NOW let's clear some of the backlog
Afghanistan Petition is Useless, ETC.
Hello everyone
More beautiful feedbacks and feedbacks on the feedbacks are pouring in including some
very good comments on the use of the Internet to *change the world* and the suggestions
to renew our communication network. So I'm preparing yet another big email of them to be sent tomorrow, most probably.
But for now, let's get down to some business, so as to say and clear some of the backlog
of issue to look at, as previously mentioned.
First there is this urgent matter just received a few minutes ago - and this one means
something to me personally because when I visited the megalithic circle of standing
stones - or the little that is left of them - in Avebury, England a few weeks ago,
I felt quite some sorrow at all the desecration that has occurred there because of disrespect
for the celtic culture and sheer stupidity, as most of the stones were taken down
to built a chapel and houses in the village now standing right in the middle of it all. And now the same shortsightedness is likely to happen in Florida because of
some stupid developer and city council who can't see the sacred value of a new archeological
find. Over 2 million people visit Stonehenge in England, They should really consider this fact if money is all that matters to them!

They just found the Stonehenge, and it is about 38 ft in diameter, and covers about
2.5 acres, the whole thing is made out of limestone...
The person waiting for building permits, allowed archeologist in there to dig around,
they have found carvings on the walls, but now the permits from the city have come
through, and they will be dozing it in Wenesday, to build some sort of apartment
complex if it can't be stopped... Going to be a great loss to ALL of mankind... ~~~~

I kept receiving the petition called "The War on Women" (at least 20 times) about
the extremely repressive situation women are facing in Afganistan. Since it was inappropriate
to continually forward the same petition, I started forwarding each one back to the originating source at Brandeis. This is the message that was sent to me by Brandeis.
Although the petition is useless I do think it has been effective in terms of raising
our consciousness about women's lives in Afganistan. If you would like to take concrete action , there is plenty of information in the following message that will
direct you to organizations that are making substantial efforts to improve the situation
in Afganistan.

too, so I was able to live there happily despite these experiences.

Thank you for sending this to me. Yes I know it is true. I have heard so many tales
of Pathan and Afghan cruelty to women and the Taliban are worse than most. When I
was in Pakistan I met a lot of different Pathans. I was put in charge of the Architect's
office when my boss left to go to Malaysia when I was very new to Karachi in 1963.
One of the draughtsmen was a Pathan from the North-West Frontier, beyond the jurisdiction
of Pakistan Law. He refused to do the task I gave him. I had to do a scheme for upgrading the men's toilets at the nearby factory. The toilets were in operation so obviously
it was not practical for me to measure them up. This man refused on the grounds that
the request was an insult. As far as I was concerned it was a 1 hour job which had to be done and then the next day he left the office without informing me and offered
no sensible reason for taking the whole day. I felt he was deliberately challenging
my appointment. I could not be seen by the rest of the staff letting this happen
so I sacked him. He was furious. I felt bad at robbing a family of their fathers job,
but as he got another post with better pay within the month all was well. All the
same I will never go to his tribal area (Waziri) The same year I was insulted in
my own home by a guest who was a lawyer in Lahore, who told me in fronyt of my husband that I
must be a prostitute because I worked in an office with men! These were so-called
civilized Pakistanis. My driver (my husband would not let me drive because I could
not speak the language well enough at that time, so I always had to have a driver. If I had
had an accident he was afraid I might be killed or raped by angry by-standers. I
had to go to areas where foreigners usually did not venture, especially for my work
building factories, for the Salvation Army and Muslim charities.) in recent years was a Pathan
with a heart who insisted on bringing his wife and children to Karachi. This is rare.
most of them leave their wives in Purdah in their village in the hills and work alone in the wicked city. He was in trouble with his father because he would take his
wife to the local Doctor. She was sick very often, I suspect because it was the only
way she could get out of their mud-hut for some fresh air. My driver has several
times had to go with me in the markets for my protection. I have had quite large stones
thrown at me, on two occasions enough to draw blood on the top of my head, and even
in the posh and supposedly safe main shopping street I have been quite savagely pinched
in a very sensitive and forbidden spot by one of a group of Afghan refugee men in their
black turbans. I screamed but the policeman in plain sight took no action. I know
I have walked about alone, which is a crime to these men. I also have an added crime
of fair hair. To them all blondes are cheap prostitutes. This is because of nasty pornographic
films which are smuggled in from Hongkong and all these men see them. These people
have been brain washed by the truly wicked Mullahs of the NWFP. When we went on holiday 20 years ago to the valley of Swat I saw graffiti on the walls of the primary
schools condemning women who go outside the walls of their homes as prostitutes deserving
death. These were quite well written in Urdu and were the work of the teachers not the pupils.
I have also been invited to dinner with my husband at the home of a Pathan who worked
for my husband's company as a regional salesman. He could speak and write good English.
His home was beyond the Peshawar border in the tribal area. The food was served in a special room by his wife but all that we were allowed to see of her was her hand
as she passed the dishes round the edge of the door. He told us that she had never
left the house since she was married. He paid a lot for his wife and so he would
not let any other man see his expensive treasure! I know that even in Sind Province there
are literally hundreds of murdered wives whose lives have been lost because of the
husband's boredom or a tiny suspicion of merely looking at another man. The lives
of women are really almost worthless to many of these people.
The Taliban are mostly from the Tribal Areas which are free from Pakistan Law or any
one elses' and they have been brain washed from birth. Most of the Pathans are pederasts.
I was warned in 1965 when my son was born that I must never leave him alone with
a Pathan and sadly I know of three English children who were buggered by their father's
night watchman when their parents were out. 2 in one family! These little boys were
3 and 5 years old!
The Taliban have been trained in camps where the Mullahs got them from the age of
about four years from parents too poor to feed them and the Mullahs let loose all
their cruelty on them. A culture where women are merely bought and sold and treated
as animals for the production of babies does not have any room for love. Normal sex is regarded
as shameful so other nasty practices are used to give twisted pleasure to these horrid
men. It is not surprising that the Taliban are cruel, they have been used and viciously abused all their lives.

Here is a HIGHLY recommended Y2K site which shed a positive light on the Y2K upcoming
world challenge. This subject will certainly come up again soon. More and more media
are now revealing to the general population the scope of the problem although most
are still downplaying the potential consequences. Here is Canada, which according to
some experts is the best prepared country in the world so far in Y2K preparedness,
more and more media reports are coming out to reassure people that we should make

Who travels out of body? Everyone does this during sleep. Most people don't remember
it. If you think back, you can probably recall having dreams of "being somewhere",
but as you got older you lost the ability.
What do you do when you leave the body? When you first leave your body, you may not
experience spiritual things right away. You will probably just float around the room
you are practicing in. Soon, however, your subconscious mind will start directing
you where to go. You may find yourself in places that make no sense at all. After a while
you realize that these places and things have profound relevance to you, and your
personal evolution. Soon, guidance will begin to appear to you, and your personal
guide will take you to a plane of higher existence. These planes will begin to feel familiar
to you and memories of that plane will begin to flood back to you. You will realize
that this is your real home.
Does everyone have an experience? It depends on how much effort they put into it and
how much fear they have.It is important to move through the fear of it. Fear will
hold you back. Even if you don't think you you have no fear, deep in your subconscious
mind it may be there.This is one thing that I teach in my workshops, how to work on
your fear and get it out of the way because it won't serve you.
What can I expect from the trainings? Whoever attends the workshops usually have some
degree of success in learning how to consciously astral project. At the very least,
they learn how to recognize the different sensations they can expect to feel right
before the astral body leaves the physical. As people grow more comfortable in these
altered states, they can learn many things, such as travel backward through time.
They can observe themselves as young children. Or, they can travel into the future
and explore alternate realities.
I've been to one training where the instructor lectured the whole time. What is your
training like? Pathways Training is an experiential workshop. Participants will have
the opportunity to learn practical skills that they can use in everyday life to access information not generally available to most people. We will lead you through a progressive
series of exercises designed to make you feel comfortable accessing expanded states
of awareness.
The experience itself is a tool that leads to expanded states of spiritual awareness.
The act of leaving the body is a skill, like riding a bicycle, that once learned
leads to the exploration of other non-physical realities. The individual interpretation
of those realities is the birthright of every human being.
How is this different from the Near-Death experience? Its not the same. When you "project",
you don't go through a white light or a tunnel. You usually go right where you want
to go. Remember, when you are "out" there is no time or distance. Everything is right here and now. Astral projection is different. In the death experience you are
getting ready to leave the body for the last time. During the death experience there
is a common experience whereby you experience an intense white light and there is
usually someone you know waiting to take you. When you project you are in control and decide
where to go and who to see.
Is this religious? No, at its essence, it is a personal spiritual experience.
How will this affect my belief system? 1. You will know absolutely that you will survive
physical death as a spiritual being. 2. You will know absolutely that you are more
than your physical body. 3. The experience will serve to confirm the reality of a
non-physical universe and non-physical beings.
Is there potential for spiritual exploration? When one has successfully left their
body at will and has been successful in reaching other planes they return to their
own sense that the earth plane is nothing more than a stepping stone into a larger
reality. The fear of death is gone because they now know that there really is no death. When
you get out of your body you will find out just how much help there is for you and
you'll find there is a solution for every problem that you have. You learn the absolute value of positive thoughts and how powerful the mind really is. They change their
relationship to time--and to death. They come to see that physical death is a natural
transition. So they can live life more fully without fear of losing it.
What benefits can one expect from such an experience? Stress reduction is a by-product
of doing the training discipline on a daily basis. Stress has been identified as
a primary factor in disease. Profound states of relaxation will allow the body to
heal itself. The potential exists to receive information on your future life and affairs.
When you astral project, you will meet your spiritual teacher or guide who has chosen
to "walk with you" in this life. You will receive firsthand information to assist
you in working through your karma here on earth. Fears you may hold will diminish because
you will have a more perfect understanding of events and the larger reasons why they
are happening.

It screws up the tracking on your VCR and uses subspace field harmonics to scratch
any CD's you attempt to play.
It will re-calibrate your refrigerator's coolness settings so all your ice cream melts
and your milk curdles.
It will program your phone autodial to call only your mother-in-law's number every
evening around dinner time.
This virus will mix antifreeze into your fish tank.
It will drink all your beer.
It will leave dirty socks on the coffee table when you are expecting company, all
while dating your current boy/girlfriend behind your back and billing their hotel
rendezvous to your credit card.
