Veracity Series #18: The Real Stories Behind the Media's Myopic Stories

Hello everysoul!

As the title of this compilation indicates, there are always concealed details and facts that most mainstream media won't touch. Much of what I network covers the wealth of information most people never get to see. Granted, some of the information I dare "touch" may seem farfetched and hard to confirm. Which is why it is so important to always remain vigilant as to what resonates with us as true, and what don't. Not only do we have to learn and continuously practice discernment both with regard to what the mainstream media report and what the alternative news sources like this one uncover, but we need also to go beyond mere information gathering and at some point, on some issues closer to us, take a clear stand and contribute in making the news... and history. True living is about participating in shaping the future through how we express ourselves, how we live, and what influence we can bring to bear on what kind of future we collectively manifest, here and now. Also, we should always remember that no matter how dire or how exciting outer situations and experiences turn out to be, there is a higher perspective to life's tribulations, the soul perspective which sees not the particular circumstances we are faced with but how we act or react and what higher spiritual lessons we are able to learn through experiencing in the illusory maya of an ephemeral physical expression of our infinite, divine Self.

The blasts will annually release other elements into the air, some of which will also be radioactive, the application reads. (...) The $1.7 billion a year Department of Energy lab has sought to increase its outdoor test limits from the equivalent of 100 pounds of TNT to 350 pounds, and to increase its annual testing amount eight-fold to 8,000 pounds “in support of homeland security and national defense activities,” according to the permit application. Houghton and other lab representatives in January told the Tracy City Council that the lab has currently planned just three of the 30 blasts in the 350-pound range that would be allowed by the permit in the coming 18 months.

Local authorities were told to take no action to pursue killer - Police and EMT workers at Virginia Tech tell us that campus police were given a federal order to stand down and not pursue killer Cho Seung-Hui as Monday's bloodshed unfolded. Though wishing to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, we have received calls from police and EMT's who tell us that a stand down order was in place, and this is also confirmed by eyewitness Matt Kazee, who is a Blacksburg local. Kazee talked to local EMT's and police who told him the same thing, that the order was to wait until federal back up arrived before any action was taken. This explains the complete non-response of the police in the two hour gap between Cho's first two murders and the wider rampage that would follow later that morning. The policy of federal control over the University was put in place following a previous shooting in August 2006 in which a police officer and a hospital security guard were killed. In addition, a former long-term University police officer, George French, told the Alex Jones Show that it is routine to seal off a campus on which a suspected gunman is loose. “Setting up a series of roadblocks, controlling access to very large pieces of property, is very much routine on any university campus in Canada and in the United States,” said French. “After a double homicide, when you’re looking for a dangerous fellow with a firearm, I find it unfathomable that a series of roadblocks weren’t set up…to prevent the felon from escaping.” French could find no logical conclusion other than deliberate inaction on the part of officials. “We have another coordinated, allowed event…the parallels are so common in each case; you can write the script in advance.”

28 Dead and 62 Wounded in Recent Drug-Induced School Shootings- Today’s shooting rampage at Virginia Tech is being called the deadliest school shooting incident in U.S. history, with initial reports citing 32 dead and 29 more wounded in the bloodiest school massacre since Columbine. The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), a mental health watchdog that initially discovered the psychiatric drug connection in the Columbine shootings, says the media and law enforcement must move quickly to investigate the Virginia shooter's psychiatric drug history -- a common factor amongst school shooters. In fact eight recent school shooters were under the influence of psychiatric drugs documented by the FDA to cause suicidal behavior, mania, psychosis, hallucinations, hostility and “homicidal ideation.” In other instances the shooter’s medical records were never made public, so their psychiatric drug use remains in question. The infamous Colombine High shootings took place almost exactly eight years ago, and the shooters in that rampage were also -- you guessed it -- taking antidepressant drugs.What is it about antidepressant drugs that provokes young men to pick up pistols, rifles and shotguns, then violently assault their classmates? Clearly, there's something wrong with the mind of anyone who engages in such violent acts. Sadr and his Mahdi Army deny involvement in the rally and subsequent campaign for Waili to step down. Tagalo Hassan had no idea that the horrific violence of Darfur had spread like a stain across the border into Chad and had been creeping towards his village for months. Being three years old, he could not have understood what was happening when the shooting started before dawn, or when a bullet shattered his right leg and cut a groove in his left. The attack was carried out by Sudanese Arab horsemen, the feared Janjaweed, and their Chadian allies seeking to oust the government in the capital, N'Djamena. But there was no one on hand to explain any of that to Tagalo. His father had fled, thinking the boy was with his mother and baby brother. The baby was dead, however, and his mother had been crippled in the same hail of bullets. Tagalo was found lying alone by Italian relief workers. The massacres in Tiero, where Tagalo lived, and the neighbouring village of Marena, near the Sudanese border, killed about 400 people. The numbers are unclear because many of the bodies are still lying in the bush. The killings are a blood-red signal that the culture of mass murder as a weapon of war has found its way to Chad, after four years in Darfur uninterrupted by the global community. The widening of the conflict threatens, in turn, to trigger a new humanitarian disaster. The shock of the Tiero and Marena attacks sent more than 10,000 villagers from the immediate area fleeing into the bush, bringing to about 140,000 the number of Chadians uprooted by the violence. Many - particularly women and children - died of thirst on the road, having left in too much of a hurry to take water.Those that survived will have to share the available food aid with quarter of a million Darfuri refugees, and there may not be enough to go round. Pauline Bellaman, Oxfam's programme manager in the area, described the situation as "catastrophic", with barely two months left before the rainy season makes food delivery impossible."Even if the international community gets mobilised to provide the funds to bring in the food, it's going to be a logistical nightmare to get it to the right place at the right time," she said. Oxfam is launching a public appeal today in the race to cope with the crisis, which is growing with every passing day. The head of the UN Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission, Hans Blix, has said that the US should stop proliferating nuclear weapons. At a ceremony in Madrid for the release of his book titled "Weapons of Terror" Blix said that if the US genuinely wants to prevent the proliferation of other nation's nuclear programs, it should present itself as a role model and "completely" halt the development of its nuclear arms. Nuclear nations should try to meet their defensive military needs through conventional weapons like the rest of the world, Blix suggested, adding that they should also participate in nuclear disarmament measures and secure a prohibition on atomic weapons. Blix also described as "demeaning" the pre-conditions set on Iran for the resumption of nuclear talks with the Islamic Republic. "Suspension of uranium enrichment as a pre-condition goes against Tehran's credibility," said Blix, adding, however, that it would be a welcomed move if Iran were to temporarily suspend its enrichment activity as a gesture of good faith. He likened the UN Security Council members to fathers who smoke but who prohibit their children from smoking. The chief of the UN Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission also said that before the creation of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in 1968, five countries had atomic bombs but that nine nations have now developed nuclear arsenals. According to Blix, non-nuclear nations feel that the nuclear countries have not pursued disarmament in the post-NPT era but have tried to prevent other nations from developing nuclear technology. "This amounts to a big defeat to the NPT," Blix said. There are currently 27,000 warheads in the world, 12,000 of which are in the US and European countries. Blix called on the US and Russia to resume talks on a new treaty within the framework of an additional NPT protocol, which would reduce strategic weapons. The US has not yet signed the protocol.

According to European reports of the events surrounding Don Imus that have gripped the United States this past week, it was during an interview with another American media personality, Tim Russert, who is the host of a television programme frequently used by US War Leaders, wherein while decrying the state of care being given to American War wounded stated, "So those bastards want to keep these boys [in reference to US Soldiers] secret? Let's see how they like it if I start talking about their [in reference to US War Leaders] secrets, starting with 9/11."

Unable to attack such a powerful media figure as Don Imus, directly, the US War Leaders, and as we have seen many times before, resorted to a massive media attack against him using as the reason a racial slur against a US woman's basketball team, but which has been pointed out by other media outlets was not by any means a rare occurrence for the legendary radio icon to make.

But, to the US War Leaders, Don Imus represented the most serious threat, to date, of the growing assault against them by America's media personalities threatening to expose the truths behind the events of September 11, 2001 and the Iraq/Afghanistan Wars; and to such an extent that another American media personality, Rosie O'Donnell, has expressed concern that US Military Leaders could actually imprison Mr. Imus.

From our past research of the tactics used against those threatening America's War Leaders, the likelihood of imprisonment for Don Imus would only occur should he persist in his threats to undermine their authority, and which appears, at this time, unlikely after the public disgrace he has had to endure.

It is expected, also, that the US War Leaders actions against Don Imus will have a further chilling affect upon other American media personalities questioning their authority, such as the popular US movie actor, Charlie Sheen, and who was one of the first to question the events of September 11, 2001, and as we can read as reported by New Zealand Herald News Service in their article titled "Charlie Sheen may voice 9/11 documentary", and which says:

"US actor Charlie Sheen is reportedly in talks to narrate an Internet documentary that suggests elements of the US government were behind the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre.

"Sheen's representatives say he was involved in the production of a new version of Loose Change, a 90-minute conspiracy theory film that has been seen by more than 10 million Internet viewers."

Apparently lost upon America's media personalities is that their government is being investigated by the International Red Cross for the torture of an Iranian Diplomat by whipping with steel cables on his feet; a government that would have its soldiers imprison in an Ethiopian torture jail a Swedish teenage girl; a government that would even contemplate the release of one of the World's most wanted terrorists, Posada Carriles; does not hesitate, for even a second, to crush any, and all, opposition to it.

To the American people themselves there remains no evidence that they know, much less care, about the dire state of their once Free Nation.

Record of Iraq War Lies to Air April 25 on PBS

Bill Moyers has put together an amazing 90-minute video (Watch a preview and comment at The Moyers Blog) documenting the lies that the Bush administration told to sell the Iraq war to the American public, with a special focus on how the media led the charge. I've watched an advance copy and read a transcript, and the most important thing I can say about it is: Watch PBS from 9:00 to 10:30 PM on Wednesday, April 25. Spending that 90 minutes will actually save you time because you'll never watch television news again - not even on PBS, which comes in for its own share of criticism.

While a great many pundits, not to mention presidents, look remarkably stupid or dishonest in the four-year-old clips included in "Buying the War," it's hard to take any spiteful pleasure in holding them to account, and not just because the killing and dying they facilitated is ongoing, but also because of what this video reveals about the mindset of members of the DC media. Moyers interviews media personalities, including Dan Rather, who clearly both understand what the media did wrong and are unable to really see it as having been wrong or avoidable.

It's great to see an American media outlet tell this story so well, but it leads one to ask: When will Congress tell it? While the Democrats were in the minority, they clamored for hearings and investigations, they pushed Resolutions of Inquiry into the White House Iraq Group and the Downing Street Minutes. Now in the majority, they've gone largely silent. The chief exception is the House Judiciary Committee's effort to question Condoleezza Rice next week about the forged Niger documents.

But what comes out of watching this show is a powerful realization that no investigation is needed by Congress, just as no hidden information was needed for the media to get the story right in the first place. The claims that the White House made were not honest mistakes. But neither were they deceptions. They were transparent and laughably absurd falsehoods. And they were high crimes and misdemeanors.

The program opens with video of President Bush saying "Iraq is part of a war on terror. It's a country that trains terrorists. It's a country that can arm terrorists. Saddam Hussein and his weapons are a direct threat to this country."

Was that believable or did the media play along? The next shot is of a press conference at which Bush announces that he has a script telling him which reporters to call on and in what order. Yet the reporters play along, raising their hands after each comment, pretending that they might be called on despite the script.

Video shows Richard Perle claiming that Saddam Hussein worked with al Qaeda and that Iraqis would greet American occupiers as liberators. Here are the Weekly Standard, The Wall Street Journal, William Safire from The New York Times, Charles Krauthammer and Jim Hoagland from The Washington Post, all demanding an overthrow of Iraq's government. George Will is seen saying that Hussein "has anthrax, he loves biological weapons, he has terrorist training camps, including 747s to practice on."

But was that even plausible? Bob Simon of "60 Minutes" tells Moyers he wasn't buying it. He says he saw the idea of a connection between Hussein and al Qaeda as an absurdity: "Saddam, as most tyrants, was a total control freak. He wanted total control of his regime. Total control of the country. And to introduce a wild card like al Qaeda in any sense was just something he would not do. So I just didn't believe it for an instant."

Knight Ridder Bureau Chief John Walcott didn't buy it either. He assigned Warren Strobel and Jonathan Landay to do the reporting and they found the Bush claims to be quite apparently false. For example, when the Iraqi National Congress (INC) fed The New York Times's Judith Miller a story through an Iraqi defector claiming that Hussein had chemical and biological weapons labs under his house, Landay noticed that the source was a Kurd, making it very unlikely he would have learned such secrets. But Landay also noticed that it was absurd to imagine someone putting a biological weapons lab under his house.

But absurd announcements were the order of the day. A video clip shows a Fox anchor saying, "A former top Iraqi nuclear scientist tells Congress Iraq could build three nuclear bombs by 2005." And the most fantastic stories of all were fed to David Rose at Vanity Fair Magazine. We see a clip of him saying, "The last training exercise was to blow up a full-size mock-up of a US destroyer in a lake in central Iraq."

Landay comments: "Or jumping into pits of fouled water and having to kill a dog with your bare teeth. I mean, this was coming from people who are appearing in all of these stories, and sometimes their rank would change."

Forged documents from Niger could not have gotten noticed in this stew of lies. Had there been some real documents honestly showing something, that might have stood out and caught more eyes. Walcott describes the way the INC would feed the same information to the vice president and secretary of defense that it fed to a reporter, and the reporter would then get the claims confirmed by calling the White House or the Pentagon. Landay adds: "And let's not forget how close these people were to this administration, which raises the question, was there coordination? I can't tell you that there was, but it sure looked like it."

Simon from "60 Minutes" tells Moyers that when the White House claimed a 9/11 hijacker had met with a representative of the Iraqi government in Prague, "60 Minutes" was easily able to make a few calls and find out that there was no evidence for the claim. "If we had combed Prague," he says, "and found out that there was absolutely no evidence for a meeting between Mohammad Atta and the Iraqi intelligence figure. If we knew that, you had to figure the administration knew it. And yet they were selling the connection between al Qaeda and Saddam."

Moyers questions a number of people about their awful work, including Dan Rather, Peter Beinart and then Chairman and CEO of CNN Walter Isaacson. And he questions Simon, who soft-pedaled the story and avoided reporting that there was no evidence.

Landay at Knight Ridder did report the facts when it counted, but not enough people paid attention. He tells Moyers that all he had to do was read the UN weapons inspectors' reports online to know that the White House was lying to us. When Cheney said that Hussein was close to acquiring nuclear weapons, Landay knew he was lying: "You need tens of thousands of machines called 'centrifuges' to produce highly enriched uranium for a nuclear weapon. You've got to house those in a fairly big place, and you've got to provide a huge amount of power to this facility."

Moyers also hits Tim Russert with a couple of tough questions. Russert expressed regret for not having included any skeptical voices by saying he wished his phone had rung. So Moyers begins the next segment by saying, "Bob Simon didn't wait for the phone to ring," and describing Simon's reporting. Simon says he knew the claims about aluminum tubes were false because "60 Minutes" called up some scientists and researchers and asked them. Howard Kurtz of The Washington Post says that skeptical stories did not get placed on the front page because they were not "definitive."

Moyers shows brief segments of an "Oprah" show in which she has on only pro-war guests and silences a caller who questions some of the White House claims. Just in time for the eternal election season, Moyers includes clips of Hillary Clinton and John Kerry backing the war on the basis of Bush and Cheney's lies. But we also see clips of Robert Byrd and Ted Kennedy getting it right.

The Washington Post editorialized in favor of the war 27 times, and published in 2002 about 1,000 articles and columns on the war. But the Post gave a huge anti-war march a total of 36 words. "What got even less ink," Moyers says, "was the release of the National Intelligence Estimate." Even the misleading partial version that the media received failed to fool a careful eye.

Landay recalls: "It said that the majority of analysts believed that those tubes were for the nuclear weapons program. It turns out though, that the majority of intelligence analysts had no background in nuclear weapons." Was Landay the only one capable of noticing this detail?

Colin Powell's UN presentation comes in for similar quick debunking. We watch a video clip of Powell complaining that Iraq has covered a test-stand with a roof. But AP reporter Charles Hanley comments, "What he neglected to mention was that the inspectors were underneath watching what was going on."

Powell cited a UK paper, but it very quickly came out that the paper had been plagiarized from a college student's work found online. The British press pointed that out. The US let it slide. But anyone looking for the facts found it quickly.

Moyers's wonderful movie is marred by a single line - the next to the last sentence - in which he says, "The number of Iraqis killed, over 35,000 last year alone, is hard to pin down." A far more accurate figure could have been found very easily.

Thoughts after watching The U.S. vs John Lennon

I just watched The U.S. vs John Lennon, a film documentary about John Lennon and Yoko Ono. A must see movie! The film took me on a nostalgic tour of my own life during the years from 1966 - 1980. I remembered how I felt back then that there was something terribly wrong in our society and that it was being hidden from the general public. Over the years I have done extensive research to better understand why the world was the way it was.

While watching this film, I was astonished how little I knew back in the 70's about the oligarchy that was pulling the strings of the politicians causing many of the problems and inequities in our society between the haves and the have nots. I didn't realized at the time that most of the real news was blocked out by corporate owned media networks. As a Viet Nam vet, I participated in the Viet Nam anti-war movement, as I do today against the wars in the Middle East.

I am so grateful for the advent of the Internet which has made possible thousands or possibly millions of independent grassroots news sources, with thousands of independent investigative reporters. The Internet is evolving and maturing and finally it's powerful promise of providing the instantaneous communication of news and events has arrived. The advancements in new computer technology has made this all possible. The technology of FREE websites, listservers and blogs has facilitated the immediate dissemination of special interest information to which people can have immediate access.

What is truly remarkable, is that this technology is only at its inception. The latest phase of technology which has exploded into popularity is FREE Video Sharing as led by Google/YouTube. What this service has provided is that any individual with the technical ability can become their own TV network for FREE.

Back to the John Lennon movie, we know that John Lennon was assassinated in 1980. At the time the public was spoon fed a story that the alleged assassin was another psychopathic "lone gunman". Sound familiar? Remember JFK, MLK, RFK. I wondered what I would now find out about John Lennon's assassination with all the independent investigative reporting that is currently published on the Internet. I googled "John Lennon assassination" and immediately found the extraordinary website http://www.john-lennon.com. I read the articles about the assassination and was astonished by the depth of information now available that was never published or broadcasted by corporate owned media networks. I was also amazed at how quickly I accessed the information. One minute. Who killed John Lennon? A must read!

John Lennon talked about, wrote about, played music about peace and love. He was a very great visionary who dared to "imagine all the people living life in peace". "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us and the world will be as one."

THE Kuala Lumpur Global Peace Forum of concerned peoples from all five continents

UNITED in the belief that peace is the essential condition for the survival and well-being of the human race,

DETERMINED to promote peace and save succeeding generations from the scourge of war,

OUTRAGED over the frequent resort to war in the settlement of disputes between nations,

DISTURBED that militarists are preparing for more wars,

TROUBLED that use of armed force increases insecurity for all,

To achieve peace we now declare that:

- Wars increasingly involve the killing of innocent people and are, therefore, abhorrent and criminal.
- Killings in war are as criminal as the killings within societies in times of peace.
- Since killings in peace time are subject to the domestic law of crime, killings in war must likewise be subject to the international law of crimes. This should be so irrespective of whether these killings in war are authorized or permitted by domestic law.
- All commercial, financial, industrial and scientific activities that aid and abet war should be criminalised.
- All national leaders who initiate aggression must be subjected to the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.
- All nations must strengthen the resolve to accept the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and institute methods to settle international disputes by peaceful means and to renounce war.
- Armed force shall not be used except when authorised by a Resolution passed by two-thirds majority of the total membership of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
- All legislators and all members of Government must affirm their belief in peace and pledge to strive for peace.
- Political parties all over the world must include peace as one of their principal objectives.
- Non-Governmental Organisations committed to the promotion of peace should be set up in all nations.
- Public servants and professionals, in particular in the medical, legal, educational and scientific fields, must promote peace and campaign actively against war.
- The media must actively oppose war and the incitement to war and consciously promote the peaceful settlement of international disputes.
- Entertainment media must cease to glorify war and violence and should instead cultivate the ethos of peace
- All religious leaders must condemn war and promote peace.

To these ends the Forum resolves to establish a permanent Secretariat in Kuala Lumpur to:
IMPLEMENT this Initiative.
OPPOSE policies and programmes that incite war.
SEEK the cooperation of NGOs worldwide to achieve the goals of this Initiative.

A vision of one near-future Earth Change

Friends and Star Kids,

Many have felt, or received messages from Star Visitors about, upcoming Earth Changes.

On Thursday, April 12, I got a call from from a psychic Star Seed, Nicki. She called to inform me that she had just heard from her psychic neighbor Chuck who had a crystal-clear 3-D "dream" about a Great Quake with a resulting tsunami. Nicki tends to give him high credence because a previous "dream" of his, (he hardly has highly-realistic dreams), which correctly predicted the Loma Prieta (SF) great quake.
 
Particulars: This coming Great Quake will be of very high magnitude. It will be centered near Al Hoceima, a Mediterranean coastal city in Morocco east of the strait of Gibraltar. It will however be so strong that it will trigger a very large earthslide on the steep, unstable, separating slope of Las Palmas Volcano on Gran Canaria, one of the Canary Islands, even though the Canary Islands are off the northwest coast of Africa, and approximately 1200 kilometers (about 745 miles) southwest of Al Hoceima! Another mechanism of action may be that the Moroccan Quake will trigger an eruption of Las Palmas Volcano, which will surely send its western flank into the Atlantic.
 
This resulting landslide will go to the bottom of the Atlantic, displacing huge amounts of water, and triggering a large tsunami (as predicted in a PBS NOVA documentary, and as in Nicki's persistent vision).
   
Chuck saw this tsunami resulting in a large tidal wave striking the east coast of Cuba. Interestingly, Chuck saw that Cuban leader Fidel Castro will have died by the time of this tsunami, and his younger brother, Raul Castro, the First Vice-President, will have assumed the Presidency, but will then have been assassinated by the hand of the CIA, apparently on the same day that the large tsunami strikes eastern Cuba.
 
Chuck gets the impression that the time-line for the Moroccan Great Quake-Atlantic Tsunami is more on the order of weeks rather than months or years.
 
I was interested in seeing if Councillor Asheoma could provide any corroboration of this future vision, which Chuck and Nicki brought to my attention. And whether the events foreseen are part of the coming general big shake-up predicted by Councillor Asheoma and Star Visitor Neuman.

Councillor Asheoma provided the following response.
 
"With this particular vision, the one who saw [Chuck, with Nicki] did see what is a very high probability of events. Zeta [Watchers] are aware, but it is part of the natural Earth movements. They can take no action against Earth movement of this nature, because it is not [a result of artificial] harm done to her [Mother Earth].
  
"The probability within 1 year is at 83%. With the next six months is 62%."

So, there you have it. As many have felt, with a number of the upcoming Earth Changes, psychic lightworkers and Star Seeds will themselves provide, or be messengers for Star Visitor-provided, reports that will allow those who choose to pay attention some fore-warning as to some of the major perils. Thus, such alerted people can make preparations to get themselves out of harm's way.

I don't want to give the wrong impression, as I do not welcome the needless loss of life which will result, but this has been 'a long time expected'.

Some years ago (mid to late 1990's) there was a programme on the TV about where people are 'progressed' and 'regressed' to future and past lives.

It seems that very few people could be progressed very far (implying that very few present-day people would be returning to this planet in the near future) - although there was one lady who reported living on a space station in a future life. At least one lady also reported her death (in her present-day human life) as being from what would be a tsunami event. This lady lived in the English county of Lancashire, which would certainly be severely affected by this event.

However, whilst from her age it was obvious that this event would happen relatively soon no specific timeframe was given.

For those of us who are music fans, and know of the Beatles - well they came from Liverpool, which until local government reorganisation was in Lancashire.

There is more I could say on this topic, but it would all be off-topic for UFO Facts. However given that the sources of the information include our off-planet friends so I think the link below might be of direct relevance. This newspaper story was published several times around 2000 / 2001. Obviously someone 'in the know' was trying to attract the attention of 'those who have eyes to see' - and brains to 'connect the dots'.

CLIP Giant wave 'will flatten Britain at 500mph'

BRITAIN faces a natural disaster that will flatten the Atlantic coastline for several miles inland, a scientist predicted this week.

A massive landslide caused by a volcanic eruption in the Canary Islands would create a giant wave that would hit the coast at up to 500mph.

The largest mega-tsunami ever seen would be generated when an eruption of Cumbre Vieja on the island of La Palma caused a part of a mountain twice the size of the Isle of Man to plunge into the Atlantic. "The first impact will be when 330ft waves crash into the west Saharan coast of Morocco," said Simon Day, of the Benfield Greig hazard research centre at University College London.

"It is not a question of if it will happen, only when it will happen. It could be in the next few decades; it could be hundreds of years hence."

Devastation from the tsunami was also highly likely in Florida, Brazil and the Caribbean. There the wave would reach heights of 130ft to 164ft - higher than Nelson's column - and could sweep four and a half miles inland.

Dr Day said: "It is a geologically definite process, a bit like a pressure cooker, with the volcano heating up the ground water and pressure building up inside the mountain."

In 1949 the mountain moved 12ft in two days, but the disaster waiting to happen would be much greater, according to Dr Day's report, published in Geophysical Research Letters.

The collapse of the mountain on the west of Cumbre Vieja would release enough energy, equivalent to the electricity consumption of America in six months, to generate a wave more than half a mile high and tens of miles long. This would collapse and rebound on the Canaries. As the landslide continued to move underwater, a series of waves would develop, creating enormous surges all over the Atlantic.

"After only 10 minutes, the tsunami will have moved more than 150 miles," Dr Day said. It would reach America in little more than six hours.

There have been at least 11 tsunamis in the past 200,000 years, one of which wiped out the Minoan civilisation on Crete. The largest recorded wave to hit Britain was the Lisbo tsunami of 1755, when 12ft seas pounded Cornwall.

About 7,000 years ago, the Storegga tsunami, caused by a landslide off Norway, deposited silt several miles inland of Northern Scotland. "When the wave from the Canaries reaches Britain, it could be as high as the Storegga, which may have been up to 60ft," Dr Day said.

"It is difficult to know how far the ramifications will go. We should be looking at the doomed civilisation of Crete when assessing the effects."

Now It Can Be Told: Cabal Loses Key Installation

Friends and Star Kids,

I just received information from a key informant, with affiliation to a three-letter government agency, that a Cabal-controlled installation, which has been manufacturing and then mentally programming Hybrid-Human clones to operate as its Super Soldiers, has been eliminated. The details.

In early 2006 an enormous underground installation, 16 miles long by one mile wide, began operation  some kilometers distant from the Icelandic village of Djupidalur. (Photo of the surface of the underground installation is attached.) It took 13 years to build, having been authorized in 1993 by the U.S. National Security Council, who had been duped into believing it would be a research facility concerned with nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.

Instead, this facility was a key part of Cabal plans to build a super army of mostly Human clones whose genetics had been upgraded with just enough retrieved Star Visitor genetic material to give these  clones enhanced physical, mental and psychic abilities.

This cloning project is what Colonel/Dr. Michael Wolf (Kruvant) of NSC's Special Studies Group was so incensed about when he told me several years ago that he had learned that his work in human cloning was being perverted by (Cabal) military into creating the Super [hybrid] Soldier who would then receive mental programming to get the clone to mindlessly follow immoral orders. This caused him to resign from government research work.  

This weekend, a crack counter-insurgency team (CIT), operating independent of military control, and disgusted by Cabal takeover of key positions in government, undertook a mission to penetrate the Djupidalur installation.

The CIT located where the hapless, misinformed Hybrids were being held, liberated them, and escorted them to the surface, where their safe extraction would be arranged for by an individual with friendly ties to Star Nations and legitimate compartments within the U.S. National Security community.    

During the escorting, CIT came under fire from Cabal security forces, and in the ensuing firefight, (Cabal) Brigadier General Frank Dougherty and a number of his security troops were killed.

The Counter-Insurgency Team then set off munitions they had emplaced, and destroyed the clone factory installation, after setting off an alarm to give non-security personnel an opportunity to leave for the surface.

When Dr. Wolf was working on cloning, he told me that it took a year to create a human clone from test tube to walking, talking adult. So, if Djupidalur went on-line in early 2006, and went off-line in early 2007, there must have been only one "batch" of Hybrids graduating from that mill. And the CIT team got them all.

The complete success of extraction of the Hybrids and destruction of the installation is a signal moment in the incremental retaking of Earth from Cabal control.

But we are not yet at final victory. Many other lightworkers are doing what they can, from wherever they are located within society and its structures, to take back Human society from the control of the Cabal monsters.

Look for your opportunity. Although most will not be as spectacular as the CIT's, opportunities to reform and transform our society are all around you.

I disagree with Karl Schwarz on global warming to a large extent, but in many other areas he is spot-on.

With global warming, even if human carbon emissions weren't a huge problem, (and they are) it would be hugely smart of us to move away from a polluting, limited resource that we have to wage wars in other countries to protect. Granted, solar activity may be partially responsible for current warming, but make no mistake, non-stop willy-nilly production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses by humans isn't good at all. Especially if it's going on at the same time solar radiation output is going up. Double wham! Now you have more heat for those gasses to trap, duuuhh!

Nanotech per se isn't necessarily dangerous if you are speaking of nano-particle based materials science, it's nano-bots that are dangerous. There are theories out there that creating self-replicating nanometer-scale robots could literally turn the planet into a "grey goo" ball in space in a matter of days if those nanobots aren't carefully controlled. They just use the entire earth as raw materials to replicate themselves until nothing is left but nanobots.

There are some people who talk about nano-particles being able to pass through the blood-brain barrier and inhibit neurotransmission and therefore brain function, but that's a guess so far and it would probably require massive exposures far beyond what is found in nature. As they say, too much of anything is not a good thing. It depends in this guy's case on how those nano-particles are used and controlled what the results will be.

Filters that could remove DU particles from the global environment are awesome if true. I would love to see that. Depleted Uranium is the most horrible pollutant known. It's even suspected that US troops exposed to DU contamination can bring it home and contaminate their wives and girlfriends through emissions of DU particles in sexual fluids. That's not a joke. DU is radioactive waste used in tank rounds. Iraq and most of the Middle East and anywhere downwind is now horribly contaminated with DU dust from US tank rounds, as is Bosnia. The half-life of DU is on the order of 4 billion years. In other words, it loses HALF of its radioactivity in that time - not all.

New technologies have their dangers, however. Honey bee populations in 26 US states are vanishing - up to 90% of the bees simply disappear. No one knows what has happened to them. Every hive with this issue, however, is near a cornfield. It is no secret any longer that US corn crops have been contaminated in the wild by airborne pollination from genetically modified corn that biologically produces insecticides in its tissues. What is suspected is that GM corn is wiping out honey bees. I have read 6 articles on this in the last two months, mostly in mainstream media publications, but they didn't talk about the GM corn, the bastards, only the most recent article did. I heard that last year some time elsewhere - a company called Bayer something-or-other produced the culprit. This most recent article also mentioned them. It is linked on the front page of www.rawstory.com somewhere.

Do you realize that fully a third of everything we eat is dependent on commercial honey bee keepers for pollination? Wild bee populations have been thoroughly decimated for years due to habitat loss and insecticide use, but the bees kept by commercial operations have been doing most of the agricultural work. These people truck multiple hives full of honeybees around in the Spring to pollinate US crops like apples, blueberries, peaches, melons, cucumbers, etc.

Next Fall, we are in deep shit because 80% of US commercial honey bees are gone missing. Do yourself and your family a favor - garden veggies at that 3-unit of yours and plant flowers and leave the dandelions so that you keep the local bees around there alive. Do it with no pesticides. Dandelions are a huge source of food for local bees. Keep the chemicals out of your yard and the veggies growing in it. You are going to see produce prices on anything dependent on bees for pollination go through the ceiling by the end of Summer as crops across the country fail.

Google search the subject. There is some totally, totally weird shit going on with bees starting since last year. It is scary as hell. Einstein once said that if bees were ever totally wiped out, Mankind would have 4 years left on Earth. He wasn't joking. I saw in Popular Science a few months ago in the section called "Megapixels" a picture of a yellow-jacket hive that had completely filled a 55 Chevy in a guy's back yard in Alabama. About 60 of these "super hives"were found across Georgia & Alabama last year by a university researcher tracking this. Never before 2006 was anything like this ever seen. Usually yellow jacket hives are no bigger than a basketball. Normally they have one queen and 3,000 worker bees. These hives have upwards of 300 queens and 100,000 worker bees. The workers that would normally die off in Winter aren't due to warming temperatures aren't dying off - and it is changing the behavior of the bees in ways no one understands.

The corporations have got to go. They are going to wipe out all life on this planet if we don't stop them somehow. Electing corporate politicians is killing the world. It's high time people woke the hell up to that problem. It doesn't matter if it Democrats or Republicans - Packers or Bears, it's still the freaking NFL...massive 3rd party votes, leave the crap-food and non-essential goods on the shelves, move your money to funds that specialize in sustainable industries, whatever you can do it all adds up.

Are mobile phones wiping out our bees?

Scientists claim radiation from handsets are to blame for mysterious 'colony collapse' of bees

It seems like the plot of a particularly far-fetched horror film. But some scientists suggest that our love of the mobile phone could cause massive food shortages, as the world's harvests fail.

They are putting forward the theory that radiation given off by mobile phones and other hi-tech gadgets is a possible answer to one of the more bizarre mysteries ever to happen in the natural world - the abrupt disappearance of the bees that pollinate crops. Late last week, some bee-keepers claimed that the phenomenon - which started in the US, then spread to continental Europe - was beginning to hit Britain as well.

The theory is that radiation from mobile phones interferes with bees' navigation systems, preventing the famously homeloving species from finding their way back to their hives. Improbable as it may seem, there is now evidence to back this up.

Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) occurs when a hive's inhabitants suddenly disappear, leaving only queens, eggs and a few immature workers, like so many apian Mary Celestes. The vanished bees are never found, but thought to die singly far from home. The parasites, wildlife and other bees that normally raid the honey and pollen left behind when a colony dies, refuse to go anywhere near the abandoned hives.

The alarm was first sounded last autumn, but has now hit half of all American states. The West Coast is thought to have lost 60 per cent of its commercial bee population, with 70 per cent missing on the East Coast.

CCD has since spread to Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece. And last week John Chapple, one of London's biggest bee-keepers, announced that 23 of his 40 hives have been abruptly abandoned.

Other apiarists have recorded losses in Scotland, Wales and north-west England, but the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs insisted: "There is absolutely no evidence of CCD in the UK."

The implications of the spread are alarming. Most of the world's crops depend on pollination by bees. Albert Einstein once said that if the bees disappeared, "man would have only four years of life left".

No one knows why it is happening. Theories involving mites, pesticides, global warming and GM crops have been proposed, but all have drawbacks.

German research has long shown that bees' behaviour changes near power lines.

Now a limited study at Landau University has found that bees refuse to return to their hives when mobile phones are placed nearby. Dr Jochen Kuhn, who carried it out, said this could provide a "hint" to a possible cause.

Dr George Carlo, who headed a massive study by the US government and mobile phone industry of hazards from mobiles in the Nineties, said: "I am convinced the possibility is real."

The case against handsets

Evidence of dangers to people from mobile phones is increasing. But proof is still lacking, largely because many of the biggest perils, such as cancer, take decades to show up.

Most research on cancer has so far proved inconclusive. But an official Finnish study found that people who used the phones for more than 10 years were 40 per cent more likely to get a brain tumour on the same side as they held the handset.

Equally alarming, blue-chip Swedish research revealed that radiation from mobile phones killed off brain cells, suggesting that today's teenagers could go senile in the prime of their lives.

Studies in India and the US have raised the possibility that men who use mobile phones heavily have reduced sperm counts. And, more prosaically, doctors have identified the condition of "text thumb", a form of RSI from constant texting.

Professor Sir William Stewart, who has headed two official inquiries, warned that children under eight should not use mobiles and made a series of safety recommendations, largely ignored by ministers.
