Hello everyone
First, exceptionally I send you this compilation the old-fashioned way, directly from my computer, instead of through the automated listserver because of the serious glitch that occurred to it last night - see the possible explanation for this problem in item #5 below.
On the eve of the onset of a war whose lenght, intensity and consequences are highly unpredictable - but whose far-fetched official motives never convinced anyone - you will find in this compilation a selected series of most propitious thoughts, observations and inspirational writings that will hopefully help alleviate a bit the very sad overtones running through our hearts and souls on this momentous time epitomizing the apex of violence since the first ape-like man hit another man with a the first weapon ever designed, as exemplified in the movie Odyssey 2001...

Hi Jean
It strikes me that what's really wrong with the world today (well, one thing that's wrong with the world today!) is that the governments are acting like unyielding authoritarian parents of 'disobedient' children.
When will they learn that they are not our parents? How can we remind them that they are MERELY elected (in most cases) representatives/servants of we, the people who are just not listening to the people who elected them? Instead, they are strutting around as if they were the avenging dictatorial heads of dysfunctional households.
Enough is enough Jean, but where do we go from here?
My inner voice says "upwards". Upwards to Godforce - and upwards to our Cosmic brothers and sisters who are waiting in the 'other-dimensional' wings for enough of us to call them for our help.
This is funny for me to write this, as I'm a firm believer that if we create a problem, it's up to us to fix it - that's the responsible way.
But what do we do when children are at the mercy of abusing parents? We call upon a larger, impartial body to firstly extricate the children from present danger - and then do what is necessary to prevent the same thing from happening again. Whether that is incarceration of the parents, plus education, counselling or a mix of all the above - that depends on the situation.
And that is what I feel is what we as a planet may need right now. Because I feel we, the 'pseudo children' in this crazy world are pretty much powerless in and of ourselves to create the peaceful changes we desire. Bush, Blair and Howard just aren't listening. No matter how many peace marches we attend.
I feel that what we need right now is a large, wise, elder, impartial body (otherworldly wise beings) to come to our aid.
So my question to your readers Jean is: apart from contact via meditation, does anyone know of any other way we can contact our extraterrestrial Light Brothers and Sisters?

I agree that we, as a nation, should not be taking preemptive action against Iraq or any other nation for that matter. However, if (when) we do attack, I must say that we should support fully our troops.
The folks involved in the actual fighting are not responsible for the mess they are being sent into. They are, to quote Bob Dylan, only "pawns in the game".
Being an ex airborn ranger, I feel compelled to say that no one is less inclined to start something than those who will be in the line of fire. It is a very hard thing to be sent into a situation that you may not agree with by politicians who risk, at most, re-election while you risk death - but when you are in the military that is exactly what you may be called upon to do.
Disagree with the politicians, slam them into the ground for being bone-headed and careless - but please - do not come down hard on those who are being sent into the theater of operations to do the bidding of the politicos.

Thanks for sharing this perspective with me/us.
Seldom do anyone indeed take this aspect into consideration. I for one would never for any reason get into the military even under the threat of violence or imprisonment. I know many of these young 18, 19 or 20 year old kids have all kinds of reasons for joining the U.S. military either because they are poor and need to find a job, any job, or because their whole culture and family encouraged them to do the "patrioc" thing. I know also that at that age you are often very naive, or just not yet seasoned enough to have independent thinking and individual opinions not formed through the influence of others. And we must remember that the military now routinely go into schools to recruit and begin to mold the minds of youths so they may one day join the army - and they have become cunningly good at subtly brainwashing and coaxing those yound minds into believing they will have a glorious formative experience that will help them for the rest of their life...
The truth of it is most of these kids are also in a sense helpless victims of the military machine that is consuming the flesh, bones and souls of the people of the United States and it needs lots of it with the overarching commitments to the hegemonious domination of the planet to which their non-elected leaders and military-industrial mafia aspire.
Yet they have not been physically coerced to become trained and ready to kill and maim innocent civilians as well as forcefully enlisted Iraqi soldiers (90% of them) under the criminal regime of a monster created and armed by the very government who now wants him disarmed and out of his palaces.
So in a way this is their chosen karma. Yet I'm not one who would want to judge any of them. This will come at another time and place and they will be the ones to contemplate in their Life review and assess from their soul's divine perspective what they are now about to do in Iraq.
If all the soldiers - and all the workers creating those sophisticated and unprecedently lethal weapons - were to decide one day that in their heart and conscience they can no longer continue what they are doing and if those willing to patriotically and almost blindly support their presidential godfather-in-chief once the war starts would also one day see through the smokescreen of policital manipulations and false patriotic duties that none of this is morally, ethically and spiritually right, then there could no longer be any war on this planet and Peace would indeed prevail on Earth.
And I believe this day of global awakening and massive change of hearts and minds is soon to be a blazingly radiant reality for all to behold and celebrate.
This is the vision I choose to nurture and my sense is that it is immensely more "contagious" and persistent than the vision of a war-tortured and ecologically-tormented planet put forward by the few lost souls overshadowing their governmental puppets in the U.S. and around the world.

It is my desire to circulate this brief reminder of what we all know deep inside, and that is, that regardless of how opposed we are to acts of aggression, war, destruction, manipulation, disenfranchisement, and other horrors , regardless of how afraid or angry we may be with the would-be perpetrators of these acts, whoever they may be, it is ultimately the energy of Love from within our hearts, rather than opposition and struggle, that will heal man's drive towards destruction and self-destruction.
Love is not just some woolly, fuzzy feeling that occasionally comes over us when we're feeling vulnerable. Far from that. It is the most misunderstood thing on the planet.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, ALONG WITH DEEP PEACE, IS IN FACT IS THE HIGHEST STATE OF BEING WE HUMAN BEINGS ARE ABLE TO ATTAIN, FOR THROUGH THAT VIBRATION WE BECOME ATTUNED TO THE CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE CALLED GOD, THE UNIVERSE, ALL THERE IS, AND THAT WHICH WE VISUALIZE IN OUR IMAGINATION WHILE SO ATTUNED, BECOMES READILY MANIFEST THROUGH THE AGENCY OF DIVINE SUBSTANCE.
Love is the most healing, balancing energy there is.
Love like thoughts can be sent to anyone, anywhere, instantly.
Whereas our fear, as well as our judgment, disapproval, and hate projected unto someone will serve to FEED their aberrant attitude and behavior, Love is just the opposite. Love, even when sent anonymously, long-distance through the ethers, has the power to activate the same kind of positive energy within the person/s receiving it. It will create harmony, balance, clarity, good-will, and harmful acts cannot be carried out in such a state.
We need to understand that all persons generating thoughts, words and actions that are not positive, constructive and life-affirming, behave in this way because of a deep inner lack of Loving Acceptance of themselves. Any criminal, aggressor or bully is that because he/she has become totally dislodged from the inner matrix of Love, and abides in an inner state of Fear and Hate. The ultimate way to rehabilitate such people is through the energy of Love and Compassion, and not through punishment, condemnation, hate or fear.
A great deal more can be said about all of this... however, what is important in this moment is to take some time to physically relax, and first direct all our Love and Compassion to ourselves, accepting ourselves totally and unconditionally. When we feel our heart swell with Love, imagine seeing in your mind's eye the angry, bitter, hateful people intent on doing harm to others, and direct to them not more anger and hate, for this only makes their negative intent stronger, but send them Compassion and Love on a beam of soft light. Enfold them and surround them with that light..... and do not judge them either. In your mind, accept them, just as they are and see them as beings worthy or our Compassion and Love, for through life's vicissitudes, they have become estranged from Love, hence warped, dysfunctional and intent on doing harm. As you do that, ask in prayer that the Divine Source join you in healing these beings with Its Love and Light, and it shall be done. Imagine all the negativity dissipate, and harmony, balance, good will and the light of reason become activated within them. Imagine them act in ways that are harmonious, balanced and beneficient to all concerned.
In The Course in Miracles it is stated that all human creations, whatever they may be, belong to one of two possible categories; they can be either expressions of Love, or, if Love is blocked within the person, they are cries for Love. There is nothing else. Acts of aggression are cries for help.
Friends, this boundless invisible energy we have within us called Unconditional Love is truly the GREATEST POWER THAT THERE IS; it is the Divine within us, and is ultimately what is needed to heal and balance ourselves, our families, our friends and our enemies.
Please go inside, into the Heart of Your Being where Love dwells, where God dwells, and ask for the Love to fill you. It shall be the greatest gift you can give to yourself. Accept it. Then send Love and Forgiveness to your past, to your present, to your future and to all the people in your life. Send Love wherever healing and balance and harmonization are needed.
And please, set aside some extra time to send Loving Light and Compassion to those that are intent on engaging in acts of terrorism, acts of war, acts of aggression, acts of destruction, or in selfish manipulation of others for the purpose of controlling them, enslaving them, taking their power away, keeping them in fear and ignorance and struggle, so they would not discover their true nature and their true power.
Be at Peace, and send Peace and Love out with every breath, as often as you remember..... and may the Company of Heaven join you in the healing of humanity and in the healing of this world.
On a ray of Light, I send Peace and Unconditional Love to You.

As many of you know, I continue to be an aerospace consultant. I am on mailing lists for Congressional Reports, among other things, and from time to time, I comment about the underlying and read-between-the-lines info that pops out at me. The cover of the report attached and below caught my attention.
I thought I would send it out to you since the public generally has no idea how many satellites are in space. Nor does the public have an understanding of what each launch has a potential for doing in the way of continuing the Secret Govt's agenda.
Keeping in mind that the cover only depicts U.S. satellites, unclassified satellites and is 3 years old (there are 3-4 launches a month by the U.S. alone), take note of two things. One is the inner circle that almost completely engulfs our planet with a matrix of satellites in low Earth orbit. I think this is the first artificial grid and is used in conjunction with HAARP. Secondly, take note of the outer circle of satellites that in my opinion is to counter the Christ Consciousness Grid.
It is for this reason that I ask each of you from time to time to take a minute or a second or even one simple thought... to visualize love strengthening the Christ Consciousness Grid and Higher Consciousness Grids. See love in the form of light moving through the grid(s) and becoming brighter. Come from your heart, and give thanks to the Beings that hold the grid.
We can and are making a difference!

Just a quick note - not sure if there's another glitch in your server, but I got this message 8 times. Thought you would want to know that.
HERE IS THE EXPLANATION I SENT TO THE 2 DOZEN PEOPLE OR SO WHO ALSO INFORMED ME OF THIS PROBLEM:
I'm very sorry about this problem and have no idea what caused it. I got them all too!
Obviously a technical glitch occured in the automated server as I sent it only once last night.
I just discovered it this evening and spoke with the technician who explained to me it seems a loop occurred in the system originating from a single email address on the list (now removed from it!) which kept sending back some kind of command that made the system to resend the same compilation again and again. So possibly not all subscribers got the compilation at all but I can't be sure of that.
For now the system is shut down and we will try it again tomorrow to see if removing that single email address has solved the problem.
Incidentally the technician also told me an entirely new automated listserver system will soon replace the existing one which has been causing several such problems. Hopefully this will put a permanent end to all such technical glitches...

I would love to share this with you - it was my experience at the candlelight vigil last night.
Dear Friends:
I don't have pictures but I wanted to share my experience with you. We attended the vigil in Washington Park in Denver last night. It was a breezy and partly cloudy night. I took my 2 boys (8 and 10) because I wanted them to know that despite all the efforts to go to war, there really ARE people out there who want peace.
I talked to them about the rules on the way and they understood. I told them that this was our way to hold up our own light to the world for peace - regardless of what is going on.
When we got there, there was about 100 people gathered holding candles. It was not quite 7pm. We got out and joined the crowd. I was hoping to see someone I knew, but didn't. The boys were really wound up but in a good way.
About 10 minutes later we looked up and saw something I will never forget. There was a huge LINE of people walking towards us - hundreds and hundreds. It was like something from a movie. It reminded me of the movie Pay it Forward or Field of Dreams where all you could see was lines of people coming. This went on for a good 20 minutes. Everytime we looked up there was STILL heavy streams of people walking towards us.
My kids were fussing at first because the candles kept blowing out. Then my son shifted gears and said - "this is really good, Mom - because when one of our lights go out we can pass it on to each other. We won't let anyone's lights go out." Then almost magically, it had become their mission to go find people whose candles were blowing out and to help relight them.
At one point my little son got cold and ornery - and his brother did something I've never seen him do before. He said "come here Pat - I'll keep you warm." He put his arms around him. I gave him my sweater. Pat snuggled in between us and had the biggest grin I've ever seen. They both said "I love you" to each other and to me. The energy of the peace was doing its thing. What a kodak moment for a mom!
There were so many children and families out there. Kids were happy. We were singing. At least 45-50 cars drove past and honked. Everytime they did, everyone raised up the light as if to salute them. Only ONE out of all of them yelled something oppositional. It was pretty profound to notice that out of all of those people, only ONE was "pro-war".
As it came to an end, I realized that even though I didn't see anyone I knew, I knew everyone there. It was like a huge gathering of souls - people who were committed to showing a peaceful front to the world. People who wanted their children to be amongst a crowd of peaceful angels.
When we left, my kids were actually sad to go. They had a great time. My older son said "this was the best night of my life!" I know we made a difference. I know my kids will never forget this. I also know I never will..

I woke up early this morning with thoughts of Bush's war plans going through my mind. Last night I watched "Four Feathers "the latest Hollywood remake of the old classic anti-war movie. In this version the stupidity and brutality of the British officers in the Sudan was portrayed more realistically.
Then I listened to the CBC news and learned Bush had exhorted the American people to prepare for war by reminding them that 15 years ago Saddam had used poison gas on the Kurds. No mention of their British allies using Mustard Gas on the Kurds when they ruled Iraq of course, and no mention of the fact that America supplied Sadam with the poison gas in the first place to use against the Iranians in a US proxy war.
I thought about the dishonesty of the Bush administration in their carefully orchestrated war-mongering propaganda, telling partial truths that create the opposite impression from the whole truth, such as Powell quoting Saddam's brother-in-law who defected as listing the chemical and biological weapons programs he had directed, while neglecting to mention he also said they had been
destroyed on Saddam's orders shortly after the Gulf War.
I thought about the Christian religion Bush wears like a flag as he talks of waging
war in a crusade against evil. And I thought of the Biblical references in the Book of Revelations to the coming of the Anti-Christ, and how he will confuse people's minds with deceit and lead them into war and plunge the world into chaos. So I made a new sign for today's antiwar march in Ottawa. On one side it reads JESUS IS LOVE, on the other BUSH IS ANTI-CHRIST
My wife looked at it and said she wouldn't be seen with me carrying that, and
I said that was okay but I had to do it because it summed up my thoughts and feelings and might stimulate Americans to think. In fact the sign attracted some wonderful people to walk with me, including a laid off high-techie from Hungary who had gone into Yugoslavia during that war to rescue his mother. Also a former university prof with a PhD in History who was unemployable because she insisted on teaching facts, not political correctness.
She was attracted by my relating the story of External Affairs Minister Paul Martin Sr. going berserk and physically attacking me at Carleton U. when I pointed out the essential contradictionin Canada's policy on the Vietnamese War. We wondered how father's tendency to incoherent rage had affected Paul Martin Junior as a child.
We walked between the Raging Grannies and the Christian church groups, accepted by both. The vibes were so gentle a young child slept peacefully in a stroller pushed along by a parent beside me. The sun was glorious and we all lingered in the streets around the US embassy - a cold inhuman building with reflective one-way glass windows, high security fences and a street perimeter of concrete posts, with a modern sculpture featuring steel beams at weird angles.
It reminds me of Scrooge McDuck's money vault - Donald Duck cartoon fans
will understand. We posed for lots of photos, and I rotated the sign to ensure Bush's agents got the full message. I don't think they'll pass it on, but hopefully it will erode morale wherever it goes :-)
Then we sang "All we are asking, is give peace a chance" in full chorus as we marched to Parliament Hill. People in cars and trucks in the traffic stopped by police alongside the route honked their horns in overwhelming support. My new friend asked to carry the sign, but handed it back as we approached Parliament Hill, not wanting to be photographed. He later insisted on buying me a hot chocolate and bagel, saying the experience of carrying my sign was more than worth it :-)
We all posed for a group shot on the steps of Parliament, the BUSH IS ANTI-CHRIST signp rominently displayed in front. Young girls danced in an impromptu circle in front of us. It was a truly spiritual Love-In, reminiscent of the '60s, without the need for drugs. That's about it from Ottawa, what were people's experiences in peace demonstrations elsewhere?

Hi Jean, I cried tears of joy through most of your last compilation. The channelings rang so true to me. I have been telling people since last year that all will be well and we will have no more wars and we are going to see some awesome changes in our lifetime. I have days where I am full of feelings of joy and thanksgiving and feel all the help in spirit we have gathering around us close. OF course, most people say, I hope you are right, but they don't believe me and are afraid. They want to know how I know such things. I tell them I have higher sources of information. :)

Feb. 17th - "There is no greater mission than to spread love in the world. Love binds all things together, not just people but every individual atom of substance the moon and the stars. Love is the only thing that truely exists, all else is illusion. When you come into heavenly realms this is obvious and everyone understands this. We experience it through our souls. When you are on Earth it is the rare soul that remembers, but soon you will all KNOW and you will not have to leave the Earth plane to know. This will be a great day for mankind. What a glorious celebration there will be in heaven and Earth.

Dear Jean,
This morning I was reflecting upon the word PATRIOTIC, loyalty to the fatherland, and how I have sort of disassociated from it ever since my days as a world traveler. The idea of patriotism brings to mind all of those things which help to separate and divide us. The ol' us versus them. Feeling my strong connection to Mother Earth these days in her time of ascension, I wondered if there was a word to express that sentiment, one whose loyalties were with Mother Earth. So then I thought, what about MATRIOTIC? Since 2003 is the rise of the feminine, why not proclaim ourselves Matriots for the greater good?

TO A CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTOR
The Master looked upon the world
In nineteen seventy-two,
He found men brutalized by hate,
And few to Him were true,
He saw men shedding human blood
Inflicting untold pain.
I heard the Master whispering,
"To them I spoke in vain!"
But then He spied one gallant man
Despised, scorned, and alone,
Because he would not hate and kill
A prison was his home.
His aim had been, not gaining wealth,
But serving fellow men.
I heard the Master whispering,
"In him I live again!"

There were two men who had a dispute
Over a boundary line.
One said, "This land belongs to me!"
The other said, "It is mine!"
So they fought and fought like two wild beasts,
And oh, the blood that was shed.
Till one of the men was crippled for life
And the other man was dead!
Then the cripple lived in misery,
And he cried in his despair,
"What fools we were so greedy to be!
There was plenty for both to share!"

Blessed are they who see the change we call death as a liberation from the limitations of this earth-life, for they shall rejoice with their loved ones who make the glorious transition.
Blessed are they who after dedicating their lives and thereby receiving a blessing, have the courage and faith to surmount the difficulties of the path ahead, for they shall receive a second blessing.
Blessed are they who advance toward the spiritual path without the selfish motive of seeking inner peace, for they shall find it.
Blessed are they who instead of trying to batter down the gates of the kingdom of heaven approach them humbly and lovingly and purified, for they shall pass right through.
