Thank you for your vision and desire that you shared on the Jean Hudon site.
I see the vision as we create together as One our new story and re-creating Eden on our beautiful Earth Planet.
Many of us have reflected our light to others within the balancing and transforming of our personal issues to more fully step into the magnificence of who we really are.
I see such a beautiful co-creation playing out as others awaken to their magnificence and light. As we reflect our light together beyond the old story of duality, we create the new story of Love and Harmony which is spreading throughout the land and into the Universes.
The light is consistently becoming brighter as the dark fades into the recesses of time and we are free to create what we desire as a whole with a new and clear vision.
These are such exciting times that we have chosen to come and assist with the transformation of the old energies that no longer serve our highest good, and co-create the new story of Peace on Earth.
Thank you for your beautiful reflection of Love/Light and encouraging others to share the vision of what we all desire and deserve within our power and magnificence of Unconditional Love.

So often in life, things come our way that some would call them coincidences, but we can also choose to call them Graces.
I feel it timely that I should read your email “birthing a brave new world” sent me today by way of Jean Hudon’s EarthRainbowNews.
You wrote: " This we know: We are summoned, and how we respond is critical.
Do we step up to the plate and begin to make the necessary changes, or do we continue to complain, turn away, and wait for others to change?"
After having read your bio in your web page, I believe it appropriate that I introduce myself a little: In mid-1970’s, my successful scientific career (B.S., Chemistry, National Taiwan University; M.S., Chemical Oceanography, MIT; Ph.D., Marine Biology, Scripps Institute of Oceanography; Inventor, Aquaculture Wastewater Reclamation Technology, New York Times,1975) propelled me to be exposed to high level governmental and professional sectors. I soon decided to leave my technical field because I was convinced that the world was not a better place not for lack of technical solutions but for lack of good human values and social systems.
I devoted myself to self re-education in the humanities to search for knowledge in order to design the best human system I can that will purify our corrupted values in order to recycle souls. (My equivalence of the best ecological system to purify wastewater and recycle natural resource?)
I did not think it worthwhile to waste my time pushing a technology that required 89 permits and endless legal challenges by established interest groups fearful of suffering reduced profits.
I also found accepting tenured professorship unconscionable given that the general public in American society had too little security.
I also wanted to devote more time to my young children then.
I have finally been able to distill my self-education into an understanding of history and culture that might be worthwhile to share with the public to enable Americans to understand our world today. Since only truth can set us free and democracy can only come from a free people, and global peace through true democracy, our task is clear.
Without global peace, everything else seems pretty futile. I also believe that I have found a few concrete UN actions that will be effective to give the world peace a prayer’s chance.
Germane to your call to action, I would only elaborate upon a proposal of
community building:
(1) If we live in old support frameworks, we will continue to be powerless to stop the march of the present course of history.
(2) If war industry continues to have almost all the money to show, we will be powerless to effect change.
(3) If we treat our retirement, our live hood, our money and our way of dying the same old way, we will remain powerless to change.
Therefore, what I envision is a community fashioned after the Madonna House (Google it), but with modifications that I believe would make the model much more inclusive, thus more powerful with chances of much broader participations and varieties. To summarize: Madonna House are made of and governed by tri-directorship of:
(1) Priest House
(2) Lay women community whose members first take vows of chastity, service (with emphasis on peace, justice or charity) and poverty.
(3) Lay men community, same as lay women’s.
In my present conception, the House would be made up of:
(1) Nun House.
(2) Priest House.
(3) Lay Women House.
(4) Lay Men House.
(5) Couples House whose members take vows of service and poverty but not
chastity (only faithfulness) .
Houses (1) and (2) can be replaced by a Pastor’s House instead. The Madonna House is institutionally affiliated with Catholic Priesthood (Local Bishops of the present 20 Houses invite and initiate them.) The proposed House can use any of the existing mainstream religions: Catholic, Protestant, Buddhist, Jewish or Islamic. However, it is quite a bit more demanding than Kibutz. It is also not meant to replace the dominant family structures. It is more like a bridge between the religious communities and conventional families.
Most of all, it is meant to be a social activism center fast tracked with internally generated funds to effect global peace with justice.
I have considered the Order of the St. Joseph’s Sister to serve the function of the Bishops. Alternatively, I see the United Church of Christ as sponsoring participant. I understand that the United Buddhist Church of Thit Na Hahn has intention of enlarging itself into lay communities that appear to be on similar track.
I believe that the funds so combined (through participants’ pooling their retirement funds into a Global Peace and Justice Endowment Fund) can very quickly become extremely sizable. Instead of donations of hundreds of $, we are talking about hundreds of thousands. In our personal case, we are talking about $5M. This is because our present bad medical and elder care industry are so bad so that once freed from the provision of those needs –- as the new community people join would provide for those needs better -- large amount of Boomer generation wealth can be gathered into a show of force very quickly. 50 good men and women would be enough to form such a community so that whole townships could be transformed (To paraphrase both Jesus and Confucius).
I believe that just like the founder of the Madonna House in the 1950’s, grandmothers are the ones to initiate it. I see the missions more diversified and flexible than the Madonna House.
I have enough land in San Diego's North County to begin the first such community. It can even have an educational camp and retreat facility built-in to quickly promote similar communities in other States. If it catches on people’s imagination, it can have fast propagation.
The security that can only come from extended intentional community will
enable us to speak truth to power and engage in public actions in sustainable ways.
How does a goal of “Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, step aside. Here comes the $60 Billion People’s Global Peace and Justice Fund” sound? It just might give our young generation the Hope necessary to energize them. In conclusion, I direct you to the following beautiful web site:

I have been on the verge of taking just such actions. I have begun actions
to give my three boys’ families their inheritance this year within the
tax-exempted amount as gift (which is the same as what it would be after
2010 anyway in this crazy tax policy of our present government.) I hope
that the extra financial freedom will free them to be able to speak truth to power more. That would make them much more effective loving parents to their new babies -- my grandchildren -- than anything else can. It is easy for older people to forget the burden of responsibility to provide for one's children.
Further freed from earthly financial responsibilities (I have already put the bulk of my asset into a charitable trust since 2001), I have been thinking what could be the most effective actions to take to birth a new world that would give us global peace.
May I ask you to consider my proposal above one of the "stepping up to the plate" sort of response? Please feel very free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks in advance.

Dear Joyce,
The clarion call is continuously sounding and has been heard by wise hearted people over the millennia of time. Many have left their voices for us to follow in the wise words we can listen to or read even today. Now though it is time for us to raise our own voices in mass to sound the pleas of yesterday not just for today, but for the tomorrows that line up before us like an army waiting for the first command.
My heart and spirit joins that call and I am ready to lift the banner with others in the Light Brigade! We who have ears to hear and eyes to see cannot wait for the single commander to lead us onward to the future we strive for. Today the 'leader' is not a person, it is many people as one who are connected and acting in unison through the strength and clarity of the Light. It is through our reactions, actions and meditative practice that we connect physically within our communities and spiritually within the world we know and the universe we are opening to.
We gain our strength from within and we share our strength from the heart. If we have enough faith in our future, we can move the mountain of darkness that rules this planet and we can disarm the weapons of mass destruction that destroys our souls.
The Light that we surround ourselves with and that we become is also the vehicle that we travel in to touch the hearts of all our brothers, sisters and all creations on this planet and beyond. There are no barriers that we need pass through except our own doubt. We have a strength that cannot be destroyed and it is growing moment by moment. The Light has a wonderful way of working that is so beautiful to behold. If one person is a Light and another person joins that person in the Light there is still only one Light only bigger and brighter! There is no need for competition, control or show of strength because we are as one.
The Light that I am joins you Joyce. I await what you offer to share and together join all who respond to your call.

It's very gratifying to know your appreciation for Matthew's messages -- and perhaps the books (I don't know if you have them).
Thank you for clarifying how things went. There was such a flurry of emails from/to Jean, Kathleen Roberts, Alex Kochkin and you and me that it was confusing -- apparently two issues were involved and the paths crossed.
It's not necessary to tell me you're not looking for personal gain -- I know you're not! Neither am I, and I think you know that. We all have the same vision, the same purpose and goal.
Heartfelt thanks for taking the helm of birthing a new nation -- for all your impressive light service (I was especially moved by the Grandmothers' Circle).

I am a woman aged 92. My father was in World War I and my husband (from Canada), brother and sister were in World War II. My brother and sister both saw active service overseas, one in the Pacific, the other in Europe. We accomplished putting down the forces of the powerful ones who wanted to overcome and rule the world. But this new war, from my perspective, is only meant to further the cause of world domination of the powerful. Peace is the only thing that can save our world. Bombs and killing and hatred do not. They only stir up more of the same. Could we Americans just wake up and work together in kindness and understanding , we could save the earth, humanity, and ourselves.

THAT IS BEAUTIFUL.
I often wonder about myself .. in this huge world ... my small self.
I found that a feral female kitty had birthed 5 babies. She chose a drain pipe as her home. When it rains (pours, which is rare in Santa Fe) the run off of another drain rushes into her burrow.
Animals are sooooo smart. They scoot out of the pipe when they know the rain is coming.
Mama kitty has since died and 2 of her babies.
But we have Chloe, Booda and Fig'ro that are tiny beautiful babies. I have been feeding them twice a day (they were/are too tiny to fend for themselves and know hunting skills); they have a warm bed inside the pipe and I change it frequently, washing the dirty one. They know their names but will not, of course, come to me. I put lavender oil on the back of my hand so they will "smell me." They are so, so dear.
The most remarkable thing is that they live right behind the most smelly garbage dumpster and whew is it foul. But the neighbor hood is primarily a Hispanic (NO offence intended) one and the tenants speak very little English if any. They have left the babies alone to grow and they have left the area clean after I cleaned it up the best that I could.
I guess my point is, the animals need us, too. Sometimes the human theory .. "let nature take it's course" is pure bunk. And if it is a four legged one or a feathered one, if that is where the heart leads, go and be quick about it.
In a state that is #1 in animal abuse and #1 in animal euthanasia, three little lives are so dear and precious.

I know and remember. We’ve gone far beyond the point of believing that a written agreement is sufficient to assure peace, for instance. This is just more political propaganda. Peace is a state of being and a commitment to sustain that state in the midst of chaos. It’s an art, a spiritual discipline. We see how sacred agreements written by politicians are when we look at the Geneva Conventions and Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo just in recent history; or at the evisceration of the U.S. Constitution by this Administration (and others…) Creating a better world will happen among more evolved beings it ends up. Your words Joyce, reminded me of the famous quote by Margaret Mead…something like” “Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed citizens to change the world. Indeed, it is only they who ever has…_ For all the possibility that may exist for the People to rise up and engage the true power dormant within them, most remain sheepish and it will be the few who will, as usual, lead the way. I wish it were different, and perhaps, in the face of the Light and Love of God, the numbers will change. Until then, it looks like beer, football “winning” at war and SUV’s remain more important…

So, this would be a group who interacts among themselves to help each other with their goals? I'm still confused as to what is expected. Is it a discussion group or the beginning of something we would all form by sharing our ideas?

As it is now most people are all off in their specific groups...such as lyme groups, other disease groups, environmental groups, spiritual groups....etc and it is more difficult to progress when there is no connection between groups. We all have a piece of the puzzle so I think your idea will help solve that very nicely. (Received several messages from Ann)
Dear Jean:
Things are settling down and I have copied and compiled the many loving and supportative messages received in response to my article and your last newsletter. It is encouraging and heart-warming. I have also responded to each and every letter. Now I know even more how much time, energy and love you pour into your compilations to help all of us and our world to heal and to evolve.
I am quite interested in your idea of linking a web page to your site; one that will share the comments and ideas of others. I am willing to pay the $100 for a 10 year domain name. So I am working on the Mission statement and see the site as a central space/clearing house - a circle to continue the clarion call to inspire, motivate, assist, support, encourage and acknowledge what is unfolding as well as to connect/link people together as a result. I envision that some will do small things, some already are actively working to change self an world, others are involved in larger projects. Some will create (or already have created) groups an organizations which some will join, while others follow a more solitary path. It will unfold as it will. The important point is to acknowledge what is on-going and is foundational to all yet to come, as well as to help the energy and change to continue so that more will awaken. What do you think?

I love your bold 'wake-up call' to start doing something, any thing.
For me, I am a psychiatric health worker (1 year to go and then I have my bachelor degree) in Amsterdam (the Netherlands)and at times I really don't know how on earth I can integrate or shine my light into this merely materialistic, fearful, medicated mental health institution... but spirit has called me to do this work, that I am certain of... maybe it is my own illusion but I depply feel that Light is needed everywhere for everyone, that is why I also love the call you make..
For some time it is my wish to meet other lighworkers especially working in the field I have put my heart's intention, the traditional mental health care. Maybe I can get into contact with people who can advise me a little bit and the other way around, something like that....
