take it seriously. In response to them, I would offer a paraphrase from Dale Allen Pfieffer: Peak Oil does not need to be defended; it will defend itself quite effectively within the next decade. So what solutions do I propose?
First, we must willing to face the reality that we do, in fact, live in an empire and that that empire is plummeting headlong into unrestrained fascism. This means the death of our relentless fantasies that we still live in a democracy or that the old paradigm based "electing the right candidate" can serve us. We have had three corrupt elections in America in the past four years. Continuing to believe that we will have a clean one in 2008 is tantamount to insisting that the earth is flat.
Secondly, we can join with millions-yes millions, of Americans who will not swallow the foul, fairytale version of what happened on September 11, 2001. Rather than obsessing over who might be the "right" candidate to "save" us, we can choose to work in a grassroots movement with victims' families and other truth-demanding citizens for a totally transparent investigation of that watershed moment in time which the empire will continue to use to justify its devourment of other nations and its own citizens. I believe that a grassroots movement of 9-11 truth-tellers has the potential for total transformation of the political landscape of the United States, and I personally will settle for nothing less than that level of social and political renovation.
In addition, it behooves us to begin to massively conserve energy on an unprecedented scale and learn how to grow our own food, as well as learn techniques of emergency and non-traditional health care. More than ever, after witnessing yet another coup d' etat on November 2, 2004, I celebrate W.E.B. Dubois' assessment that "the two parties have combined against us to nullify our power by a 'gentlemen's agreement' of non-recognition, no matter how we vote...May God write us down as asses if ever again we are found putting our trust in either Republican or the Democratic parties."

The 50th anniversary conference of the elite group – which many believe conspires semi-annually to foster global government – met June 3 through June 6 in Stresa, Italy, at the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees.
Among the attendees from the U.S., according to a list obtained by WND, were Senators John Edwards, D-N.C. and Jon Corzine, D-N.J., Henry Kissinger, Richard Perle, Melinda Gates (wife of Bill Gates), David Rockefeller, Timothy F. Geithner, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Donald Graham, chairman and CEO of the Washington Post Company, and even Ralph Reed, former head of the Christian Coalition.

Several people pointed to the secretive and exclusive Bilderberg conference of some 120 people that this year drew the likes of Henry A. Kissinger, Melinda Gates and Richard A. Perle to Stresa, Italy, in early June, as helping win Mr. Kerry's heart. Mr. Edwards spoke so well in a debate on American politics with the Republican Ralph Reed that participants broke Bilderberg rules to clap before the end of the session. Beforehand, Mr. Edwards traveled to Brussels to meet with NATO officials, brandishing his foreign-policy credentials.
"His performance at Bilderberg was important," said a friend of Mr. Kerry who was there. "He reported back directly to Kerry. There were other reports on his performance. Whether they reported directly or indirectly, I have no doubt the word got back to Mr. Kerry about how well he did."
Since 1953, the Bilderberg group has convened government, business, academic and journalistic representatives from the U.S., Canada and Europe with the express purpose of exploring the future of the North Atlantic community.
According to sources that have penetrated the high-security meetings in the past, the Bilderberg meetings emphasize a globalist agenda and promote the idea that the notion of national sovereignty is antiquated and regressive.
'Shadowy aura'
"It's officially described as a private gathering," noted a BBC report last year, "but with a guest list including the heads of European and American corporations, political leaders and a few intellectuals, it's one of the most influential organizations on the planet."
And according to a BBC report on June's conference in Stresa: "Not a word of what is said at Bilderberg meetings can be breathed outside. No reporters are invited in and while confidential minutes of meetings are taken, names are not noted. The shadowy aura extends further – the anonymous answerphone message, for example; the fact that conference venues are kept secret. The group, which includes luminaries such as Henry Kissinger and former UK chancellor Kenneth Clarke, does not even have a website."
But, counter participants, the secrecy is not evidence of a grand conspiracy, but only an opportunity to speak frankly with other world leaders out of the limelight of press coverage and its inevitable repercussions.
"There's absolutely nothing in it," argues the UK's Lord Denis Healey, one of the four founders of Bilderberg. "We never sought to reach a consensus on the big issues at Bilderberg," he told the BBC. "It's simply a place for discussion."

House Dems Seek Election Inquiry

Three congressmen sent a letter to the General Accounting Office on Friday requesting an investigation into irregularities with voting machines used in Tuesday's elections.
The congressmen, Democratic members of the House of Representatives from Florida, New York and Michigan, cited a number of incidents that came to light in the days after the election. One was a glitch in Ohio that caused a memory card reader made by Danaher Controls to give George W. Bush 3,893 more votes than he should have received. Another was a problem with memory cards in North Carolina that caused machines made by UniLect to lose 4,500 votes cast on e-voting machines. The votes were lost when the number of votes cast on the machines exceeded the capacity of the memory cards.
There were also problems with machines that counted absentee ballots in Florida. Software made by Election Systems & Software began subtracting votes when totals surpassed 32,000. Officials said the problem affected only certain countywide races on one of the last pages of the ballot. Elections officials knew about the problem two years ago, but the company failed to fix the software before the election this year.
Reports from voters in Florida and Ohio also indicated that some of them had problems voting for the candidate of their choice. When they tried to vote for John Kerry, they said, the machine either wouldn't register the vote at all or would indicate on the review page that the vote was cast for Bush instead.
In their letter, representatives John Conyers Jr. of Michigan, Jerrold Nadler of New York and Robert Wexler of Florida asked the GAO to "immediately undertake an investigation of the efficacy of voting machines and new technologies used in the 2004 election, how election officials responded to difficulties they encountered and what we can do in the future to improve our election systems and administration."
John Doty, spokesman for Nadler, said the congressmen emphasized that they were not seeking a nationwide recount and were not anticipating that an investigation would change the outcome of the election.
"But we do want to make sure that where there are problems they're fixed so that it won't affect other elections in the future," Doty said. "We want to make sure that people can be confident in the system."
Doty said, however, that if the GAO does find a lot more problems that haven't yet been reported, then people will at least know about them and be able to decide what to do about them.
"We're hopeful that the GAO does not find such terrible irregularities that it would demonstrate widespread problems," Doty said.
No one was available at the office of the GAO to respond to questions. But a GAO representative told Wired News in September that the agency was planning to produce a report on e-voting after the election anyway.
