The following fascinating story appears to be connected with the suggestion made in the introduction to There is ALWAYS Hope Series #7: Lighter Vintage for a Change ... (And incidentally it was not Lou Bognon who received this message but it came from an extremely gifted soul who, while in a deep trance during a group meditation in South Africa, received several important messages in ancient languages, one of which said, once translated: "If all Lightworkers were to focus on the undersea plates below the Gulf at the same time and imagine their love shifting them under the sea, you would be able to stop the leaking oil immediately.") ... about which I received the following feedback from Anita Matthay (amatthay@olypen.com): "Just got back from a lengthy discussion of this idea in our Olympic Peninsula IONS (Institute of Noetic Sciences) group, where we've also discussed the book: The Intention Experiment, by Lynn McTaggert. There was concern today that we might do more harm than good in thinking we could ask for the tectonic plates in that area to move just in that one place. We tossed around many ideas. Finally, along with help from our Native American member, we felt more comfortable with the idea of asking Mother Earth to heal herself, along with the whole Gulf area, while we worked on ending Corporate Greed for profits at all costs, and our own greed and refusal to become oil independent. Envisioning our Earth as part of our own body, from whence we all come and deserving of great respect and humbleness from us. As always you amaze me with the time and attention that you so freely give to us all by the gathering and sharing of the information you compile. Blessings to you always in all ways! I want to share with you an experience from my past about a book and a story that are relevant to us all today.
In 1976 or so, I was living in Mishawaka Indiana after surviving a near death experience in childbirth. I was driving down a familiar street in our neighboring town of South Bend where there was a row of closed businesses with their windows "whited out" with white paint. This day stands out because in the middle of these closed storefronts was a new store that apparently had opened named "The White Light Magic Show". This prompted me to park my car and investigate further. I don't remember a lot about the store or the people in there... it "was" a very magical atmosphere. I looked around in the store...at least I must have as that is my nature... I found myself drawn to a book. I wish I could remember the title and author's name...it was a very profound story. I purchased this book and took it home. I read it and then my husband read it. We were both very moved by the information that it contained. We wanted to go back to the store and look for more books and went there the next week and found only closed businesses and whited out windows. We asked everyone that we knew if they saw this store and no one had and everyone thought we were crazy...but we did have this book. It seems to me that the title was "Reflections" or something like that.
This book and story are very relevant to what we are experiencing now collectively on the earth... particularly with the gulf oil spill. The story was in our near earth future and concerned our pollution of the oceans until they could no longer sustain life... and the dawning on humanity that the ocean supplies most of our oxygen and the resulting consequences of the oceans death. Our earth scientists in a last ditch effort to save the oceans came up with a chemical formula that was poured into the waters of the oceans worldwide but was a dismal failure. Then humanity was made aware of our imminent death. Another group of "scientists" or people with metaphysical knowledge came forth with the idea that "consciousness creates reality". They theorized that if we could unite humanity in "prayer" or "focused meditation" that we could heal the earths waters. The story was told in retrospect... speaking of these times in the past tense as a teaching for all the peoples of the Earth so that we would always remember this wisdom. This group of people approached all the religious, tribal and political leaders of the world with their ideas and convinced them to instruct their followers in this belief structure. The rest of the chapters of the book were about how each faith, religion and belief system spoke to and convinced their people of the "truth" of this idea and how they united enough people on the planet to collectively visualize and feel in their emotional bodies that the oceans were healed...and it was so!
These were very profound ideas for us at this time... and led us to other books like "Space, Time and Beyond" by Fred Alan Wolf and Bob Toben, and we continued our education in metaphysics and life. If anyone else has read a similar book please let me know the title and author. I lost this book in Portland Oregon on one of our many adventures. I have been looking to replace it ever since... but have not found it or found another "White Light Magic Show" store to buy it in.
I know we can help the earth and ourselves with our united meditations and prayers and wanted to share this experience of magic with others as I am sure that we all have been touched in magical ways that can help us all believe in the power of our united imaginations, meditations and prayers.

Most of you know that Dr. Masaru Emoto is the scientist from Japan who has done all the research and publications about the characteristics of water. Among other things, his research revealed that water physically responds to emotions.
Many people have the predominantly angry emotion when we consider what is happening in the Gulf. And while justified in that emotion, we may be of greater assistance to our planet and its life forms if we sincerely, powerfully and humbly pray the prayer that Dr. Emoto, himself, has proposed.
I am passing this request to people I believe may be willing to participate in this prayer, to set an intention of love and healing that is so large, so overwhelming that we can perform a miracle in the Gulf of Mexico.
We are not powerless.
We are powerful.
Our united energy, speaking this prayer daily... multiple times daily... can literally shift the balance of destruction that is happening. We don't have to know how... we just have to recognize that the power of love is greater than any other power active in the Universe today.

ANOTHER INSPIRATIONAL AND MOST TIMELY LETTER
THE DRAGONS ARE AWAKENING

I feel deep sadness as well as great anger in response to the environmental realities we have created upon this Earth. It saddens me to see the immense threat to marine life including many species of fish, dolphins, whales, manatees, sea turtles, seabirds and coastal coral reefs posed by the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, already ten times bigger than the Exxon Valdez spill, and also much bigger than BP is willing to admit. All attempts from BP to plug the leak have failed, with no solution or end in sight. It angers me that not only are we not willing to take responsibility for this but continue to drill without adequate safeguards, arrogantly decimate wilderness areas everywhere without thought for the future, and continue to take from the Earth without any adequate attempts to give back.
A tenth of all species which existed a hundred years ago have already become extinct. The list continues to grow at the rate of thousands every hour as forests shrink and pollutants contaminate our waters, wind and soil. And now in deep betrayal of the Marine Protection Act, the US Administration has chosen to join hands with Japan, Norway and Iceland in reversing a ban on commercial whaling that will allow thousands of these endangered giants of the sea to be once again hunted down to extinction.
Are human beings so terminally stupid that we are letting our beautiful planet die right in front of our own eyes? Do we not care? Do we think that somehow we can continue our short-sighted policies of rip-off profits and greed at the expense of Mother Earth and other lifeforms that equally have chosen to inhabit her land and waters? The prophetic words of Chief Seattle continue to haunt me, “We are all connected…” he stated so eloquently, “…but continue to contaminate your bed and one day you will suffocate in your own wastes!”
Yes, we are all connected, and we must recognize this. It is all too convenient to shift the blame on BP or on our politicians. Yet is not our own excessive demand and dependence on oil equally responsible for the plight we face? Is not our own thoughtless use and abuse of natural resources in our daily lives creating the same decimation all around the world? We have learned to take without any thought for giving back. Is this oil disaster not simply one symptom of a much bigger imbalance where the human species has forfeited its role as protector of the earth and become instead a cancer?
Last month I was with a group of people doing a ceremony for the Earth in the south of France. We felt the presence of the dragons reawakening. These are vast elemental energies residing in the underground regions of the earth. Like the elves, fairies and other forces of Nature, these are conscious vital beings that we can join with for the benefit of Mother Earth. They wish to work with humans, for they understand that we are necessary to the evolution of this planet they serve.
But they are getting impatient. As we attuned to their consciousness we were told that the time has come when the life of the Mother is more important than the excessive comfort of humans. We felt them telling us not to be sad for the fate of the Earth anymore but rather look to our own fate upon Earth. The Mother is forgiving and unconditionally loving, but there comes a time when her children must grow up and take responsibility for their actions… and if this happens not voluntarily from our side this must happen through Her own desire to seek and find balance.
As we felt the beautiful radiance and power of these dragons we began to realize that they were the guardians of Mother Earth and that their time had come to firmly stand up in defense of Her. The dragons represent the energies of new creation, in response to which old systems, structures and energies which no longer serve our evolution must move aside.
And move aside they will. There are many on Earth today who are attuned to the energies of new creation, even if we often feel weak and helpless in the face of the ongoing devastation. I have felt myself going through cycles of rage, depression, and immense grief as I contemplate the fate of our beautiful planet. And through all this I have come to realize that if we choose to act we cannot do this by ourselves, that somehow we need to ally ourselves with elemental energies in a way that our powerful emotions can be channeled for healing and restoration like we cannot yet imagine.
As we come together in our circles of light to wish harmony and healing for ourselves and Mother Earth, let us invoke these beautiful elemental beings, the dragons, in our meditations and prayers. May we look to our own part in this unfolding planetary drama. May we be granted a purity of heart and vision, proving ourselves worthy to work with them in these pivotal times. And may we be willing to stand in defense of our Mother Earth as never before, for this is the last chance we may ever have.
