Last feedbacks on The Time of Reckoning

Here are more feedbacks, some to the original Time of Reckoning letter, some, like
this first one below from Palden Jenkins, on all your feedbacks to this letter.
Palden, who has been himself a fine leader in a number of his initiatives for peace, sensed that there could be a bit of an overreaction here on the part of many people regarding the role played by Simon. Knowing from experience, I can concur that the role of a leader - which many of the people on this list are led to play in their own life - is certainly a delicate
one which require both integrity, clarity of intentions and a certain measure of,
well, leadership, which implies that someone has got to facilitate the emergence
of consensual decisions or go ahead and make some kind of decision when it has to come down
to it. And at the same time, the people participating in such group decisions - or
as students of any teacher and spiritual leader as is often the case - also have
to exercize their responsibility in not "handing their power away" as Palden writes below.
So I concur to some extent with his argument, although in the case of Simon as I'm
explaining to him in a separate email, we are faced with a very cunning and treacherous,
manipulative person who is himself a somewhat unconscious pawn in the hands of some
quite nasty powerful forces (as a psychic healer has discovered when working on "clearing"
ex TF members of any residual influence from Simon) which are there, of course to
teach him and anyone else involved some essential lessons about being faithful to
what one really feels and not falling prey to the darker side of the human nature being
used by the opposing forces in the realm of duality where we all live.
I would even go as far as to say that we are *all* to some extent being bombarded
by the collective accumulated negative energies pervading this world and thus our
minds, hearts and souls are literally the battlegrounds for an ongoing, eons long
battle between the negative and positive polarities of this duality based universe. Therefore
when we consciously decide to stop threading the path of darkness and separativeness
in our very thoughts, feelings and words and choose instead to open up our entire
being to serve as a conduit and benevolent instrument to further the healing work of the
Universal One that is to soon transform and transmute, through our assistance, all
those negative energies* into their magnificent Light-infused counterparts, we then
all contribute to insuring victory in this soon-to-end dark age for the Forces of Light.
And in playing out this universal drama, we are perhaps, in a sense, enacting the
very purpose of what Life and this mighty Universe are all about. But this is all
part of the mysteries still awaiting to be contemplated and *in*derstood with the
beholding eyes of the One Soul that we all are.

for our learning experiences and create the necessary trials we all need to go through
to develop the qualities of steadfastness, true balance and spiritual integrity required to "graduate" to the next level of life's ever unfolding and ever expanding

Hello again, Jean
Some of the responses to your e-mail are a little bit fierce, and I'd like
to point out that it's important for people not to simply react to these
matters in a partisan anti-guru (anti-father) way. It's important to have
compassion and understanding in these matters, and not just to resort to
current ideology. Every one of us has benefited from teachers, and we'd
better own it!
And while it is true that spiritual self-determination is important in our
day and age, may it not become a new form of spiritual separativeness or an
unwillingness to join together, as a result of (perhaps neurotic) aversion
to people with leadership skills! For, no matter how people feel about
teachers, leaders and fathers, we still need them.
The issue, I would suggest, is not outright rejection of suh people as
Simon - this, in reality is a bit naive, ideologically-rooted and, may I
say, a symptom of a tendency to follow fashionable forms of iconoclasm than
to think independently and apply our real learnings from life-experience.
In my view.
The question is intelligent and conscious leadership/facilitation and
intelligent and conscious support by others whose speciality isn't
leadership/facilitation. The subtle issue here is that leaders may lead
without taking people's power, and people may work with leaders without
handing their power away. People who react aggressively to teachers/gurus
are perhaps reacting against their own tendency to hand away their power!
I'm sure those of your readers who have longterm experience in large-group
dynamics will understand what I mean here. In my observation, leaderless
groups are fine if you want to explore the intricacies of group process,
but it is unusual that they achieve much or stay on course. Meanwhile,
leaders can help groups achieve objectives, though if they lead by
controlling, the objectives are often corrupted. We're stuck in the middle
with a challenge to work this matter well, and the blame for failures in
group and social process lies with 'We, the People', not with 'They, the
bosses' (who are people too).
Meanwhile, watch for inverse judgementalism, everyone! We all have
something to learn from this guy Simon, and it's slightly medieval to
pillory and lambast the guy, whatever the errors are that he is truly
committing! We all have screwed-up upbringings, and, speaking as an
astrologer, in my observation the vast majority of people in the new age
movement have very large parental issues! Which is both a problem for all
of us and a motivator to find solutions and break through to something else.
A book I've recently published on the Internet (at
http://www.isleofavalon.co.uk/archive.html), called 'Call No Man Master',
by a lady in her eighties with about as much experience as many of us put
together, is subtitled 'in praise of teachers and wary of gurus'! Perhaps
this outlines the subtle distinctions we're dealing with here.
Judgementalism atomises and fragments humanity into millions of people with
isolated personal truths. But I guess I do my fair share of it too.

Great to hear that you are out of the clutches of Truth Fellowship!
Hope that your web-site and distribution list can continue to
inspire people to truly turn to the God-within, so that we all realise
the power that we have as co-creators of our reality.....and how
important it is to always turn towards Love.
I guess an implication of this is that it is important for as
few people as possible to get hooked into any doom-and-gloom
(fear-based) philosophies, and as many people as possible
get tuned-in to peace-and-joy (love-based) philosophies

FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANYONE INTERESTED.
b) and perhaps more importantly 2-way - so that like-minded
individuals can inter-communicate, and share their
thoughts/ hopes/feelings.

First, thank you Jean for sending the e-mail responses! It IS wonderful

Martial,
I have read the books in the Conversations with God trilogy and listened
to the tapes from Book 1. I found great "truths" and incredible
information in Book 1. The very beginning of Book 2 is also inspiring.
However, in Book 2, there is what I would call, extremely alarming
information and dialogue in support of what is being called the New
World Order, (aka "Our Global Neighborhood").
Since I do not know you, I will not go into the details of what the NWO
is, in the event you have yet to hear of this unless you specificlly
request that I do so. I am sure Jean can also provide you some with
some input. What I have again learned, in this case from these books,
is that "darkness" can permeate even the sweetest, most uplifting
sources and that deep discernment, as always, serves us best. Thank you

Dear Jean,
There are two forces. One is based on Love. The other is based on Fear.
Sometimes the fear-based force bathes itself in Light so as to
deceive, for whatever purpose, but usually for the purpose of
control. People will follow when the word 'Light' is used.
There is one sure way to identify the two forces, even if the
Dark force is bathing its words in Light. If the words are
continually about Peace, Love and Light, then you are dealing
with a Positive Force.
If the words of Peace, Love and Light are sprinkled throughout
but there are also words of warning of dire consequences,
of doom, of, yes, of negative forces, of demeaning, such as
the demeaning of spiritual matters, then listen for alarm signals
within youself. You are probably dealing with clever fellows who should
be left alone.
That is not to say that THEY are not sincere. Perhaps they are.
But who is behind THEM? Are these bedfellows one would like to
invite in? Probably not.

Re: Following a Teacher Guru: All scriptures were written in a mystery.
This includes the Quickening. Moses wrote in similitude's, Christ spoke in
Parables. All Masters Scriptures (stories) related to your Temple. (Male or
female) Each told of a journey you must make from the garden to the bridal
chamber. They described your temple as Earth, heavens, cosmos, etc. The
changes they described must be changes that you make within. These changes
must be made before one dies.... Heaven is within, not up in the sky or
following a comet. Therefore changes must be within, So find your own
Indweller and you will find the discernment to see through any Simons...
* Where is Heaven? Within.
* Where does the Father-Mother dwell? In Heaven Within! This is the
Father of YOU and the Christ of the New Test., who only had his son show and
teach love. Did he not even place the ear back on his enemy? There being

* Where does the Lord God Almighty of the Old Test Dwell that would place a
curse unto the 7th generation and send you to slay your neighbors so you
could have their land. Who's first students were kicked out of the garden

become a DECIP (Deciphering) POLE, and progress toward becoming

One is right about the misconceptions that Organized Religion and even
Cults has sold us on... They guard the Water Fountain allowing no seeker to
drink and if he does they belittle him...
Use discernment always, but remember:
Gifts were given to all by the Eternal Mother/Father... His was teaching,,
,, on my right She was endowed with Prophesy, on the left he was blessed
with the gift of Understanding... His was healing and he is blessed with a
gift and is trying to enhance it... This is fitting in Uplifting each

It has been my personal experience that listening to the wisdom within is
where I obtain the answers to any questions I might have. I have moved from
reliance on what others write or proclaim to listening to my Spirit (part of
All That Is), the Divinity all of creation shares.
I, too, have put my faith in someone outside myself, and always find it rather
a rocky road to travel. Since each of us is here learning, those who write and
speak are also learning -- thus, we should not take their words for any sort
of final truth. They are listening to a voice I cannot hear -- I know there is
negativity in the world, but I prefer to work as a being of Light to
illuminate the shadows.
Keep up your work, and do not feel alone, my friend.

Jean I read with interest and joy your post regarding the ending of your
working relationship with Truth Fellowship.. when I first heard/read about
your change in direction I got a wave of chills, my personal alarm to beware..
I am glad to have you back and more reachable we/I have missed your posts
these last months. I think all of us at one time or another have misjudged
someone or something and it is but human nature and there are lessons to be
learned from being wrong too. I was once told about any endeavor if it
sounds to good to be true it probably is.. and I would say that applies here
too.
Any organization that says all others are bad, wrong and or corrupt is
likely included in this group. Just be true to yourself, and speak your
truth, and you can't go wrong.

could not hold it back. It seemed to me a lot of crap, and i felt
uneasy. You experienced now a changing, and it looks to me like a
preparation for future challenges. Truth indeed will survive. It is a
guiding light, that eventually reveals all limitation and seperateness.
This is how it works with me: When something does not resonate in my
heart (meaning joyful feelings of unity, discovering another aspect of
Self, deep re-membering within) i am not willing to give it precious
energy. The essential core ingredients are fun, creativity, excitement,
and of course inclusiveness. When these criteria are not met, well, it
is obviously not meant for me. That is why i seldom red long terrifying
e-mails posted via various networks. And normally i do not forward them
either. Accidentally, some of them later turned out to be a hype, or a
craze.

Some suggestions to renew our communication network:
-Could messages please be shorter? Links can be provided for further
exploration and in-depth study.
-Let's find new ways of action, using the phenomenal infrastructure of
the Internet in an intelligent way. Not one of us knows yet the result,
nor the way to achieve it, but we will all contribute to it while we are
in open dialog with each other. Dear Jean, you have gathered a fine
group of individuals, the Earth Rainbow Network would be a perfect place
for a project like this.
-To conclude this message, i would like to share with you a few of my
favorite places. At www.paoweb.com i get a twice-weekly update with
a possible explanation of what is going on right now here on Planet
Earth, as transmissions from a higher source. A loose structure is set
up worldwide for those who feel to join. Next, i am helping for an
exhibition and other projects who will be shown at the Hague Appeal for
Peace from 11-15 May 1999. It is to the rememberance of the World s
first International Peace Conference a hundred years ago (this one of
1999 would only be the third!). Find more about it at
www.haguepeace.org This could become a wonderful meeting place for
many of us a few months before the new Millennium starts.
Besides that, i still try to find ways to help realize the Millennium
project presented in the book Tree Island of Linda Grover. When i was
in Klamath Falls OR in August last year, i learned about it and got
enthusiastic. Only, the time becomes now very short to realize it.

BUT I SEE 2 WEAK SPOTS - AT LEAST - IN ALL THIS. 1) WE MOSTLY PREACH TO THE ALREADY
CONVERTED AND, 2) FRANKLY, BESIDES THOSE WHO ARE ALREADY REALLY ACTIVE AT THE GRASS
ROOT TO EFFECT SOME CHANGES THROUGH THEIR OWN UNIQUE AND ESSENTIAL CONTRIBUTION --
INDIVIDUALLY OR AS PART OF AN NGO - TO THE BETTERMENT OF THE WORLD, I RARELY HEAR OF OTHER
PEOPLE RECEIVING ALL THIS STUFF WHO ACTUALLY STARTED UP SOME REAL LOCAL ACTION OR
ACTIVITY TO FOSTER MORE AWAKENING INTO THE VAST "NON-CONVERTED" COMMUNITY -- THE
SO-CALLED SILENT MAJORITY.
MOSTLY INTERNET PEOPLE SIMPLY FORWARD SOME OF WHAT THEY RECEIVE TO THEIR NETWORK OF
FRIENDS ALREADY ON EMAIL AND MOST OTHERS *NOT* ON THE INTERNET NEVER HEAR A WORD
ABOUT WHAT IS BEING CIRCULATED. SO THERE IS A HUGE GAP TO BRIDGE BETWEEN THE TINY
MINORITY OF PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET (50 MILLIONS ARE SUPPOSED TO ACCESS THE NET NOW - THAT LEAVES
5,950,000,000 OTHER PEOPLE OUT!) WHO ARE INFO-GLUTTONS LIKE ME, FOR INSTANCE, AND
ALL THE OTHERS DEPRIVED OF THIS SOUP OF MORE OF LESS RELIABLE INFORMATION, IF YOU
ARE LUCKY TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE RIGHT STUFF - LIKE THE ACTIVIST DIGEST PUBLISHED BY MARK
